Abstract

Career guidance provided by guidance and counseling teachers in SMK (Senior High School) with the topic of career resilience profile, aims to determine the career resilience of SMK students which functions as an alternative support and information about the world of work. In developing resilience owned by SMK students, guidance and counseling teachers facilitate career guidance according to the needs of SMK students, and provide soft skills training in career guidance by utilizing media owned by the school, so that the goal of resilience of SMK graduates is expected to have adaptability, independence, confidence that they are capable in any work environment. With the existence of career guidance for SMK students, it is hoped that SMK graduates will have a good resilience profile, this will also have a good impact on reducing the number of unemployed in Indonesia.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling teachers or school counselors have the responsibility to provide guidance and counseling services to students. Guidance is not only given to students who have problems, every student has the right to receive guidance to improve their potential or get direction about their talents and interests. Guidance and counseling teachers or school counselors are expected to be able to provide guidance and counseling programs and services. SMK Al-asy'ariyah Losari Cirebon has one linear guidance and counseling teacher, the guidance and counseling teacher plays a very important role as a motivator, and mentor for students. In addition, guidance and counseling teachers have work programs or services that are implemented in schools well to help students complete their assignments.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services with Assertive Training techniques on students' truancy behavior. This study uses a preexperimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of the study was grade VIII students who had a habit of truancy, with a sample of 8 students taken using the Purposive Sampling technique. The instruments used were pretest and posttest which had been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using the t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the t-test calculation showed a t-count value of 1.173, while t-table with db N-1 = 7 and a significance level of 0.05 was 0.754. Based on these results, it can be concluded that group counseling services with Assertive Training techniques have a positive and significant effect on reducing students' truancy behavior. These findings are expected to contribute to improving the quality of guidance and counseling services, especially in the application of Assertive Training techniques in schools

Abstract

This study aims to measure the career adaptability of class XII Automotive students at SMK PGRI 2 Palimanan. The method used is quantitative descriptive, which aims to describe the current situation systematically and factually. Data were collected through career adaptability measurements on 79 students, which were divided into two categories: high and low. The results showed that 56 students (68.35%) had high career adaptability, while 23 students (31.65%) had low career adaptability. The highest score obtained by students was 72, and the lowest score was 45, with an average score of 57.64. This shows that the majority of students have good career adaptability. The increase in students' career adaptability is influenced by the cooperation between Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers and the head of Career Guidance (BKK) in providing an understanding of career levels and motivation. Career guidance services at SMK PGRI 2 Palimanan help students to find and determine career fields that suit them. Thus, effective career guidance services can support students' career development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the career decision-making ability of grade IX students at SMP Wahidin, Cirebon City. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with the research population being all grade IX students of SMP Wahidin, Cirebon City with Simple random sampling technique, obtained a research sample of 60 students. The instrument used is a Likert scale that has been tested for instrument validation and reliability. Based on the results of the questionnaire distribution, it is known that the level of career decision-making of grade IX students of SMP Wahidin, Cirebon City is in the low category of 41.70%, career decision-making in the medium category is 33.30%, career decision-making in the high category is 25%. In this case, it shows that BK teachers can provide group guidance services.

Abstract

The concept of self-understanding of class VII D students is still negative, in principle, class VII D students are individuals in school and need to be given guidance in the form of self-development which is individual service or group service. In accordance with the developmental age and the level of transition from childhood to early adolescence, it is known as the transitional period or transitional period. This research is motivated by the negative self-understanding attitude of students of class VII D, the importance of the appearance of adult modeling as a process of imitation that students will understand to form a positive self-understanding. The purpose of this study was to describe the concept of negative self-understanding of class VII D students at MTs Negeri 3 Cirebon. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with primary data sources for class VII D students according to the negative self-understanding concept indicators, together with 5 respondents (YM, AL, CH, AN, FR) and secondary data including class VII counseling teachers, Homeroom class VII D. The instruments used in this study were interview guides, observation guidelines, documentation guidelines. The analysis used was data triangulation technique. The results of the research that has been carried out are negative self-understanding concepts.It is known that students who have a self-concept with negative indicators are 5 out of 32 students of class VII D at MTs Negeri 3 Cirebon. Negeri 3 Cirebon in the academic year 2020/2021 tends to a negative self-understanding concept.

Abstract

The Corona Virus or Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in the world, including in Indonesia, has had a significant impact in various sectors, one of which is the education sector. With the increasing pandemic, the government has given an appeal to carry out distance learning, in order to anticipate the wider spread of the corona virus, sudden distance learning is something new for students as well as teachers, including guidance and counseling teachers. In providing guidance and counseling services to students with distance learning is a quite difficult challenge, face to face indirectly is one of the major challenge factors in the effectiveness of the provision of services provided that is optimal or not.

Abstract

It is important for broken home teenagers to have resilience to overcome their various difficulties and problems, as well as develop their welfare. This research aims to reveal the positive side of teenagers from broken home families regarding the factors that influence the formation of resilience in broken home teenagers so that they are able to survive in unpleasant conditions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method regarding the factors that develop resilience. Collection is carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The participants in this research were two teenagers from a broken home (divorce and no parental role). The research results show that the factors that influence resilience are emotional regulation, controlling impulses, optimism, ability to analyze problems, empathy, self-efficacy, and increasing positive aspects. Based on the research results, it is hoped that guidance and counseling teachers will be able to develop resilience, especially in indicators of optimism, so that they can face life's challenges better.
