Abstract

The study population was all babies aged 6-12 months who experienced underweight. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique of 28 respondents. Data were collected by observation and subsequently tested using paired t-test. The average change in respondents’ weight before and after the baby massage is 114 grams. Paired t-test results show ρ value = 0.011 (95% CI: -.2005 - -. 0281). ρ value = 0.011 < α = 0.05, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, there is an effect of baby massage on baby growth aged 6-12 months in Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto Regency. It is recommended for health workers to provide health education regarding the way to do the right baby massage to support in providing knowledge and expertise to parents in doing baby massage independently at home to help to reach the optimal growth process, especially the baby’s weight gain.

The results of the study were the systolic of the intervention group decreased by 28.12 mmHg and the control group decreased by 8.94 mmHg with a p-value of 0,000. The diastolic of the intervention group decreased by 18.43 mmHg and the control group decreased by 3.75 mmHg with a p-value of 0,000. The conclusion of this study is purple yam extract has the potential as an alternative therapy to reduce blood pressure in postpartum hypertension.

Abstract

Female adolescent anemia is a health problem in Indonesia. Iron has not been able to reduce anemia. One of the causes is because people are not obedient in consuming Fe tablets. Sesame seeds are a plant-based source of iron which has no side effects and is a potential iron supplement in treating anemia. The research design was a pretest-post test quasy experiment with a control group design with a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 42 people who were divided into 2. Data analysis used independent test, paired test, Mann Whitney test and Wilcoxon sign rank test. The combination of 91 mg sesame meal with Fe tablet was proven to increase hemoglobin levels p value = 0.013 <0.05. Sesame seeds contain various important nutrients, namely iron, folate, flavonoids, copper and other nutrients that play a role in increasing hemoglobin levels so that they can overcome anemia.

Abstract

Post partum hypertension contributes to maternal mortality. Postpartum hypertension management can be in the form of pharmacological therapy, but it causes side effects for mother and baby. Several studies have shown that chayote can play a role in lowering blood pressure. This research aimed to prove the effect of chayote extract on reducing blood pressure in postpartum with hypertension. Quasy experiment pretest and posttest control group design. The number of samples was 19 interventions and 19 controls. The intervention group received 400 mg of chayote extract and 10 mg of nifedipine, while the control group received only 10 mg of nifedipine. The intervention was carried out for 7 days. The treatment group experienced significant changes in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure with p value = 0.000 compared to the control group. The chayote extract has a significant effect on reducing blood pressure in postpartum with hypertension

Abstract

This study was an observational analytic study conducted in the Hemodialysis unit of Zainal Abidin Hospital (RSUDZA), Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by taking secondary data from CKD patient visits in January-December 2019. The study population was all CKD patients in the registry of 2019 in the hospital, with a total of 406 patients enrolled. The highest unit cost of care based on real costs was the cost of surgical procedures, and the cost difference between INA-CBG’s and hospital tariffs in the treatment of patients with CKD is significantly different (p-value = 0.014, with gap difference of IDR 2,146,086). It is suggested an urgent evaluation and scrutinization for the management of CKD patients with hemodialysis to prevent the different treatment costs in the service

Abstract

This type of research is pre-experimental which will be conducted on 40 people with mental disorders without using a control group. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. This research was conducted by filling out questionnaires to respondents to determine coping and psychological resistance pre and post after the intervention. The analysis used was a paired t-test. There was an increase in coping scores and psychological resilience after the intervention, although there were still a few and many had fixed scores. The level of significance of the relationship with the paired t-test gave a result of = 0.026 for coping and 0.017 for resistance. The interpretation of the paired t-test was that there was a difference between before and after treatment because the p-value was <0.05. Vocational Rehabilitation is an activity that has a positive impact on the development of ODGJ (people with mental disorders).
