Abstract

Penggunaan media LKS interaktif berbasis komputer, akan membantu peserta didik dalam pembelajaran matematika. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Interaktif berbasis Komputer dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar tentang persamaan garis singgung, fungsi naik, fungsi turun dan titik stasioner dengan jenis-jenisnya, siswa kelas X1 IPA Plus-02 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar tentang persamaan garis singgung, fungsi naik, fungsi turun dan titik stasioner dengan jenis-jenisnya, siswa kelas X1 IPA Plus-02 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA Plus-02 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang semester genap (dua) tahun pelajaran 2008/2009 sebanyak 30 orang. Dalam pelaksanaannya terdiri dari dua siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam dua kali siklus tindakan, penggunaan LKS Interaktif berbasis komputer dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X1 IPA Plus-02 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang semester genap (dua) tahun pelajaran 2008/2009. Peningkatan ini terjadi pada nilai rata-rata 6,33 pada siklus I menjadi 6,90 pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar dengan KKM yang ditetapkan 75 % juga meningkat, pada siklus I ketuntasan 73,33% menjadi 76,67 % pada siklus II. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS Interaktif pada pembelajaran matematika adalah baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini dalam pembelajaran matematika guru diharapkan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariatif, inovatif dan memanfaatkan teknologi sehingga menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Abstract

This study aims to (1) get a valid and practice prototype mathematics’ blog support for learning in senior high school, (2) see the effect of blog support for learning mathematics. That is used in this study is a developmental research that consist of conception, designing, collecting materials, assembling, trying out and distributing. Mathematics’ blog support was tried out to eleventh grade of senior high school student in SMA YPI Tunas Bangsa. The instruments for collecting data are test, observation, questioner, and document analyzing. Test is used to see students’ achievement. Observation is used to see students’ activities. Questioner is used to see students’ opinion after using mathematics’ blog support. Document analyzing is used to see opinions of expert review about validity and practically of mathematics’ blog support. The results of analysis are: (1) mathematics’ blog support which is developed has been valid and practice. Valid is based on expert review. Practice is based on one to one and small group. (2) Mathematics’ blog support which is developed has been effectivefor students’ activities and students’ achievement. DOI: 10.22342/jpm.4.2.817

Abstract

This research purposes to result teaching material of fractional summation on Indonesia Realistic Mathematic Education (PMRI) basis for class IV of SD N 23 Indralaya and find out dtudent‟s in enumerating fractional trough activity from informal to formal. The research subject of class IV SD N 23 Indralaya. Researcher used the methods: Design research ( Gravemaije, 2009) designed in 3 stages, i.e. Front – end analysis and expert review, teaching expriment and reflection, and assessment and evaluation stage. Based on front- end analysis, teaching material design on PMRI basis in the from of student book and teacher‟,s. Stage was teaching experiment carried out in class IV and observerped by 4 (four) observers, 3 obsevers observed studens aktivity and 1 (one) obsever which wasthe researcher erself observer the students and teacher activities, the result (after analyzed) was indicator 1 with the best category, indicator number 2, 3,4,5, 6, 7, and 8 student activity were seen well category, while in indecator numser 9 with poor criteria. Menwhile in the third stage was assessment or evaluatin was carried out to refer the students learning result achievement either daily evaluation or assignments. For daily evaluation result was 97,96% achievement in summsting the efrction with simelar quotation, 85,71% different quotation 65,21% student,s achiefement in summating mixed fraction and 83,67% student,s achievement in summating defferent quotation fraction with mixed mix praction.The student‟s assignment result for the first student who reached ≥ KKM was 33 students (67,30%), second assignment achievement was 38 students (77,66%), the third assignment achievement was 40 students (81,63%), and the fourth assignment reached 41 students (83,67%) which generally the assignment result was increasing. Abstract

This research purposes to result valid and practical opportunity learning equipment on reciprocal teaching in class XI SMK, to observe the effect of teaching ware on reciprocal teaching towards mathematic critical thinking skill of SMK student. The subjects of the research were the 26 students of class XI TMR 3 SMKN 3 Lubuklinggau. Data collecting methods such as: Walk through, documentation, and critical thinking test. All collected data was descriptively and quantitatively analyzed. The analysis results concluded that the researcher had resulted the product of valid and practical opportunity learning ware on reciprocal teaching basis for students of class XI SMK. It has potential effect towards student’s mathematic critical thinking skill. Based on this result, it is suggested to develop and apply learning ware on reciprocal basis for other subjects. Abstract

The research is aimed to: (1) Get the set of open-ended problems which are valid and practical about fraction number in the Junior High School. (2) Find out the potential effects of open ended problems in relation to students’achievement in solving open-ended problems at Junior High School. This research is a developmental research. The respondence of this research are 37 students of seventh grade at SMP Negeri 6 Sekayu. The instrument used for this research is test of open ended problems. All data have been collected was analysed qualitatively. The results show that: (1) This research produces open ended problem about fraction number for students of VII grade which are valid and practical. The validity was judged by validator, where the all validators state that the instrument have been valid based on the content, construct and face. The validity was also judge by validator in the small group. The practicality was shown by the result of validators, which most of students could solve the open-ended problems. (2) The prototype of open-ended problems which were developed has positive potential effect to the result of student achievement, and that is shown by the variety of students’ answers, and the average students’positive category of 2 tests were 79,8%. Abstract

This research is a descriptive research which aimed to describe students’ statistical reasoning ability of histogram data persentation material through PMRI learning in SMA Negeri 11 Palembang. This subject of this research was XII class containing 40 students. The process of teaching were suited with the principle and chraracteristic of PMRI. The teachnique of collecting the data of this research was written test which contained 4 description question then supported by interviews to obtain additional test data. Based on the result of the research, it was found that students’ statistical reasoning ability of histogram data persentation material through PMRI learning were good with these following details: 8 students were very good category; 11 students were in good category; 9 students were ini enough category, 7 students were in low category, and no student was in very low statistical reasoning ability. Indicator of statistical reasoning that had the highest appereance is organizing and reducing data which is 84,29% . While, indicator of statistical reasoning that had the lowest appereance is representing data which is 29,52%. DOI: 10.22342/jpm.13.1.5460.21-40

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of interactive learning media based on animation in learning of mathematics. This research and development consists of the initial investigation, design, construction, test, evaluation and revision, and implementation phase. This study only focused until the test, evaluation and revision phase. The results: 1) the animation-based interactive learning media expressed a very valid views of the results the average valuation of 89.05% media validator; 2) interactive learning media based on animation stated the practical results of the the average obtained from the student response sheet now reaching 87.95% gave a positive response; 3) interactive learning media based on animation effective which obtained from the percentage of the students who complete that is equal to 87.50%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive learning media based on animation appropriate to be used in mathematics learning in statistical material for 7th grade. Abstract

The quality of mathematics learning is reflected by the quality of mathematical engagement during the enacted lesson, while the enacted lesson is determined by the intended lesson. Therefore, having a well-developed lesson plan is critical to achieve learning objectives. This study aims to explored students‟ mathematical engagement based on two triangle lesson plans and their implementation to 7th graders students. The research methods was used is qualitative descriptive. This research involved one male teacher and 24 students. Students‟ mathematical engagement was analysed through the students‟ words and actions using an adapted Watson‟s analytical tool. The results of this analysis indicate that there were 24 out of 38 indicators of mathematical engagement intended in the lesson plans and this result also were aligned with students‟ mathematical engagement that occurred in the classroom. The frequency of occurrence of the indicators were varied, some aspects were relatively high, such as using prior knowledge and identifying mathematical characteristics, while some other aspects were quite low, such as clarifying and associating ideas. This study shows that the analytical tool used in the analysis allowed us to focus attention on activities that are mathematical. DOI: 10.22342/jpm.13.1.6326.55-72

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of mathematical test instruments seen from the degree of difficulty and different power problems. The instrument developed is the Higher Order Thinking test instrument. The form of this instrument is multiple choice. The sample of this research is students of SMP N 2 Jepara with Mathematics subject. Qualitative studies include material, construction and language aspects. Study quantitatively with the Classical Test Theory approach. In the technique of data analysis, the measured aspect is the validity, reliability, difficulty level, different matter and effectiveness of Distraktor. This question consists of 20 items about multiple choice which refers to taxonomy blomms. Cognitive levels within these items include C4 (evaluation), C5 (Analysis), and C6 (creating). From the results of qualitative analysis indicate that construction, language and material have high or acceptable criteria. The result of analysis with classical test theory using ITEMAN program showed result of item of 50% choice item having good criteria. DOI: 10.22342/jpm.13.1.6619.41-54

Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyze the conceptual understanding and self regulated learning in mathematics between students who got the e-learning model web centric course and learning with the power point, and to find out the appropriate e-learning design in learning math for elementary school. The subject of this study is all of the 5th grade students of Islamic Elementary School (MI) private in Jakarta, while the sample is two classes of the population. The instruments used in this study are essay, questionnaire, and observation sheet. The results showed that 1) the conceptual understanding of mathematics students who get e-learning model web centric course better than students who get the learning using power point, 2) self regulated learning of students who get e-learning model web centric course better than students who get the learning using power point, 3) e- learning design that fits in the learning of mathematics in primary schools is an e-learning design, incorporating text, images and animations as well as providing convenience for group discussion. Based on these results it can be concluded that the e-learning web-centric model of course affect the conceptual understanding of mathematics and self regulated learning elementary school students.
