Abstract

Dental and oral health is an integral part of overall health services. One effort that can be used to improve children's dental and oral health is through self-focused health promotion activities in schools through UKGS. The aim of the research was to determine the factors that influence the behavior of using dental and oral health care among elementary school students in Talok Village, Malang Regency. Observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of all students in Talok, Malang was 145 respondents. The sample was 106 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Independent variables are health center support, school support, parent support, and student knowledge. The dependent variable is beviour of utilization of dental and oral health care among primary students.

Abstract

The application of work motivation and patient safety culture is one facet of work culture, which is an organizational management concept. Additional evidence regarding the use and efficacy of counseling in the workplace can be obtained by understanding how different stakeholders use it. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how brief counseling affects staff members' job motivation and adoption of the Ramdani Husada Clinic's patient safety culture. Quantitative research employing a "nonequivalent control group design" methodology is the methodology employed. A sample of sixty-three individuals was selected using a non-random sampling technique. Three statistical tests are used in the data analysis technique: multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The findings of the study demonstrated that.

Abstract

Pregnancy exercise is a sports activity carried out by pregnant women to prepare themselves for the birth process. Pregnancy exercise is given to pregnant women to prepare the mother's physical condition, to maintain the condition of the muscles and joints which play a role in the birth process, as well as to prepare the mother's psychological condition, especially to foster confidence and self-readiness in facing the birth process, so pregnancy exercise really needs to be emphasized to pregnant women. Pregnancy exercise is very important for pregnant women from 22 weeks of gestation onwards. The research design carried out was Correlational Analysis.

Abstract

The success of exclusive breastfeeding is related to self-efficacy, the mother's belief in her ability to provide exclusive breastfeeding is getting better, and the support ofher husband plays an important role in increasing the mother's self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of Ayah ASI group education on pregnant women's self-efficacy in breastfeeding plans. The method used was a quasi experimental non-equivalent with control group pretest-posttest intervention. The sample consisted of 27 respondents in the intervention group at the clinic of Neri midwife clinic and 27 respondents in the   control group at Pratama Niar clinic with consecutive sampling technique. The intervention was given in theform of “Ayah ASI” education for three weeks.

Abstract

Pregnancy post term increasing the duration of waiting time for birth can cause a stress reaction in the form of anxiety. Termination of pregnancy using misoprostol in post term pregnancies is expected to result in immediate labor and end in vaginal delivery. Research analyzes the influence of anxiety experienced by pregnant women post term on the success of misoprostol induction. The research design uses prospective cohort, sampling technique consecutive sampling with a minimum sample size of 37 samples. Data collection uses questionnaires Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A). Data were analyzed univariately, followed by bivariate tests Chi Square using SPSS version 2022. The results 78.3% of pregnant women post term experiencing anxiety before giving birth, 59.5% of mothers given misoprostol gave birth vaginally.

Abstract

Hypertension is a prevalent, non-communicable disease with elevated blood pressure. Overconsumption of salt increases blood pressure, posing a risk of stroke and heart attack. The DASH diet aims to lower blood pressure and maintain normal levels. This study aims to explore the relationship between self-efficacy, DAHS diet, and blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Kediri City sub-district. The study used a quantitative, observational, and cross-sectional approach to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy, the DASH diet, and blood pressure in hypertensive patients. A sample of 100 respondents was surveyed using questionnaires. The results showed that over half (70.0%) had high self-efficacy and adherence to the DAHS diet, while almost half (45.0%) had normal blood pressure. The chi-square test resulted in a p value of 0.000, rejecting the hypothesis.

Abstract

The elderly experience changes in physiological function and body structure, including decreased muscle mass, and joint stiffness. These changes lead to a decrease in the functional balance of the body. This study aims to analyze the difference in the effect of elderly gymnastics and the combination of elderly gymnastics with neuromuscular taping on dynamic balance and flexibility of the elderly. The design of this study was a quasi-experiment with two groups: group 1 elderly gymnastics, while group 2 elderly gymnastics and neuromuscular taping. The study population was the elderly in Karanglo Indah Elderly Gymnastics Group Malang City aged 60-74 years.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine how the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward I at RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang is influenced by work shifts, workloads, and work stress. This study uses a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study is 242 nurses, with a sample of 151 nurses selected using Probability Sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is SPSS with Multiple Linear Regression tests. This study found that among the morning, afternoon, and night shifts, the morning shift has the greatest influence, with a t-value of 2.164 > t-table 1.655 and a significance level of 0.032 < 0.05, indicating that the morning shift positively affects nurse performance. The influence of workload is indicated by a t-value of 9.855 > t-table 1.655 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that workload negatively affects nurse performance.

Abstract

The hospital as an advanced health facility collaborates with National Healthcare Insurance Patients (BPJS) using the INA-CBG’S package tarif grouping payment method so that quality control and cost control must be carried out. One of the diagnoses whose costs can be guaranted with BPJS is childbirth with Caesarean Section. The number of Caesarean Section is increasing from year to year and most of the patients are BPJS patients. From the Putra Waspada Hospital Financial Report, there is a negative difference in revenue receipt from Caesarean Section BPJS Patients. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors causing the difference in income revenue hospital in cases of Caesarean Section delivery for National Health Insurance Patients at Putra Waspada Hospital Tulungagung.The sample for this study was 250 medical records of patients who gave birth by caesarean section from January to December 2023.

Abstract

Non-compliance with wound care SOPs can trigger surgical site infections that result in increased morbidity and mortality, as well as increased length of care. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between compliance with the implementation of wound care SOPs, surgical site infection bundles, and blood sugar levels with the incidence of surgical site infections. Correlation research with a cross-sectional approach design. The independent variables of compliance with wound care SOPs, KGD, and the implementation of SSI bundles used observation.
