Abstract

This research is entitled Developing Lapbook Media Based on Recycled Materials, Material for Changes in the Form of Objects for Class IV Students at UPT SDN 115 Lanosi, Burau District, East Luwu Regency. This research aims to determine the analysis of the needs for developing lapbook media, knowing the process of developing lapbook media, knowing the validity, and knowing the practicality of using lapbook media based on recycled materials, materials that change the shape of objects in Class IV students at UPT SDN 115 Lanosi, Burau District, East Luwu Regency. This research uses a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The object of this research is laptop media based on recycled materials that change the shape of objects. Meanwhile, the subjects were teachers and students of class IV UPT SDN 115 Lanosi, totaling 22 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and giving questionnaires to educators and students. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the research show that from the results of the needs analysis in ongoing learning new innovations are needed regarding learning media in the form of lapbook media based on recycled materials on material that changes the shape of objects. And for the validity of the lapbook media, it was validated by 2 experts, namely media experts with a score of 94% (very valid category), and material experts with a score of 94% (very valid category), the average percentage of scores from the two validators was 94% ( very valid category). For the practicality test, the results obtained from students were 98% and from educators it was 95%. This research produces a laptop media product that meets the criteria of being very valid and very practical so it is suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) To determine the needs analysis of digital literacy-based learning media in grade V SDN 34 Bara Palopo City. (2) To describe the process of developing digital-based learning media for reading comprehension learning on theme 6 in grade V SDN 34 Bara Palopo City. (3) To determine the feasibility and practicality of digital-based learning media for reading comprehension learning on theme 6 in grade V SDN 34 Bara Palopo City. The research conducted was of the R&D (Research and Development) type with the 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and questionnaires to educators and students. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. This research produces digital literacy-based learning media in the form of digital storybooks and can be accessed using smartphones and laptops / PCs. validated by 3 experts, namely linguists with a value of 91% (very valid category), material experts with a value of 92% (very valid category), and media experts with a value of 86% (very valid category).For the practicality test, the results obtained from students were 84.43% and from educators were 100%, both of which met the very practical category. This shows that the product developed has a high level of validity, so the product developed by the researcher is suitable for learning activities at school. Researchers hope that the products developed can be used as alternative media used by teachers and students with the help of smartphones and laptops / PCs related to reading comprehension learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the habituation of reading and writing literacy in elementary schools, focusing on the implementation process, challenges, and solutions. The research is qualitative in nature, employing a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the interactive analysis technique based on the theory of Miles and Huberman. The subjects of this research are fifth-grade students and their homeroom teachers at SD 46 Matarin, Bastem District. Findings reveal that the implementation of reading and writing literacy habituation in Indonesian language learning at the elementary level aligns with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. The obstacles encountered include students' lack of interest in reading and concentration, insufficient support from the family environment, and limited facilities and resources. Solutions proposed include providing a variety of reading materials, engaging parents, and personalized approaches by teachers to students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ability of narrative writing skills through serial image media assisted by montage techniques. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of class V at SDN 5 Salamae, Palopo City. Based on the research results, it was found that the increase in writing skills in the pre-cycle was 47.30%, the results of learning to write narratives using serial image media assisted by montage techniques showed an increase from an average value of 65.96% in cycle I to 76.38% in cycle II. . Based on these results, serial image media assisted by montage techniques is recommended for learning narrative writing skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the narrative writing skills of fourth grade students at MI Datok Sulaiman Palopo City using the Mystery Envelope (AMIS) media. The research was conducted in two cycles with steps of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that AMIS was effective in improving students' narrative writing skills. In cycle I, the average score of students' writing skills reached 73.8, with 77% of students achieving the learning objectives. In cycle II, the average score increased to 82.10, with all students achieving the learning objectives. Observation showed significant improvement in students' attendance, enthusiasm, and active participation. Student attendance in learning was excellent with an average score of 97.92, and student enthusiasm reached an average score of 84.17. Students' activeness in asking questions, answering questions, and expressing opinions also increased significantly. The use of AMIS created a more interactive and fun learning environment, with student engagement scores reaching 4 out of 4 and interaction and cooperation between students increasing to 3.5 out of 4. In conclusion, AMIS media is effective in improving students' narrative writing skills and creating a more interesting and participatory learning atmosphere. The findings suggest that AMIS is worthy of wider implementation in other schools as an innovative learning strategy to improve writing skills and student engagement.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an innovative Printed Teaching Material (Module) based on Tanah Luwu folktales that meets the needs of students in Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 657 Passampa Kab. Luwu Sulawesi Selatan. The findings indicate that the development of teaching materials grounded in folktales can enhance the quality of education and students' critical thinking skills. The validity and practicality of the developed teaching materials have been confirmed by experts, teachers, and students, with overwhelmingly positive feedback. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of integrating folktales into education as a strategy to preserve culture and increase the appeal of learning. The study also encourages the development and application of folktale-based teaching materials in school curricula, which can assist teachers in creating more interactive and meaningful learning experiences for students. Overall, this research provides a significant contribution to improving the quality of education in Indonesia by promoting a more contextual and innovative approach to learning.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1) a picture of learning readiness before using the singing method in Indonesian language learning, 2) a picture of learning readiness after using the singing method in Indonesian language learning 3) the influence of the singing method on learning readiness in Indonesian language learning. This research is a quasi-experiment research with a single-group interrupted time-series design approach. The location of this research was carried out at SDN 283 Mahalona, ​​Towuti District, East Luwu Regency. The population in this study were all class I students at SDN 283 Mahalona for the 2023/2024 academic year. Sampling was carried out using a total sampling technique with a sample size of 22 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire and data analysis using the paired samples t test with a significance level of 5%. The results of the research show that 1) students' learning readiness before using the singing method in Indonesian language learning obtained high results, 2) students' learning readiness after using the singing method in Indonesian language learning obtained very high results, 3) there was an influence of the singing method on learning readiness in class I Indonesian language learning at SDN 283 Mahalona, ​​Towuti District, East Luwu Regency. Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability of intensive reading through the application of cooperative cooperative learning model of group investigation in fourth grade students of Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 4 Porehu, Kec. Porehu, Kab. Kolaka Utara. Using the approach of Classroom Action Research approach, this research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle comprising of in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, action and observation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and tests. The results showed that in cycle I, the cooperative learning strategy had not been successful, with some students scoring below 70% some students who scored below 70%. However, in cycle II, with maximized implementation and improved strategies, no students scored below 70%, indicating success. Students who scored below 70%, indicating the success of the strategy. This research confirms the importance of an interactive and student-centered learning approach in interactive and student-centered learning approaches in improving elementary students' intensive reading skills. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual assisted digital alphabet typewriter media to improve the initial reading ability of grade 1 students at SDN 23 Batara. The type of research used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population of this study was all grade 1 students at SDN 23 Batara. The sample consisted of 26 people. The collected data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the average value (pretest) was 66.85 and the average value (posttest) was 90. Meanwhile, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, t-test results were obtained with a significant value (2 tailed) <0.05, namely < 0.000 means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the application of audio-visual assisted digital alphabet typewriter media on the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students at SDN 23 Batara.

Abstract

The research on the Development of Islamic Character Animation Video Learning Media on the Material of Various Jobs aims to determine the needs analysis, planning, development and distribution of Islamic character animation video learning media on the material of Various Jobs. Product development uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. This study produced a learning video that was considered valid by language experts (89.28%), material experts (95.45%), and design experts (75%). This learning video is also practical for use by teachers (100%) and students (94.46%) and effective (92.85%). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Islamic character learning video is feasible, practical, and effective for use by teachers and students.
