Abstract

Slingshot is a traditional game that is played not just shooting, but there are several correct techniques to be able to shoot on target. The purpose of this study is to analyze the biomechanics of pulling in the traditional slingshot game. This research uses quantitative methods which are then explained descriptively analytically using the one shot case study method. The samples used in this study were traditional game activists in Semarang Regency. This research data was obtained using kinematic data obtained from the results of video analysis of catapult techniques with the help of Kinovea software version 0.9.5. From the quantitative data obtained, a recap of the slingshot technique consisting of three phases was obtained, namely the preparation phase, the release phase, and the follow through phase. The results of the study found that the analysis of the pull on the traditional slingshot game activists in Semarang Regency was still not good with an average pull in the preparation phase of 98.11 ± 22.956 degrees with a pull angle in the release phase of 103.76 ± 26.22 degrees. The conclusion in this study found that the ideal pulling technique is a pulling movement that forms an angle of approximately 90 degrees on the arm with the body or torque, which is done when the elbow of the pull is parallel to the hand holding the slingshot frame. It is hoped that further research can discuss related to the analysis of the length of pull and shot accuracy

Abstract

This research discusses the cognitive training model (life kinetic and brain gym) in relation to the decision-making of low-intellectual athletes in open-skill sports. Cognitive training is also often recommended in the training process and sport practice approaches to improve movement. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of cognitive training models (life kinetic and brain gym) on the decision-making of low-intellectual athletes in open-skill sports. The method used is an experimental method. The population used was athletes in open-skill sports, totaling 48 athletes. The sample of children taken was 27 athletes taken using a purposive sampling technique. This research instrument uses the Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM) Test and The Decision Style Questionnaire (DSQ) Test. The data analysis technique used was the paired sample t-test and the independent sample t-test, and the results of this study showed that there was a significant influence of the life kinetic and brain gym training models on the decision-making of low-intellectual athletes in open-air sports. skill, and there is no significant difference in influence between life kinetic and brain gym training on the decision-making of low-intellectual athletes in open-skill sports

Abstract

This study aims to determine the macronutrient intake patterns of sports students who fast. Fasting is a must for Muslims, including those who are still actively participating in training and studying. Fasting conditions will cause very big changes related to changes in eating times. What was originally free became limited only from Maghrib until before Fajr at the specified time. Arranging to prevent nutritional deficiencies and lack of sleep is very important. The research method is a survey with food activity recall as an instrument. Respondents were 26 students who recorded and filled in independently. Training was held to fill in the nutrition survey program first and a simulation was held. Analysis Data was entered into the nutrie survey program for analysis. The recommended energy adequacy will be the main discussion. The results of the research show that students' energy adequacy is very low, only an average of 57%. Based on the results of this research, for students who are still athletes, this lack of energy intake deserves attention, as well as for students who are just active, a lack of energy intake for a long time will have a negative effect on activity.

The method used in this research was an experimental method where APT was given twice a week, for 6 weeks, with training in the form of squat jumps with blocking form, single- and double-leg bounding, spike approaches, depth jumps, power skips, and continuous jumping for height. Using a one group pre-test post-test research design. The population in this study was 25 female volleyball athletes from SMAN 1 Kawali. The sampling method used purposive sampling, which obtained 10 samples according to the criteria. The research instrument used to measure jump height is the Vertical jump. The results of this study state that there is a significant influence of Aquatic Plyometric Training (APT) on increasing spike jump height in volleyball players. So it can be concluded that to increase the height of the spike jump, you can train using Aquatic Plyometric Training.

Abstract

The main problem of this study is that skipping rope and shuttle runs are used to train the speed and agility of badminton players, but it is not yet known which is more effective for each of these aspects. This study explores the effect of skipping rope and shuttle run training on the speed and agility of badminton players, both partially and combined. This study used a quantitative method with an experimental approach involving two independent and two dependent variables to achieve these objectives. Data analysis was carried out using multivariate analysis of variance, involving 38 male students who took badminton courses as samples. The results showed that: 1) Skipping rope training partially has a significant effect on the agility and speed of badminton players; 2) Shuttle run training partially has a significant effect on the agility and speed of badminton players; 3) Skipping rope and shuttle run training simultaneously have a significant effect on the agility and speed of badminton players. In conclusion, skipping rope and shuttle run exercises are equally practical for training badminton players' agility and speed.
