Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcers are one of the complications of diabetes mellitus that are often suffered by patients with a history of diabetes mellitus in addition to complications in the form of retinopathy. The purpose of this study was to collect appropriate types of therapy for wound care in diabetic foot ulcer patients. This study uses a systematic review approach. Article search was limited to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria in this study were diabetic patients with diabetic foot ulcers. The conclusion in this study is that honey is very effective for wound healing in diabetic foot ulcer patients, although there are several methods that are quite effective besides honey, namely the Vacuum Closing package (negative pressure wound care). Honey has been shown to reduce wound size and heal wounds

Abstract

In an article search using 3 databases, each of which was found from the National Library of 204 search results, PubMed 364 search results and Google Scholar 951 search results. After disqualification related to the year of publication, namely the last 5 years and the selection of duplicate articles, 485 articles were obtained, and in the end, 9 articles that matched the criteria were obtained. From 9 articles that have been reviewed and found, most of the patients who experienced burns experienced anxiety, but with different degrees of anxiety. Based on the literature review from 9 research journals, it can be concluded that reflexology is very useful for reducing anxiety levels in patients with burns. Reflexology can be combined with several other interventions such as music therapy and aroma inhalation therapy

Abstract

The design of this study was a qualitative case study. The inclusion criteria were students with a positive risk of suicide and high scores at the screening phase. Data were obtained by semi-structured interviews and analyzed thematically using the Colaizzi method. This study showed that the exploration of the risk factors for suicidal thoughts consisted of two themes, eight sub-themes, 25 categories, and 50 keywords. Two themes are suicide, and spiritual. Eight sub-themes namely Causes, Response to problems, Family attitude, Efforts that have been made, Obstacle factors, Supporting factors, Meaning of the problem faced, A feeling that arose spiritually. The risk factors for suicidal thoughts among students in Surakarta are that they have no interest in entering higher education, have difficulty in attending lectures, disappointing academic scores, broken home families, problems with a partner, financial issues, sadness, and disappointment in God, and they face problems repeatedly

Abstract

This result with paired t-test showed a significant increase in learning [pre-test (6,31.62), post-test (9.20.84), p <0.001). the increase in mean scores after attending online course was significant (p <0.001). there was no difference in learning (p = 0.482) after observation. The simulation results were carried out after course: check response (90.2%), exposed chest (93.1%), checked for pulse (93.1%), checked for breathing (87.2%), called emergency services (72.5%), use a defibrillator (86.2%), correct hand position (82.4%), perform chest compressions (92.4%), perform compressions of at least 2 inch (82.4%), full recoil (89.2%), provide ventilation (94.1%), use AED (84.3%), and positioned the pads (89.2%). BLS course conducted online is an alternative course and effective method to provide knowledge and skills, where students continue to accurately implement BLS actions

Abstract

Clinical practice is an integral part of nursing education that helps students to use critical thinking in problems solving. Anxiety can happen because students feel incompetent and lack the skills. This research aimed to describe nursing students’ anxiety level when entering clinical practice at the hospital in a private university in Tangerang. This study used a descriptive research method with total sampling 331 students. Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) questionnaire was used as an instrument. The results showed that students with mild anxiety levels were 286 people (86,4%), moderate anxiety were 39 students (11,8%), severe anxiety were five students (1,5%), and panic anxiety was only one student (0,3%). The anxiety level of nursing students is the majority at a mild level of anxiety. Further research needed to decrease anxiety in students when they doing clinical practice in a hospital

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to obtain the relationship between the parents’ knowledge and behaviours towards the ARI incidence in children under five years. This research used a descriptive quantitative methods The population was parents who have children under five years in one sub-district in Tangerang. 180 samples were taken using total sampling technique. The data collection was collected online with a valid and reliable questionnaire. Univariate test results showed 94 respondents (52.2%) had a high level of knowledge, and 131 respondents (72.8%) had good behaviours. There was a significant relationship between parent’s knowledge with ARI incidence (p=0.007). There was also a significant relationship between parents’ behavior with ARI incidence (p=0.038). Nurses must be actively providing health education related to ARI to parents and follow up regularly. Further research can develop regarding the factors that influence the knowledge and behavior of parents of ARI in children under five years

Abstract

The annual report of Public Health Center in Mundu in 2018, for the environmental sanitation program in STBM activities, it can be seen that villages that are verified as Open Defecation Free are 0.00% or there are still no villages that are categorized as Open Defecation Free villages, which currently there are still many people who have defecation behavior haphazardly even though the STBM program has been implemented 100%. this study aims to determine the relationship between public perceptions of Open Defecation Free and open defecation habits. the type of research used is quantitative with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study used a purposive sample of 100 respondents. Result: the results showed that there was a significant relationship between people's perceptions of Open Defecation Free and open defecation, namely the value of ρ value 0.01 with a value of α <0.05, which means 0.01 <0.05.

Abstract

Sexual violence is an act that leads to sexuality towards someone that is carried out by force, by anyone regardless of the relationship with the victim both in the family and work environment which can have a psychological impact on the victim. The literature study aims to determine the psychological impact experienced by each victim of sexual violence. In this literature study using five databases with the majority of research designs using case-control and qualitative. Prisms are used to select studies which include journals for the last five years and in English and Indonesian, titles, and abstracts. From the search results, eleven journals that match the inclusion criteria were obtained and the average number of participants was more than one hundred in each study. The psychological impact of sexual violence obtained from the summary of several studies is anxiety, withdrawal behavior, trauma, depression, and suicidal ideation

Abstract

One method to make menopause in experimental animals is the ovariectomy method. During menopause, hormonal changes occur, namely a decrease in the hormone estrogen. Estrogen is a powerful antioxidant that protects against oxidative stress during reproduction. The purpose of this study is to prove that ovariectomy can increase the expression of endometrial epithelial cells in white rats (Rattus norvegicus). This research design is true experimental with a randomized post- only control group design. The experimental animals used were female white rats (Rattus norvegicus) aged 9-12 weeks with a bodyweight of 150-250 grams totaling 30 individuals which were divided into 2 groups, namely the negative control group and the positive control group. Ovariectomy was performed and waited until the 28th post ovariectomy day. The apoptotic index was examined using Tunnel Assay. The data were analyzed and the Independent Sample T - Test was conducted

Abstract

This study uses a pre-experimental one group pre-post test design. The population in this study were all cadres of Posyandu under five in the working area of ​​the Pesantren II Public Health Center, Pakunden Village, Kediri City, which amounted to 47 people. The number of respondents as many as 38 people were selected randomly using simple random sampling. Data analysis used paired t test. The results of the study showed that the mean value of knowledge before was 6.37 and after 7.42. The mean value for behavior before is 19.24 and after 19.79, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge and behavior of cadres. There was an effect of giving the audiovisual demonstration method on the knowledge of cadres about massage therapy stimulation in improving nutritional status in children (Sig. 0.003 <0.05) and cadres' behavior about massage therapy stimulation (Sig. 0.004 <0.05)
