Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar pada sub konsep psikotropika di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas XII MIA 1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 36 siswa dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa tes, tes yang digunakan berupa tes essay dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 14 soal untuk mengetahui berpikir kritis dan tes pilihan ganda (multiple choice) dengan jumlah soal 27 untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan uji korelasi dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Pada penelitian ini terdapat korelasi yang positif antara berpikir kritis dengan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,364 < 0,05 dan juga ditemukan nilai f hitung sebesar 0,847 dan signifikasi sebesar 0,364 > 0.05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa berpikir kritis mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik pada sub konsep psikotropika sebesar 24 %.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain comparative increase in the creativity of the students who get a guided inquiry learning with students getting conventional learning. The method used is a quasi experiment conducted on students in one elementary school in Indramayu, West Java province with a number of 32 students. The research data was collected through a written test (posttest), observation, and questionnaire responses of teachers and students on the use of virtual simulation media in guided inquiry learning. Learning model inquiry guided to a class experiment, which lasted for three meetings, and begins with the initial tests and ends with a final test showed that there were differences in the ability of the creativity of students in both classes with a mean final test students' creativity 83.64 for an experimental class and the average class before 53.54 , Conclusions drawn based on the results of data processing and analysis using statistical Mc Nemar: 6.604, to the achievement of creative abilities of students obtained results that increase the ability of creativity of students in the experimental class with previous classes differ significantly. So that the application of guided inquiry learning model with the approach of inquiry on the subject of breathing in humans can be further increased kankarakter creativity and student learning outcomes compared with conventional learning. Most of the students are motivated to take an active role in the learning process, and wants Application of IT-based guided inquiry models that could be applied to other biological materials. Abstract

Learning assessment which is usually used has not facilitated the developing of cognitive structure and critical thinking in problem solving. It gives an effect to the learning result which is not satisfied yet. One of the assessment which develops the meaningful learning is map concept. The aim of the research is to analysis accomplished learning, map concept quality which is arranged by the students, the developing of cognitive structure and critical thinking, the relationship between map concept quality which is arranged by the students and the developing of cognitive structure and critical thinking. The research is a quasi experiment with Randomized Pretest Post Test Control Group Design. The research population is all the 9th grader students in SMPN 1 Karangkancana Kuningan in academic year 2015/2016. The number of the students is 116. The sample of the research is taken by Simple Random Technique, 58 students. The achievement of research result is (1) The accomplished of learning  is categorized “good”, every stage of learning in accordance with the planning but still found obstacles. (2) The map quality concept which is categorized “fair” and “bad”, and no category of  “high “ , which is designed learning has not been able to facilitate students in the achievement of the four components of the concept maps perfectly. (3) There is a significant progress in structure cognitive and students critical thinking is categorized “fair”, students are not familiar with the of learning that develops the cognitive structure and critical thinking. (4) There is a positive correlation between map concept quality and students critical thinking which is categorized “strong”,  and there is linearity unidirectional nature, every increase in the quality of concept maps followed by an increase in critical thinking. (5) The student positive is categorized “almost all”, students are very enthusiastic and very active in learning activities. It can be concluded that map concept assessment can develop cognitive structure and students critical thinking, also, there is a significant relationship between map quality concept and students critical thinkingKeywords : Concept Map Assessment; Cognitive Structure; Critical Thinking;Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Implikasi gaya berpikir dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif berbantuan media informasi dan komunikasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ekosistem. (2) Implikasi interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif berbantuan media informasi dan komunikasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ekosistem. (3) Implikasi gaya berpikir dan interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media informasi dan komunikasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi Ekosistem. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X program IPA SMA Negeri 1 Ciwaru Kabupaten Kuningan. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random ( random sampling) terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X IPA 1 dan X IPA 2. Kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 30 siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jig saw berbantuan media informasi dan komunikasi, dan kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol terdiri dari 30 siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan non tes. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Anova dua jalur (univariat). Pada penelitian ini pengujian hipotesis menggunakan bantuan software SPSS Versi 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Gaya berpikir dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tidak berimplikasi secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 2) Interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tidak berimplikasi secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. 3) Gaya berpikir secara bersamaan dengan Interaksi sosial siswa tidak berimplikasi secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswaKeywords: Gaya Berpikir; Interaksi Sosial; Model Kooperatif; Media Informasi Komunikasi; Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi sains dan kreativitas siswa  dalam memecahkan  masalah  yang merupakan  hasil proses pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa dan menekankan pada kemampuan  siswa  untuk mencari  pengetahuan  atau pengalaman  belajar  adalah Siklus Belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment)  dengan  desain  pretest  and posttest  control  group design.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTsN Darma Kabupaten Kuningan dan sampel diambil dengan menggunakan dua kelas dengan teknik simple random sampling.  Kelompok  eksperimen  diberi  perlakuan  model  pembelajaran  siklus belajar,   sedangkan   kelompok  kontrol  menggunakan   pembelajarannya   secara konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, tes literasi sains, lembar  kerja  kreativitas  siswa,  dan  angket  respon  siswa.  Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian dan analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata N-gain literasi sains sebesar 0,276 untuk kelas kontrol termasuk kategori rendah dan 0,439 untuk kelas eksperimen termasuk kategori sedang.   Sedangkan rata-rata N-gain  kreativitas  siswa dalam memecahkan masalah sebesar 0,547 untuk kelas kontrol termasuk kategori sedang dan  0,695  untuk  kelas  eksperimen  termasuk  kategori  sedang.  Hasil  pengujian hipotesis literasi sains dengan menggunakan uji Paired Samples t Test, diperoleh thitung   =  13,397   kelas   eksperimen   >   thitung   =  8,966   kelas   kontrol,   hal  ini menunjukkan  bahwa  literasi  sains  siswa  dengan  menggunakan  model  siklus belajar  lebih  baik  daripada  penggunaan  model  konvensional.  Sedangkan  hasil perhitungan kreativitas siswa diperoleh thitung = 41,869 kelas eksperimen > thitung = 23,370   kelas  kontrol,   hal  ini  menunjukkan   bahwa   kreativitas   siswa  dalam memecahkan  masalah  menggunakan  model  siklus  belajar  lebih  baik  daripada penggunaan model secara konvensionalKeywords: Siklus Belajar; Literasi Sains; Kreativitas Siswa

Abstract

Target of this research is to explain influence model study of Inquiry to increase  Skill Of Critical thinking, Understanding of Concept and of Psikomotor Student. Research method the used [is] Mixed Methods Research with desain the used [is] Control post-test pre-test group, namely perceive two selected group. Research Subyek [is] class student of X SMK, while research sampel [is] class student of X counted 71 student ( 2 class). Research instrument in the form of tes ability of critical thinking,understanding of conception and student psikomotor. Before instrument used to be test-drive to know validity, realibilitas, mount distinguishing energy and difficulty, except making of mask [do] not  [to] test-drive. Data collecting [pass/through] pre of tes and of pasca tes. Data analysis [done/conducted] with descriptive analysis and to test hypothesis  [to] test independent t. Before test of statistic, beforehand  [to] test assumption in the form of homogeneity and normalitas. Pursuant to data analysis and solution obtained. : ( 1)Applying of  model study of Inquiry have an effect on to uplifting of skill of critical thinking, understanding of concept and psikomotor [at] cell items [in] class of x SMK. Study executed [in] higher experiment class 27% compared to class of control. Result of improvement ( Gain) of[is understanding of experiment class student concept 0,3 [is] higher the than from class of control. Result of improvement ( Gain) skill of critical thinking [of] experiment class student 0,11 [is] higher the than class of control. : ( 2)Applying of model study of praktikum base on Inquiry can improve the understanding of student concept [at] cell items [in] class of X SMK. . Abstract

The study of X grade biology in high school shows that teachers have not utilized the school environment such as school garden and school field as a medium of learning. School environments are potentially exploited for learning on biodiversity materials, because school environments have a lot of plant diversity in both gene, species and ecosystem levels, as well as the students' science literacy skills are still low that affect student learning outcomes. Therefore overcome these problems one of them is by applying the learning that can cover the science not only from the side of theory, but from the application also is the learning of CTL combined with the utilization of school environmental media. The purpose of this study is to increase the ability of science literacy and to know the improvement of students' cognitive achievement after using CTL learning through the utilization of school environment media on the material of plant biodiversity. The research design used was pre test-post test control group design. In this research design there are two groups selected by purposive sampling, that is group of X grade MIPA-2 as experiment class and  X grade MIPA-1 as control class. Based on the results of research and data analysis, the average gain of science literacy is 0.63 point for the control class seen as the medium category and the average gain for the experimental class is 0.80 point seen as the high category. It means that CTL program through school media environment gives an improfement to science literacy of student, While the average of gain students' cognitive achievement score is  0.29 point for control class see as low category and 0,68 for experiment class seen as medium category. It means that CTL program through school media environment gives an improvment to student’s cognitive achievement. The result of hypothesis testing on posttest data of science literacy, t count > t table (8,829 > 2.015) there is significant difference of posttest value between experiment class and control class. Whereas in posttes data of learning result t value > t table (8,763 > 2.015) there is difference significantly mean posttes value, between experiment class and control class. Observation result of CTL learning implementation through utilization of school environment media can be done very well, at inquiry stage with percentage of 88%, community learning stage 87%, questioning stage 87%, real assessment stage 88%. Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of lab activities based Vee diagram to bring out students metacognitive skill and increasing students' learning achievement to the excretory system. Quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design was conducted to the classes. Lab activities based Vee diagram was implemented to the experimental class and lab activities based guided inquiry was implemented to the control class. The sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data of the research was obtained from student’ worksheet that applying metacognitive strategies and the result of  pre test and post test. Metacognitive skills of experimental class is higher than the control class. Based on analysis, metacognitive skills of experimental class was 75.0 and metacognitive skill of control class was 67.8. Learning achievement of experimental class is higher than control class. The results of the test showed an increasing (N gain) of learning achievement experimental class was 0.53 and control class was 0.41. T test showed t count > t table, which means that there are significant differences between pre-test and post test. Correlation test results showed the corellation between metacognitive skills and learning achievement is very high at 96.7%Keywords: Vee diagram; Guided inquiry; Metacognitive skill; Learning achievement

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of creativity and student learning outcomes that are the result of the learning process. Changes in the learning process of teaching paradigm centered on the teacher becomes a student-centered teaching paradigm. One model student-centered learning and the emphasis on the student's ability to acquire knowledge or experience of learning is learning Inquiry-Based Laboratory. The method used is the method mix (mixed methods) with the design of pretest and posttest control group design. The population of this research is the seven graders students of SMPN Darma Kabupaten Kuningan  and while the sample was taken from one school by using two classes as the simple random sampling. The experimental group was treatment by using the Inquiry-Based Learning Laboratory, while the control group using conventional learning. The instruments used are observation sheets, worksheets student creativity, achievement test, and the student questionnaire responses. Based on the research and analysis of data, obtained an average N-gain creativity of the students of 0,706 for the control class were high and 0,780 for class experiments were high. While the average N-gain creativity of the students of 0,498 for the control class medium category and 0,633 for the experimental class medium category. The results of hypothesis testing students' creativity by using the Wilcoxon test, obtained the experimental class zhitung = 5,202 >  zhitung = 4,905 grade control, it indicates that the creativity of the students using inquiry-based learning Laboratory better than use of conventional models. While the calculation result of student learning outcomes by using Paired Samples t Test, obtained  t hitung = 16.029 experimental class > thitung = 14.627 control class, it shows that student learning outcomes in material processing of domestic wastewater using learning Inquiry-Based Laboratory better than the use of conventional modelsKeywords: Inquiry Based Laboratory; Creativity Student; Student Results

Abstract

Paradigma pendidikan sains sudah mengalami perkembangan dalam proses pembelajaran salah satunya kemampuan penalaran dan keterampilan berargumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran dan kualitas argumentasi siswa pada konsep sistem pencernaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasi eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara umum siswa pada kelas eksperimen memiliki kemampuan penalaran dan kualitas argumentasi memiliki korelasi positif yaitu 0,614. Sebagian besar kualitas argumentasi siswa memiliki rata- rata skor 1,37 yang berarti kualitas argumentasi siswa berada pada level 1 sampai dengan 2, hal ini disebabkan karena siswa hanya dapat memecahkan masalah dasar dan belum dapat mengemukakan argumentasi yang baik secara tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pembelajaran Blended Learning berbasis PBL dapat melatih kemampuan penalaran siswa pada indikator seeing analogy, qualification, structure analysis, dan classification namun belum dapat mengemukakan argumentasi yang baik secara tertulisKeywords: Blended Learning; PBL; Penalaran; Argumentasi
