Abstract

ICT-based learning media is urgently needed to increase student motivation in learning, especially learning mathematics in flat material. The learning media used is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality is defined as a technology that combines the real world with the virtual world, is interactive in real time, and is in the form of three-dimensional animation. This type of research is research design research type validation study qualitatively. Students' interest in learning that utilizes technology directly can be seen from their enthusiasm when explained about the barcode which contains augmented reality in the form of the Musi 6 Palembang bridge. Based on the research process that was carried out both during the pilot experiment and teaching experiment, the researchers saw that the enthusiasm of the students was not much different. In addition to increasing the enthusiasm of students, it turns out that there is a barcode containing augmented reality in the form of the Palembang 6 musi bridge about the activities students will be working on, which also helps students understand what they are doing. With the help of explanations from these videos the teacher makes it easier and saves more time because students are not confused when carrying out the activities given

Abstract

The discovery learning learning strategy is one of the determining aspects in chemistry learning. Chemistry learning at the MA Laboratory is still student-centered. Models and strategies must be collaborative. The research results reveal that the use of the discovery learning model can improve students' thinking skills. The use of the discovery learning model in the learning process for students who have higher intelligence and already have previous knowledge achieve success more quickly with a minimum error of 25.1923%. The use of the discovery learning model for students who have lower intelligence and do not have the prerequisite knowledge can only be done for explanations in understanding concepts, by taking notes, providing guidance in doing exercises and can minimize student errors to a maximum of 28.0385%. The discovery learning model can improve students' thinking skills.

Abstract

Humans are individuals who experience changes in adaptation from students to students with different learning systems. Each adaptation experienced by students will differ fromone individual to another. The purpose of this study is to find out the habits of mathematical thinking of students in mathematics education study program from one of the State University in Palembang. Respondents of this study were 50 students of the mathematics education study program at the state university. This study uses quantitative approachs. The design used is survey research. Survey was conducted by using closed questionnaire. The questionnaire consist of 32 statements regarding the habit of mathematical thinking in learning mathematics. The results of this study indicated that students are in the good category as much as 68.43%. For the indicators of flexible thinking and metacognitive thinking, each has a percentage score of 69.90% and 71.36%, all of which are in the good category. Meanwhile, thinking and communicating clearly and precisely has a percentage score of 63.6% in the sufficient category. It is hoped that further research will use the habit of mathematical thinking as a learning strategy to provide innovation in learning mathematics so that it has a positive effect on students to develop and improve the habits of mathematical thinking in learning mathematics

Abstract

The takrir method serves as a means for information entering short-term memory to transfer directly into long-term memory, achieved through repetition (rehearsal or takrir). This research aimed to enhance students' memorization of the al-qur'an in al-qur'an hadith subjects. The research employed a classroom action research approach involving 20 students of XII IPS at Madrasah Aliyah Labor Jambi. It encompassed 3 stages: pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. The research findings indicated improved student learning outcomes: Initially, only 5 out of 20 students (25%) completed the task. After implementing the assessment method in cycle I, 15 students (75%) successfully completed it. In cycle II, following further improvements, 19 students (95%) successfully completed it, demonstrating a significant enhancement from the previous state.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the extent to which confiscation of cellphones during teaching and learning (KBM) affects the teaching and learning process at MAN 1 Jember. This research uses a quantitative approach with a comparative causal research type and collects data through questionnaires designed for subject teachers and homeroom teachers. The results of this correlation analysis show that there is a strong and significant relationship between the cellphone confiscation policy variable and the KBM orderly variable. These findings provide empirical evidence that the instruments used are valid and reliable in measuring the constructs studied. Based on the results of the t test, the calculated t value for the Orderly Learning Process variable is 7.714, with a significance value (Sig.) of less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the cellphone confiscation policy variable has a positive and significant influence on the creation of the teaching and learning process. This means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be stated that the cellphone confiscation policy has an influence in creating an orderly KBM process.
