Abstract

Nurse managers play an important role in evaluating medical records through management activities, namely planning, organizing, actuating and controlling (POAC) that are carried out conventionally. Nurse managers play an important role in evaluating medical records through management activities, namely planning, organizing, actuating and controlling (POAC) that are carried out conventionally. Now medical records have evolved into integrative Electronic Medical Records (EMR). This review aims to explore the usefulness of EMS technology for nurse managers. Literature searches use two database sources namely ProQuest and Google Scholar with boolan search "Electronic Medical Records for nurse manager". Identified 9 articles worthy of review. The total participants of the entire article were 1539 people consisting of doctors and nurses (implementers and managers). It found that EMR is very useful for nurse managers, can increase productivity, facilitate the documenting of nursing care and improve the quality of care through an integrated system

Abstract

The research design used was a quasy experiment with a nonequivalent control group design approach involving 40 postpartum mothers as respondents consisting of 20 treatment groups and 20 control groups, which were taken by purposive sampling. The statistical test used in this study is the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the rest-feeding self-efficacy in the control group was mostly in the category of less than 80% (16 people), and in the treatment group mostly in the good category of 85% (17 people). The results of statistical tests using Mann Whitney obtained p-value (0.00 <0.05), which means that there is an effect of giving breastfeeding hypnosis (hypnobreastfeeding) on breastfeeding self-efficacy in postpartum mothers. Planting positive affirmations through hypnobreastfeeding into one's subconscious mind, can increase the mother's confidence in breastfeeding so that breastfeeding can be optimal for babies and achieve exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention guidelines among minimarkets at Makassar City, South Sulawesi. This is a qualitative study. Data were collected using a semi-structured questioner. Total 11 informants participated; they were minimarket managers, staff, consumers, and the COVID-19 task forces. The data were analyzed using NVivo. The application of regulation Number HK.01.07 /Menkes/382/2020 concerning health protocols for the public in public places and facilities to prevent and control coronavirus disease 2019, we found that most of the minimarkets have implemented health protocols, especially in washing hands with soap. In addition, although the application of social distancing during the visit (transaction) process at minimarkets has not been maximized due to crowded conditions and narrow locations. This study, therefore, suggests the need for the health authorities to proactively sensitize those involved in the implementation of COVID-19 measures on the importance and mechanisms of implementing health protocols

The purpose of this study was to analyze job stress and burnout syndrome on nurses in the emergency department during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, the statistical test used Sperman Rank test with (0.05). The research instrument used the Maslach Burnout Inventory and depression anxiety stress scales (DASS 42) using Google forms. The results of the Spearman Rank statistical test obtained p value 0.000 < (0.05) where it can be concluded that there is a relationship between job stress and burnout syndrome on nurses who work in the Emergency Unit Around Hospitals atl East Java. Efforts to minimize burnout syndrome includes increasing emotional intelligence, individual coping, spirituality, relationships with coworkers, and improving aspects of nurse leadership

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder, with increased levels of sugar in the blood. Untreated elevated blood sugar levels can lead to micro/macrovascular complications and neuropathy. One of the chronic complications of diabetes mellitus type 2 is diabetic foot ulcers. This study uses a Quasy Experiment design of two variables studied with a pre-test and post-test control design approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling on 45 respondents in the intervention group who were given the Buerger Allen exercise and 45 respondents in the control group who were not given the intervention. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the value of the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) before and after being given the Buerger Allen Exercise treatment, namely p <0.05. In conclusion, buerger allen exercise was effective in increasing the value of the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI).

Abstract

The study was conducted from March until June 2021. The number of nurses involved were: 39 first nurses and 33 second nurses. The research data were analysed using SPSS program version 25. The implementation of IDC on 5895 injected medication affected right time (p=0.000) and right documentation (p=0.041) in preparation of medication. IDC has a partial or simultaneous effect with the characteristics of the first nurse on the right dose and right time in preparation of drugs (p = 0.000). IDC also affects the right dose, right time and right documentation in administration of injected medication (p<0.05). The characteristics of the first nurse's education had a partial effect on right documentation in preparation and administration of drugs, and right time in administration of injected medication (p<0.05). Nurses' work experience also had a partial effect on right documentation in administration of injected medication (p= 0.001). IDC implementation reduces ME < 5%.
