Abstract

This research is a scientific study of the life of a prominent scholar of tafsir in the modern era and his method of interpreting the virtues of tafsir. In it, the researcher discusses the life of Al-Qasimi, his works, his sheikhs, and his writings. The researcher reveals the author's method of interpretation that relies on what is narrated from the Qur'an and Sunnah and the sayings of the prophets. Companions and Followers, and the tendency of his interpretation. The researcher answers this problem with research, analysis, and criticism, showing the positive side of the approach, which is large, and mentioning his observations on Al-Qasimi's approach, which is small. His tafsir contains a lot of science and knowledge, from which everyone who reads and reads it will benefit

Abstract

One of the greatness and perfection of Islamic law is that it bases its sources and laws on two important sources, namely the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, who said in the noble hadith (Indeed I have been given the Qur'an and the like thereof), as well as everything we receive in the form of sayings, practices, characteristics, and messages of the Messenger of Allah SAW. Allah SWT, including the Noble Hadith of the Prophet. This valuable prophetic heritage that we receive is a source of Islamic law and guidance. One of the most reliable things in dividing the hadiths into several types is by relying on the chain of transmission and its text, namely the chain of narrators who convey the noble hadiths to us based on the extent of their piety, faith, closeness to them. The Messenger of Allah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and giving him peace, and the extent of their obedience to him. Among the types of hadith are the following: authentic hadith, authentic hadith of other people, weak hadith, and authentic hadith. Through this research, the researcher will clarify all of these things in a simple way until the differences between each become clear.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning of the characteristics of Islamic society in the perspective of the Al-Qur'an Karim. The research method used is a qualitative library approach. The source of research data is based on the book of interpretation of the Al-Qur'an, hadith, journal articles and books related to the research theme. The conclusion of the study is that Islam is a solution-oriented religion and its adherents are a community that has a strong grip, namely faith, civilization, balance and non-apartheid. This community is truly able to maintain a good life, full of peace and tranquility, guarantee the welfare of its members, and even provide happiness in two places, the world and the hereafter. This short article contributes a little in explaining the characteristics of Islamic society as described in the Al-Qur'an and has been practiced by the Prophet and his companions in the early days and then developed to the Arabian peninsula and its surroundings that to all corners of the world.

Abstract

The tarbiyah movement is a well-organized action or activity in the field of education with the main objective of educating Muslims by creating various formal and non-formal programs, small or large scope. Indonesia as one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, has many Islamic organizations built by Muslim scholars and scholars who are always competing in developing tarbiyah in Indonesia, one of which is the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Council (DDII) or also called the Da'wah Council. Dr. Mohammad Natsir as one of the founders of the Da'wah Council in 1967 AD as well as being the first chairman, has always been committed to continuing to foster and educate the ummah not through politics but through da'wah and tarbiyah with its 3 main pillars being mosques, campuses and pesantren. Therefore, the development of Dewan Da'wah's tarbiyah movement is considered important to be discussed in scientific writing. The method of writing this study is qualitative and the theories and information are taken from scientific sources such as books and journals. This study concludes that the role of the Da'wah Council through the Tarbiyah movement in Indonesia is very important because it has built many educational institutions and has given birth to many ulama, da'i, Muslim scholars and national figures who are now felt by many layers of Indonesian society in various regions.

Abstract

This short paper aims to find a form of ethnographic research design. The focus of the discussion is on types of research, research subjects, types of data, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis techniques. The method used in this study is library research. So that all research data is only based on library data, for example journals, books, research results, and relevant websites. The conclusion of this study is that ethnography as a qualitative research method has experienced developments, for example the emergence of audience ethnography, digital ethnography, visual ethnography and others. With this development, ethnographic research designs can be formed and developed according to the research context that will be made by a researcher. Ethnography is research that can be used in various scientific disciplines such as economics, education, politics, communication, etc.

Abstract

This study aims to find the most effective PR strategy in improving the positive image of the Social Service, P3A Kudus Regency. The research method used is qualitative, producing descriptive data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data checking using triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that the PR targets of the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Kudus Regency were divided into two categories: main targets and specific targets. The main targets include the entire Kudus community, while the specific targets are vulnerable communities, namely those who need assistance from the Social Service and who have limited access to information. The Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Kudus Regency builds a positive image through two approaches: direct and indirect. The indirect approach is carried out by utilizing social media as a tool for disseminating information, both through websites and Instagram. While the direct approach involves Social Service staff in carrying out programs in the community, including socialization, community services, and granting rights and obligations to residents.

Abstract

This study analyzes the streaming series film script Saiyo Sakato written by Gina S. Noer. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a structural approach. This comedy drama set in the intrigue of two families united by Padang cuisine raises the issue of patriarchal culture, especially the issue of polygamy which is spiced with various things that are very attached to everyday life. By analyzing intrinsic elements such as theme, character, plot, setting, language style, and message, it was found that the main characters, Uni Mar, Nita, and Annisa, face an inner dilemma between hope and reality and personal achievement or desire and pressure from patriarchal culture in their families. The storyline tells their emotional and mental journey in adjusting to the presence of a new person in their family. This study emphasizes the intrinsic elements contained in the Saiyo Sakato drama script. The structural method helps explain the elements in the drama script, providing a deeper understanding of the meaning and message of this literary work.

Abstract

The discussion regarding the location of the paradise where Prophet Adam and Eve resided has long been a subject of debate among scholars. This article analyzes the majority opinion of scholars, which asserts that the paradise in question is the Eternal Paradise in the hereafter, as well as the minority view that considers it to be located on earth. This study employs an analytical approach to the evidence found in the Qur'an, hadith, and the perspectives of classical and contemporary scholars. The findings indicate that the majority opinion is stronger, based on clear and authentic arguments.

Abstract

This research aims to interpret what the benefits of fasting are in controlling lust and increasing the role of reason and religion of human beings. Because fasting not only refrains from eating and drinking all day, but is an important pillar in the formation of a society with noble and superior character. This research method is qualitative by collecting primary and secondary data sourced from literature, namely the Qur'an, books of tafsir, hadith, Sirah Nabawiyah, journals, and research published online. The conclusion of the study is that with fasting, human passions will be controlled, their minds will strengthen and develop and the values of faith in their souls will be stronger.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the framing of news coverage by FOX and Al Jazeera regarding the deaths of six Israeli hostages in Gaza, Palestine. The conflict between Israel and Palestine erupted on October 7, 2023, with Hamas naming their operation Tofan Al Aqsha. Al Aqsha refers to the third holiest mosque in Islam, located in Palestine, following Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Israel seized Palestinian territories through the Nakba massacre and violated UN Resolution No. 181 of 1947. Israel's prolonged oppression of Palestinians triggered resistance led by the Hamas movement. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with Zongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicky's framing analysis, encompassing syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical elements. The findings indicate that FOX emphasizes Hamas's brutality, portraying them as terrorists and framing Israel as a party fighting for justice. Conversely, Al Jazeera highlights the suffering of Palestinians caused by Israeli policies, presenting a broader and more contextual perspective. Both media outlets frame the conflict based on their respective viewpoints and interests.
