Abstract

The application of problem-based learning approaches to mathematics subjects in elementary schools needs to be improved. It is proven through literature review research that this problem-based learning approach has a significant positive effect on optimizing mathematics learning in achieving maximum learning targets for students in class IV SD. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review to review journals and articles related to PBL and math learning outcomes. Data was collected from the Google Scholar database using a method based on PRISMA, the application of the learning model proved to be effective in problem-based learning in Cycle I resulted in an average percentage of student learning outcomes showing a significant increase from 60% in Cycle I to 89% in Cycle II. This shows a percentage increase of 29%. This research concludes that PBL is an effective method to optimize mathematics learning in surpassing maximum learning targets for students in elementary school. Increasing the application of this problem-based learning approach in the application of mathematics lessons in elementary school is very important and needs to be done on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning requires academic supervision through academic supervision shows that the existence of systematic and grounded supervision can have a positive impact on the quality of teaching. The purpose of this study is to identify the main roles of academic supervision implementation that affect the quality of the learning process, as well as the extent to which the effectiveness of academic supervision can contribute to improving the quality of learning in schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study method The object of this research is located at Darussalam Tulungagung Integrated Junior High School. The main sources of informants in this study are school principals who are responsible for planning and implementing academic supervision, as well as teachers and teaching staff who are the subject of the supervision. In addition, students were also involved as informants to provide their views on the influence of supervision on the quality of learning they receive. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques applied Miles and Huberman's theory of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results show that academic supervision that applies participatory approaches, such as classroom observations with immediate feedback, reflective discussions, and training tailored to teachers' needs, significantly improves teachers' ability to design and implement learning. Teachers who routinely receive quality academic supervision experience progress in implementing more diverse and innovative learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to create audio-visual resources to enhance vocabulary learning and comprehension among young English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students, with an emphasis on fruit-related vocabulary. Traditional teaching techniques, such as rote memorization, often fail to engage learners and do not encourage long-term retention. In contrast, audio-visual tools like videos, animations, and interactive features provide a more engaging, dynamic, and multimodal learning experience. Using a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the research will involve needs analysis, material design, prototyping, classroom testing, and evaluation. The effectiveness of the materials will be measured through pre- and post-tests, surveys, and feedback from both students and teachers. This study aims to improve vocabulary retention and comprehension while examining young learners' views on using audio-visual materials in language learning.

Abstract

Increasing the competitiveness of educational institutions is a big challenge in the digital era, including at SDN 37 Pekanbaru. This research aims to analyze the use of digital platforms, especially Merdeka Belajar, in increasing school competitive advantages. A qualitative descriptive approach was used with interview, observation and documentation methods. The research results show that although digital platforms provide significant benefits, such as improving the quality of learning and evaluation, technological infrastructure challenges, user resistance, and budget constraints still hinder optimal implementation. Limited digital marketing strategies are also an obstacle in increasing school visibility. The research conclusion states that the use of digital platforms needs to be supported by intensive training, infrastructure improvements, and active collaboration between teachers, students and parents to achieve sustainable competitiveness.
