Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lintasan belajar pada materi sifat-sifat segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya menggunakan konteks Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring di kelas VII. Desain pembelajaran yang digunakan terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu preliminary design, design experiment (pilot experiment dan teaching experiment), dan retrospective analysis. Dalam penelitian ini, serangkaian aktifitas pembelajaran didesain dan dikembangkan berdasarkan pendekatan PMRI. Penelitian ini melibatkan 29 orang siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Learning Trajectory (LT) yang memuat serangkaian proses pembelajaran dalam 3 aktifitas yaitu menentukan jenis-jenis segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya, hubungan panjang sisi dan besar sudut pada segitiga dan menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan sifat-sifat segitiga berdasarkan panjang sisi dan besar sudutnya. Hasil dari percobaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa konteks Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring dapat digunakan sebagai starting point pada materi segitiga di kelas VII SMP.This research aims to produce a learning trajectory on the material properties of triangles based on the side and angle using the context Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring in class VII. Instructional design used consisted of three stages: preliminary design, design experiment (pilot experiment and teaching experiment), and retrospective analysis. This study used learning activities are designed and developed based on PMRI approach. Subjects were 29 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. This research resulted Learning Trajectory (LT), which contains a series of learning processes in the three activities that determine the types of triangles based on the side and angle, relationship side lenght and angle of the triangle and resolve problems related to the properties of triangles based on side length and angle. Results of the experiments showed that the Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring could be used as a starting point by seventh grade senior high school students to learn triangle.

This study aims to generate trajectories of students in learning by using a comparison worth growing terraced paper of form informal toward formal shape. The method used in this research is the research design consisted of three stages, namely the preliminary, design experiments and retrospective analysis. In this study, a series of learning is designed and developed based on the notion of the learning process and approach PMRI. This research was conducted in SMP PGRI 1 Palembang by involving students in grade VII.2 totaling 30 students. This research produces Learning trajectory (LT), which includes three activities namely 1, activity starts from drawing two wake up the same but different size, measure each side at the wake and determine the corresponding sides to determine the ratio. Activity 2, the activity determines the relations between the two ratios to determine whether the two ratios is a comparison worth or not. Activity 3, resolve issues relating to the comparative worth of daily life-today. Results of the experiments showed that a series of learning activities that have been done to help improve students understanding of learning valued comparison.

This research is a descriptive research that aims to descrcibe studentsâ mathematical reasoning ability by metaphorical thinking approach in proportion section at grade VIIIA SMPN 1 Indralaya Utara. Data collection technique uses test and interview methods. The test instrument used is included of three reasoning ability problems. Data analysis technique is done by analysing the result of test. The interview is used for supporting the result of studentsâ test. The result of this research shows that the mathematical reasoning ability of students at grade VIIIA of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara is medium with this details: percentage of students who have mathematical reasoning ability with category excellent is , Â have mathematical reasoning ability with category good, Â have mathematical reasoning ability with category medium, Â have mathematical reasoning ability with category bad, and 0% for mathematical reasoning ability with category very bad. Indicator of mathematical reasoning ability with the highest percentage is presenting written mathematical statement with 91,41% while indicator with the lowest percentage is finding out the pattern or character of mathematical indication for making generalization with 31,25%.

This research aims to produce a TIMSS characterized math problems that are valid and reliable. The method of this research is Design Research. The sample of this study were 31 students of SMP Negeri 1 Inderalaya. The procedure of this study through the stages of Preliminary Evaluation and Formative Evaluation. Based on the results obtained 7 of TIMSS characterized with characteristics (1) using real-life contexts, (2) using characteristics of TIMSS, and (3) the type of problem-solving that problem logically and empirically valid and reliable. Valid logically be fulfilled from the results of the assessment validator, where the validator comment on the terms of the content, construct, and language. Valid empirically criteria for both internally for items validity and externally for the whole items validity. Items also expressed reliable with a high level of confidence as the test instrument through items with the analysis result reliability coefficient of 0,703.

This study was aimed at describing the studentâ learning progress on decimals addition by a set of learning activitis based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education. This research method is design research which contain three stages, namely: preliminary design, design experiment and retrospective analysis. Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) has been designed to play an important role as learning design and research instrument. HLT was tested to 30 fourth grade students. The data were collected through interview, observation, and field notes. The findings of the research showed that this instructional design could stimulate students in the introduction of one digit decimal through the result of weight measurement, the use of the model that the students make themselves (model of) to describe the measurement results at the second level, and marking the result of the measurement to the number line and continued by describing the process of decimals addition from the measurement activity to the number line in the more formal level. Furthermore at the formal level, students are able to solve the problem of the decimals addition using the correct procedure that is the place value rule.

This research used design research. It was constructing a learning trajectory through handshake context to help studentsâ understanding of the Combination concept. This research used PMRI approach. The participants of the research were the students of 10th class SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. For retrospective analysis, the data were collected from a teaching experiment in form of studentâs work, field notes, and interviews. The obtained data is a learning trajectory which is consists of 1) students do a role-play scene of the handshake activity; this activity supports studentsâ understanding that A do handshake with B is the same with B do handshake with A, which it indicates order does not matter in Combination. 2) students utilize their knowledge about factorial forms to analyze the general pattern of the Combination. 3) students solve problems related to the Combination concept to help them think about how to solve the similar problems in the daily life. The results of the study showed that the use of the handshake context can help students to understand of the Combination concept.

Mathematics can be represented by many forms such as symbolical, verbal, graphical, or tabular representations. To understand mathematics concepts is by connecting or translating all kind of mathematics representations. Therefore, mathematics teachers should facilitate students to translation all kind of mathematics representations. This article discusses the research results which investigated how mathematics teachers implement their teaching which facilitate students to translation mathematics representations. Data were collected by questionnaire, documentation, and observation. Sample of the research were 91 mathematics teachers of junior and senior high schools from some regions of South Sumatera and Bangka Belitung. The research results show that mathematics teachers have already implemented mathematics representation properly, however representations used by the teachers were not variably, which means translations between representations were not implemented yet. By comparing all mathematics representations, the symbolical representation was the most frequently used in teaching and learning. Mathematics teachers whom did not or poorly implemented mathematics representations in their teaching considered the national examination not requiring variation of the representations.

This study aimed to produce items of PISA mathematics using the context of swimming sports that was valid, practical and had potential effects of the problem on students mathematical literacy ability. The method used was designed research type development study. This method consisted of two stages, preliminary and formative evaluation. The data collection techniques used walkthrough interviews, documentation, and tests. The items were validated by four experts for the expert review and three students on one-to-one. The validity of this developed problem was seen from its compatibility with the PISA framework. Practicality seen from small group test results involved six students. The developed items were practical because they were easily understood and used by the students. The potential effects were identified based on the analysis of students answers on the field test stage. The field test was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Palembang for 31 students. The results of this study generated PISA-like problems using the context of swimming sports that were valid, practical and had potential effects on students mathematical literacy skills. In this study, the students mathematical literacy skills arose to include mathematical ability, reasoning and argumentation ability, and ability to choose strategies to solve problems
