Abstract

This study discusses Ustadz Abi Azkakia's da'wah strategy through online games with Anthony Giddens' structuration perspective. Digital da'wah, especially in the gaming community, is a new phenomenon that is interesting to study. Using the autoethnography method, this study directly observes the interactions and strategies used by Ustadz Abi in conveying Islamic messages in virtual space. The results of the study show that Ustadz Abi Azkakia utilizes religious symbols, such as peci, as well as a communication approach that is in accordance with gamer culture to build an identity as a da'wah. He consistently inserts the values of tauhid, qada and qadar, and Islamic ethics in the game. Giddens' structuration perspective explains that da'wah in online games occurs through interactions between agents (Ustadz Abi) and structures (game communities and digital platforms). Da'wah through this game is quite acceptable to most respondents. However, there are challenges in maintaining a balance between entertainment and religious messages. Some respondents see him as a relaxed and easy-to-receive figure, while others feel that the da'wah message sometimes interferes with the gaming experience. Nevertheless, Ustadz Abi has built legitimacy as a respected religious figure in the Mobile Legends community. Abstract

Interaction with technological and information developments builds communication efficiency. New media in the form of social media Instagram has become a form of mediation for the community's needs in conveying and receiving news or information. The era of industrial revolution 4.0 is building media interests which are accompanied by business and computer movements simultaneously. The Instagram account @course_net is one of many accounts that can provide access to all the interests of the 4.0 revolution era in one. Social media-based information with content related to IT and computers is packaged attractively through an information formation system with a visual communication style according to its characteristics so that it can build a new culture within the scope of Instagram accounts. The culture that is formed can be accepted by users with the ease of Instagram features for exchanging opinions and experiences. This research aims to identify the process of forming a brand identity and information system contained in the communication that occurs in the content on the @course_net Instagram account, and researchers want to know how the elements of visual communication are contained in the content. Researchers use the focus of netnography theory to analyze interactions that occur within accounts in any form. The culture of interaction on the Course Net account is part of an interaction that respects each other and accepts opinions across community circles. So that every member dares to express their opinions and arguments without any restrictions. Highlights: Communication Efficiency: @course_net uses Instagram to share IT content aligned with the Industry 4.0 era. Visual Identity: Content is attractively packaged with a distinct visual style to build brand identity. Abstract

The study aims to analyze the representation of social class in the film "Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca" using a qualitative approach and Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The research methodology adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through three main methods: (i) a comprehensive observation of the film to understand its content and nuances; (ii) documentation, where the researcher selected and highlighted images of scenes depicting the representation and social class of Kurawa and Pandawa in the series; and (iii) a literature review of various sources such as theses, journal articles, websites, the internet, and relevant books. The collected data were then analyzed using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The analysis revealed four aspects related to the signs in the film: different lifestyles, differences in attire, unconscious social class boundaries, and class identity influenced by royal lineage. Highlights: Lifestyle: The difference in lifestyle depicts the difference in social class between the Pandavas and the Kuravas. Clothing: Clothes reflect social status and class differences. Abstract

This research is an exploratory research that focuses on the marketing of goods and services traded online, or commonly called e-commerce. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Marketplace Acceptance and E- WOM on the Decision to Use the Zalora Application. The method used is quantitative with data collection through online questionnaires using Google Form. The number of respondents who filled out the questionnaire was 90 people. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed a coefficient value of 0.901 which is included in the very strong category, with an adjusted R Square value of 0.808 which means that the variability of the Decision to Use can be explained by the variables of Marketplace Acceptance and E-WOM by 80.8%. The conclusion of this study is that there is a partial or simultaneous. Highlights: Marketplace Acceptance and E-WOM explain 80.8% of Zalora app usage decisions. Strong correlation (coefficient 0.901) between variables and usage decision. Quantitative analysis based on 90 respondents using multiple linear regression. Abstract

Building a personal brand is crucial for enhancing one's visibility and establishing a good reputation. This study aims to identify the strategies employed by content creators in building Abe's personal brand on the TikTok social media platform. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data was collected using content analysis techniques on the TikTok account @abe_daily. The results of this study found that Benny has successfully built Abe's personal brand as a funny and active child while interacting with his followers. This also indicates that Benny, as Abe's father, has implemented good parenting practices, as demonstrated by Abe's development as a healthy and active toddler. Highlights: Benny successfully builds Abe's personal brand as a funny, active child. Content strategy focuses on interaction with followers to enhance engagement. Abstract

In today's era, adolescent character can be influenced by factors around them such as the surrounding environment, family and social media, namely Instagram. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family communication, environment and Instagram media on juvenile delinquency behavior. The type of research used is quantitative. To determine the effect of family communication (X1), environment (X2), Instagram (X3) on juvenile delinquency behavior (Y). The sample used in this study was 100 adolescents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The results of the study indicate that hypothesis 1 is accepted, namely that there is an influence of family communication, environment and Instagram media partially and simultaneously on juvenile delinquency behavior. Based on the Adjusted R square calculation, the results obtained were 44.3% contribution from the variables of family communication (X1), environment (X2), Instagram (X3) to juvenile delinquency behavior (Y), and the correlation value between variable X and variable Y was 0.678, which means there is a strong correlation between the dependent and independent variables Highlights: Influence of Family Communication, Environment, and Instagram: These three factors affect juvenile delinquency behavior. Quantitative Study with 100 Adolescents: Using simple random sampling. 3% Contribution and Strong Correlation: These factors contribute 44.3% and have a 0.678 correlation with delinquent behavior. Abstract

Family communication is an important element in building harmonious relationships between family members. In the digital era, technology makes daily communication and interaction easier. This study aims to understand family communication in the digital era in Sidoarjo Regency, through interviews with five respondents from various backgrounds. The results of the study show that digital technology makes it easier for families to stay connected despite being apart. Respondents revealed great benefits in maintaining family relationships through text messages, video calls, and social media, as well as sharing life moments in real-time. Nonetheless, challenges such as technical issues and privacy concerns remain. It is important for families to maintain a balance between digital and face-to-face interactions to ensure that the quality of the relationship is maintained. Technology provides convenience, but direct interaction is still important in building strong emotional bonds. Highlights: Digital technology facilitates family communication despite physical distance. Benefits include real-time sharing and maintaining relationships through text, video, and social media. Abstract

This Film is a mass media that can influence our views and beliefs, by combining audio and visual elements to convey the messages contained therein. The presence of women in the media industry is an interesting study to follow. The movie “Gadis Kretek” contains the movement of women's struggle in the kretek industry, highlighting the issue of gender inequality that is still influenced by patriarchal ideology. This research uses John Fiske's semiotic analysis method to understand the representation of women in the film, focusing on three levels: reality, representation, and ideology. The conclusion of this research shows the struggle in facing patriarchal inequality and domination in the movie “Gadis Kretek”. Inequality in the film Gadis Kretek can be seen from the limited role and space for women when managing the kretek industry and decision-making dominated by men so that patriarchal ideology emerges regarding the importance of women's awareness and empowerment in achieving their dreams in the kretek industry. Highlights: Limited Roles: Women are shown with restricted roles in the kretek industry. Patriarchal Dominance: Key decisions are controlled by men, reflecting patriarchal ideology. Abstract

This study aims to assess and analyze the quality of human resources among village officials in implementing the Village Information System (SID) program in Gemurung Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model. The findings reveal that while village officials understand SID functions, their knowledge remains suboptimal due to challenges in integrating SID with public services and less relevant educational backgrounds. Information technology mastery is low, primarily due to limited training opportunities. In terms of skills, innovation and creativity are still limited, as officials only utilize basic features of the free version. Nevertheless, SID supports fast, accurate, and efficient public services. Regarding data processing and software capabilities, village officials perform well, enabling accurate and relevant decision-making. Highlights: Limited IT Mastery: Village officials struggle with SID due to minimal training and low technological proficiency. Underutilized Features: Innovation is lacking as only basic SID features are used, limiting its full potential. Effective Data Use: Despite challenges, officials show strength in processing data for accurate decision-making. Keywords: Human Resources Quality, Village Government, Village Information System
