Abstract

Abstract: Since COVID-19 was first discovered in Wuhan, it has caused COVID-19 referral hospitals to be "overwhelmed" including in Indonesia. In patients with confirmed COVID-19 or in patients with suspected COVID-19, the Basic Life Support (BHD) does not need to be postponed. However, there are some principles that must be adapted to keep patients and caregivers safe. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and insight of participants in general regarding emergency management during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method in implementing community service activities is divided into several stages, namely first conducting socialization, conducting webinars, followed by FGD. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in BHD knowledge among emergency room nurses before and after participating in the training. The provision of online BHD knowledge and training has proven to be effective in increasing the knowledge of emergency room nurses

Abstract

Introduction: Novel Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) caused by SARS-COV2 was first discovered in Wuhan, China, December 2019. WHO has designated Covid 19 as a pandemic which has resulted in an increase in mortality worldwide. Covid-19 attacks the respiratory system similar to pneumonia but has signs of decreased oxygen saturation. In Indonesia, all health workers and paramedics, especially for a nurse, must always be ready to serve and provide direct care, the transmission rate is very high and the number of cases is increasing every day. This will make nurses as health workers have more workloads and are very vulnerable to experiencing psychological problems in the form of anxiety. Objectives: This study aims to describe the anxiety level of nurses working in the COVID-19 isolation room. Method: This type of research is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. Total population 100 people, with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Result: This study showed that most of the nurses did not experience anxiety, 97 respondents (77.6%), 16 respondents (12.8%) mild anxiety, 11 respondents (8.8%), moderate anxiety, and 1 respondent (0.8%) severe anxiety. Conclusion: the picture of anxiety in nurses who work in the Covid-19 isolation room has the ability to respond to anxiety well.

Abstract

Burns are damage to the body's skin caused by heat trauma or cold trauma (frost bite). The community does not have optimal knowledge about burns, therefore the community does not have optimal knowledge about the first treatment of burns and the community does not have good skills in the first treatment of burns. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge about burns, burn first handlers and provide training on first handlers of burns first handlers. The methods used are burn treatment, counseling on the first treatment of burns and training on burn management. The number of respondents was 15 people. From the results of the pretest conducted, it was found that the average respondent had less knowledge and skills in handling burns. Evidenced by the average value of repondents below 7, and only one respondent has a value of 7 which means that they have less knowledge in handling burns. This is likely because respondents already know little about burns. After respondents were given knowledge about burn management, as well as demonstrations related to burn management, there was an increase in knowledge in burn management, although some have not achieved scores in the good category, but all have shown increased knowledge and skills in burn management.

Abstract

Namun, diperlukan lebih banyak penelitian untuk memperkuat temuan ini dan memperluas pemahaman tentang pengaruh sistem administrasi rumah sakit terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan   Kata kunci: pasien, pelayanan kesehatan, sistem administrasi rumah sakit   Background: Administrative systems have a very important role in managing all aspects of hospital operations, especially in health services. The quality of services provided by a hospital depends greatly on how effective the administrative system implemented is. Further research is needed to measure the extent to which the effectiveness of hospital administration systems can improve the quality of health services for patients. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the hospital administration system in managing health service operations, assess its impact on improving service quality, and provide recommendations for improvements to increase the effectiveness of the hospital administration system for better and more efficient health services. Methods: The 9 articles evaluated had a total score of 73% - 100%, indicating high study quality. The researcher chose the scoping review method to dive deeply into the research topic, opening up opportunities for further analysis. The PCC concept (Population, Concept, Context) in this research refers to Patients, Hospital administration systems and Health Services. The articles used in this research were found through databases such as Pubmed, Sagepub, Science Direct. Results: JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Quasi Experiment has 9 questions, Cross Sectional Studies has 7 questions, and Simple Review has 11 questions. Of the 569 articles identified, 15 articles met the criteria, while 6 articles did not meet the criteria and were excluded. Most of the research results used a Quasi Experiment design with 2 articles, Cross Sectinal with 6 articles and Simple Review with 1 article. Conclusion: This research shows that the hospital administration system, with interventions based on theoretical models such as Health Belief, Theory of Planned Behavior, and Social Cognitive Theory, can improve the quality of health services. The most common research design is Quasi Experiment, with the majority of studies being of high quality thus, the use of an effective hospital administration system, supported by theoretical model-based interventions, significantly improves health services. More research is needed to strengthen these findings and expand understanding of the influence of hospital administrative systems on the quality of health care.   Keywords: health services, hospital administration system, patient
