Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how multicultural leadership, teachers' multicultural competence, and students' multicultural competence affect the academic performance of students in Muara Jambi high schools. This research uses quantitative methods and uses a questionnaire as an instrument to collect data from students in Muara Jambi high schools. The Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) method was used to analyze and evaluate the cause-and-effect relationship between independent variables and dependent variables. The research sample consisted of 192 student respondents from Muara Jambi High School. The four variables studied in this study are multicultural leadership, teacher multicultural competence, student multicultural competence, and student academic performance. The results showed that there was a significant influence of multicultural leadership, teachers' multicultural competence, and students' multicultural competence on students' academic performance. And for the results of the p-values themselves, namely H1 the effect of multicultural leadership on student academic performance has a value of 0.007 from this value, hypothesis one is influential or supported. For H2, the effect of multicultural competence of teachers on student academic performance has a value of 0.000 from this value, this second hypothesis is influential or supported. And finally H3 the effect of students' multicultural competence on students' academic performance has a value of 0.000 from this value this third hypothesis is influential or supported. Therefore, in this study, all variables greatly affect the academic performance of students at Muara Jambi High School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Kampus Mengajar dan Guru di SMP Negeri 24 Kota Jambi. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan untuk keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Implementasi Program Kampus Mengajar mampu meningkatkan kompetensi literasi baca tulis dan literasi numerasi siswa. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan, mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar telah melaksanakan program-program yang telah dirancang secara maksimal, seperti penguatan 15 menit membaca, pembelajaran berbasis kuis, dan pelatihan soal literasi dan numerasi. (2) Faktor pendukung Program Kampus Mengajar memberikan dampak positif pada kompetensi literasi baca tulis dan literasi numerasi siswa, faktor pendukungnya seperti adanya motivasi intrinsic, diskusi bersama dan memberikan pembelajaran yang menarik. (3) Faktor penghambat Program Kampus Mengajar dapat memberikan dampak positif pada kompetensi literasi baca tulis dan literasi numerasi siswa, faktor penghambatnya seperti rendahnya minat belajar siswa dan masih kurangnya fasilitas penunjang pembelajaran literasi dan numerasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompensasi, komitmen organisasional, kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini di lakukan pada tenaga pendidik di SIT Nurul ‘Ilmi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif dan sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner dengan menggunakan link google form. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling yaitu berjumlah 221 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan questioner dan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan analisis SEM partial Least Square serta uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji mediasi menurut Baron dan Kenny (1986). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa: kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, kompensasi berpengarug signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, komitmen organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, variabel motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan dalam memediasi kompensasi, komitmen organisasional dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja pegawai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sejauh mana implementasi kebijakan sertifikasi ini berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru yang ada di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, dan menjelaskan apa saja peran sertifikasi ini dalam meningkatkan profesionalitas guru sehingga dapat djadikan bahan informasi dan pertimbangan bagi pembuat kebijakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Sebagai partisipan atau informan dari penelitian ini yaitu Wakil kepala sekolah, tim supervisi sekolah, guru yang sudah bersertifikasi dan peserta didik. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan implementasi kebijakan sertifikasi sudah berjalan dengan baik, hal ini dibuktikannya setiap guru yang bersertifikasi sudah memiliki empat kompetensi dasar yang harus dimiliki guru yang didapat dari pendidikan profesi, diantaranya yaitu Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kepribadian, Profesional dan Sosial. Kemudian terkait dengan peran sertifikasi guru dalam profesionalitas guru  yang telah dirasakan guru disekolah tersebut bahwa dengan adanya sertifikasi guru merasakan kesejahteraan sosialnya meningkat, guru diberi kesempatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi namun hal lain yang belum dirasakan secara maksimal terkait peran sertifikasi ini yaitu, guru belum merasakan secara maksimal dalam pemanfaatan sarana prasarana yang belum lengkap di Sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum pada Sekolah Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama (SPK) di SD High Scope Indonesia Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan tiga metode yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang menitik beratkan sumber data melalui informan yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan Staf tenaga administrasi yang digunakan untuk menguatkan keabsahan data yang diperoleh. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah Manajemen Kurrikulum dan kendala yang timbul sekolah SPK di SD High Scope Indonesia Kota Palembang. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana kurikulum sekolah SPK ini telah menerapkan manajemen kurikulum yang sesuai dimulai dengan tahap perencanan, pengembangan, pelaksanaan, dan juga evaluasi. Dari pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum ini juga muncul kendala dalam proses penerapannya seperti integrasi antara kurikulum standar nasional pendidikan dan kurikulum High Scope, serta ketersediaan bahan ajar dan sarana prasarana yang belum memenuhi penunjang selama kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Strategic management is very important in managing an organization, because it can differentiate how well an organization achieves its performance, can face all forms of change and every decision provides benefits for various forms and types of profit-oriented organizations, government institutions, health and other organizations. other non-profits. Strategy is a process of implementing planning to achieve the organization's long-term goals by involving various existing resources. The Strategic Management course is a course designed to provide students with an understanding so they can implement a series of managerial decisions and actions in determining company performance in the long term. After students complete this strategic management course, students are expected to understand strategic management in terms of environmental observation, strategy formulation (strategic planning or long-term planning), strategy implementation, and evaluation/control. In addition, students are able to consider the implications of organizational strategy for the entire human resource system in the organization by translating organizational goals into specific resource management systems.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategies carried out by Vocational School Principals Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi in increasing teacher productivity at the school. Study This will be held in June 2024, at SMK Negeri 1 Muaro Regency Jambi Jambi Province. In In this research, the author uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely the author goes directly into the field. In deciding In the sample, there are two techniques for determining informants, namely the Nonprobability Sampling technique, namely consists of Snowball Sampling and Purposive Sampling. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the strategy carried out by the Head of Vocational Schools Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi has been carried out to increase teacher productivity in schools the. Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership of the principal in improving the professional competence of teachers at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi and the efforts he must make. This research uses qualitative methods. The subjects are principals and teachers. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the principal's efforts in improving teacher professional competence are facilitating teachers in carrying out self-development activities or improving their competencies, sending teachers to participate in competency improvement activities carried out outside of school and motivating and facilitating teachers to take part in Teacher Professional Education.

Abstract

Education is currently a big challenge that cannot be ignored by any institution, including schools. SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City is one of the schools facing this challenge. In addition to ensuring sustainability, schools must also rethink their leadership approaches to align with national education goals and foster cohesive and unified teams of educators. Addressing these challenges requires thoughtful interventions from all angles. A leadership approach that encourages inclusiveness for all staff members is essential in fostering a strong sense of teamwork among teachers. Therefore, this research aims to explore the role of collaborative leadership in creating a cohesive team that can meet community expectations. Using a qualitative methodology with a focus on literature reviews, this research will examine how the collaborative leadership style of school principals contributes to the development of collaborative teams.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of principal leadership on the development of teachers' social competence in 4 state junior high schools in Jambi City. Teachers' social competence is a crucial factor that plays a role in increasing the effectiveness of teaching and interactions with students. Through an empirical study approach, this research analyzes how the principal's leadership style can influence and develop teachers' social abilities, including communication, cooperation and interpersonal relationships in the school environment.
