Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  Value Clarification Technique (VCT) modeling method on the studnts’ learning outcome in civic education. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research was conducted in elementary school Number 13 Cingkariang Banuhampu Sub-district of Agam District with class VA as the experimental class and Class VB as the control class. Both classes have twenty five students. The data analysis technique employed was the normality test and homogeneity test, which was then followed by a t-test to see the effect of VCT. The results show that the average pretest score is 38,768 for the experimental class and 41,488 for the control class. The average posstest score is 90,68 for the experimental class and 86,32 for the control class. The result of the t-test shows that the tcount is 1,73 and the ttable on the significance level of 0,05 is 1,6772, which means that tcount>ttable. Therefore, it is concluded that the Value Clarification Technique modeling method affects the students’ learning outcome in civic education in Elementary School Number 13 Cingkariang.  Keyword : The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Modeling Method, Students’  Learning Outcome, Civic Education.

Abstract

Integrated thematic learning outcomes in elementary school are very low, to overcome these problems an effective approach is needed. This study aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SDN Padang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study were the teacher and grade IVB students at SDN Padang City with a total of 33 people consisting of 17 men and 16 women. Data are analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study are : in cycle 1 the average implementation of learning aspects of teachers is 82,14% and aspects of students are 78,56%. In cycle II the average implementation of learning aspects of teachers is 92,85% and students aspects are 92,85%. Cycle I student learning outcomes is 73  and cycle II student learning outcomes are 93. It can be concluded that by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) models can improve integrated thematic learning outcomes in SDN Padang City.

Abstract

Based on the preliminary research and observation to the fourth grade students at SDN 01 Murni Panti in Pasaman Regency, there was the students’ outcomes was low caused most of the teachers still used conventional method in learning. So, that’s way the author would like to improve their outcomes in learning Civic Education (PKn) through the research entitled: “Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dengan MenggunakanModel Contextual Teaching Learning di Kelas IV SDN 01 murni panti kecamatan panti Kabupaten Pasaman”. The purpose of this research was to describe the students’ improvement in learning Civic Education through Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research was Classroom Action Research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research has been done in two cycles completed by the planning, action, reflection, and students’ learning outcomes. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the student’s learning outcome has been improved, it can be seen from their result both of the teacher’s activities and students’ activities, as described: in designing a lesson plann was 60.71% (cycle I) and increased to 83.93% (cycle II); the teacher’s activities was 58.33% (cycle I) and increased to 84.73% (cycle II); the students’ activities was   55.56% (cycle I) and increased to   83.34% (cycle II); while the students’ learning outcomes was 64.27 (cycle I) increased to 80.53 (cycle II). Abstract

The purpose of this research was to effect of experimental methods approach on student learnings outcomes in science  at 5th grade of elementary school in II Group Subdistrict payakumbuh of the academic year 2018/2019 with material for respiratory function. Type of this research is experiment used quasi experiment with Non-equivalent control group design. Sample of this research is students at 5th  grade elementary school 04 Taeh Baruah and students at 5th  grade elementary school 06 Taeh Baruah. Research sample is 15 students in elementary school 06 as experimental methods learning group and 15 students in elementary school 04 as conventional learning group that choosed based on purposive sampling technique. Result of research data calculation that used is t-test find thitung 1,8 > ttabel 1,7 on a 0,05 level. So, it can be concluded Ha accepted that there is influence the use of experimental methods on science learning outcomes at 5th grade of elementary school in II Group Subdistrict Payakumbuh.Keywords : Experiment Method, Learning Outcomes, Science

Abstract

The background of this study is the lack of reading comprehension. The purpose of this research in general to increase the ability to read the understanding of grade V students of SD Negeri 04Pasar Surantih Pesisir Selatan Regency with STAD model. This research is a class action research. The research subject is 23 students and researchers. The results of this study show the average value in the stage prabaca is 65.2, the current reading stage only reaches 67.9, while in the post-reading stage 79.6. It occurs in cycle II with an average grade of 83.5. Prabaca stage in cycle II is increased to 76.0, then at the second reading stage is when the reading reaches the number 84.8, pascabaca stage managed to reach an average of 89.6. From the results of this study can be concluded STAD model can improve reading comprehension skills of grade V students of SD Negeri 04 Pasar Surantih Pesisir Selatan Regency.Keywords: Reading understanding, STAD

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning models to improve mathematical problem solving skills in class IV SDN 13 Simpang Haru, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subject of this study was the fourth grade students and teachers of SDN 13 Simpang Haru. The results of the research on each cycle showed an increase. RPP cycle I 85.7% (B), cycle II 92.86% (SB). Implementation of the teacher aspect cycle I 77.05% (B), cycle II 95.8% (SB). The implementation of the student aspect in the first cycle is 77.05% (B), the second cycle is 95.8% (SB). Improvement of Mathematical Problem Solving cycle I 74.3 (C), Cycle II 86 (SB) It can be concluded that the Creatie Problem Solving (CPS) model can improve mathematical problem solving. Keywords: CPS model, learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe an integrated thematic learning process improvement to the model of problem based learning in fourth grade elementary school 15 Ampang Gadang Agam. In this study applying the type of PTK research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject in this study is the teacher (researches) and student of totaling 27 people consisting of 15 male students and 12 female students. Results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I with an average of 74.99% (enough) and cycle II 94.44% (very good), B) Implementation on the teacher aspect of cycle I with an average of 85.71% (good) and cycle II 92.85% (very good), while the implementation of the student aspect of the cycle I with an average of 83.92% (good), and cycle II 92.85% (very good), c) The assessment of the learners in the improvement of learning outcomes on the I cycle was obtained with an average of 78.75% and cycle II by an average of 89.01%. Based on the results it can be concluded that with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in grade IV.

Abstract

Research this comes from fact at the site which is at class IV. SDN at Pasaman Barat that learned result about log net and low cube caused by teacher inaccurate utilize learning approachings. Seeing phenomenon upon researcher interests to apply Konstruktivisme's Approaching. To the effect this research to increase studying result nets logs and cubes with konstruktivisme's approaching. Approaching that is utilized is kualitatif's approaching and quantitative with actions observational type braze. This observational subject student brazes IV. SDN at Pasaman Barat that total 22 childs, one that consisting of 10 males and 12 females. tech that is utilized in data collecting as observation, interview and child documentation, hereafter at o with percentage tech. Action research brazes this is done in two cycles. Observational result at each cycle has pointed out to mark sense result step-up studies student. On i. cycle average yielding learned student 64%,experiencing step-up on cycle II. 90%.Penilaian RPP . cycle which is 89%, on cycle II. 100%. Of i. Cycle teacher aspect 85%, cycle II. 100%, of i. cycle student aspect 91 % cycle II. 100%.Dengan such gets to be concluded by learning determines jarring log net by use of approaching konstruktivisme can increase Kata Kunci: hasil belajar; jaring-jaring balok dan kubus; pendekatan konstrutivisme

Abstract

The research is aimed to describe the plan , the implementation and the student’s learning outcomes in learning the social science subject by using the Example no example model at 5th grade of SDN 19 Koto Tangah Padang. The classroom-action research was conducted in the research by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the research were the teacher and 22 students of the school. The result of the research shows that; a) the lesson plan increased from 75% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II ; b) in term of teacher’s teaching aspect increased from 77% in cycle I to 95 % in cycle II; meanwhile,in the student’s  learning aspect inscreased from 75% in cycle I to 93% In cycle II; c) the student’s learning outcomes inscreased from 74,4 in cycle I to 84.1 incycle II. Thus,the use of I Example nn Example Model improves the student’s learning outcomes in learning the Social Science Subjects at 5th grade of SDN 19 Koto Tangah Padang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was carried out to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning model Number Heads Together (NHT) on the integrated thematic learning outcomes of Class IV SDN 10 Sapiran Bukittinggi city. This research is an experimental type in the form of Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class IV SD 10 Sapiran Bukittinggi city, totaling 56 students with sampling techniques using saturated samples. Data analysis techniques in this study used a prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing using t-test (independent sampling-test). Observing the results of research that has been done, obtained tcount> ttable ie, 2.84891346> 2.004879275 with α = 0.05 which means Ha is accepted. The average student learning outcomes measured by posttest after learning, namely the experimental class 78.71 and the control class 70.05. So Ha accepted that there is a significant influence on the use of cooperative learning model number heads together (NHT) on the integrated thematic learning outcomes of Grade IV students of SDN 10 Sapiran, Bukittinggi.
