Abstract

Abstract This research was done based on the fact that the civics learning at schools was still teacher centered so that the students were not actively involved in the learning process. As a result, their learning outcomes were low. This research aimed at describing the improvement of students’ civics learning outcomes by using the TGT type of the cooperative learning approach at the fourth grade of SDN 01 Singkarak. The design of the research was class action research using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The total score of the students’ learning outcomes increased from 72,19% in cycle I to 83,94% in cycle II. Thus, the TGT type of the cooperative learning approach successfully improved the students’ civics learning outcomes at SDN 01 SingkarakKata Kunci : Hasil belajar, pembelajaran PKn, pendekatan kooperatif tipe TGT

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, is still in the process of improving. This causes the integrated thematic learning process to be carried out to the maximum. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan, namely cycle I obtained a percentage of 84% (good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 100% (Very Good). (2) the implementation of learning cycle I obtained a percentage of 81% (good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 97% (Very Good). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.Keywords:

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to knowing the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach on learning outcomes to determine the area of building a trapezoid and the kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of Gugus 2 Elementary School in Koto Tangah District consisting of 250 students. The sampling technique uses probability sampling and cluster random sampling technique by determining which area will be used as a sample with random to determine the experimental and control classes so that the VA class is obtained as the control group and the VB class is the experimental group. Data collection techniques in this study use tests, test hypotheses in this study using the t-test formula which is preceded by an analysis prerequisite test using normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach to learning outcomes to determine the area of trapezoid and kite of class V students of SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test with a significant level of 5% (0.05) obtained by tcount (4.10)> t table (1.67). Learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group were higher than the control group, indicated by the posttest mean obtained by the experimental group 87.25 and the posttest mean obtained by the control group by 75.3. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Know-Want to Know-Learned (KWL) strategy on student learning in understanding reading. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design.The population is all students in class IV sdn 03 Simpang Haru Padang city. The sampling technique used is totality sampling. Based on the results of hypothesis test analysis at 5% significance level obtained t count> ttable (1.96152> 1.67412). The conclusion of this research is the influence of cooperative script model to student intensive reading in Indonesian Languange.

Abstract

Purpose of this research was to describe plan, implementation, and increase of study resultspiece as ratio and scale with Problem Based Learning in fifth level elementary school. The kind of this research was Action Classroom Research with qualitative approach and quantity approach. Subjects of this research were students from fifth level in elementary scool who consist of 14 male and 9 female and also a teacher. This research was implementation on two cycle. It consist of plan, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of research indicated increase on a) Increase plan of first cycle was 76,79% up to 89,28% in second cycle, b) Implementation of teacher aspect on first cycle was 70% increased up to 90% and implementation of students aspect was 67,5% on first cycle and increased up to 90% on second cycle, c) Study result of students on first cycle was 73,30% and 81,69% on second cycle. The conclusion this research was learning  with Problem Based Learning can increased study results of piece as ratio and scale in fifth level elementary school.  Keywords: study results; piece as ratio and scale; problem based learning.

Abstract

Integrated thematic learning is integrated learning using themes that link several subjects so that learning provides meaningful experiences for students. In fact, learning outcomes in primary schools are not as expected. In connection with this problem, it is necessary to solve the problem to overcome it, one way to overcome this problem requires an appropriate learning model so that learning outcomes are optimal so that the results obtained by students can be satisfactory. One of the best models to solve this problem is the Discovery Lerning model. This study aims to provide benefits to readers in adding insight and knowledge about the application of the Discovery Learning model in the integrated thematic learning process. The type of research carried out is literature research. Based on the literature study research that researchers have done, it can be concluded that application of the Discovery learning model can provide an increase in student learning outcomes. It can be seen that learning using the Discovery Learning model, learning using the Discovery Learning model increases understanding for students so that learning outcomes in primary schools increase

Abstract

This research aim was to describe the improve of learning achievement in science study by using skill proccess approach at public elementary school in Kuamang Pasaman. This study used the classroom action research methode in two cycles study. Each cycle consisted of planning action, observation, and reflection term. The data was analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The research subject's is 30 students. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' integrated thematic learning outcomes using a contextual teaching and learning approach. Integrated thematic learning is one of learning that combines several subjects into one theme. integrated thematic learning also links learning with students' daily lives and integrated thematic learning can also make the learning process more meaningful, efficient and effective. This research method, using classroom action research methods. The research procedure is in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of three stages: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collection technique through observation and test.This data collection uses instruments in the form of observation sheets of student and teacher observations in the learning process, then to find out the quality of student learning outcomes used evaluation sheets / tests. The results of the study indicate that the use of contextual teaching and learning approaches can improve student integrated thematic learning outcomes. From an average value of73.07 in the first cycle, to 85.15 in the second cycle

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Sparkol VideoScribe software-based learning media in Theme 7 Thematic Learning at SDN 01 Koto Baru Simalanggang. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) wearing the ADDIE model of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 3 trial lecturers, 1 class III teacher and 30 class III students at SDN 01 Koto Baru Simalanggag. The results of the research show (1) audio-visual media based on Sparkol VideoScribe Software in integrated thematic learning in class III was stated to be very valid with the acquisition of media expert scores of 92.5%, material experts 88.2%, and language experts 98%, (2) teacher response The students' fan of the media trials achieved a very practical category with an average teacher response value of 92.5% and student responses of 95.83%, (3) the media was declared effective after the effectiveness test was carried out as seen from the N-Gain value, namely 0,74 with high category
