Abstract

This research was motivated by learning obstacles experienced by students. These learning obstacles were obtained from the results of preliminary studies on statistics material. Thus, the aim of this research is to develop a didactical design for statistical material so that it can overcome the learning obstacles experienced by students. This research is qualitative research using the Didactical Design Research (DDR) method through three stages, namely a) Prospective Analysis, b) Metapedadidactic Analysis, and c) Retrospective Analysis. Data collection in this research is interviews, tests, documentation, photos. The results of this research show that there are several LOs experienced by students in statistics material, namely that there are still some students who cannot read data and there are still some who cannot make bar charts. HLT is structured based on the LO experienced by students, namely: 1) understanding the meaning of data, 2) understanding how to read data and interpreting data in the form of bar charts, 3) understanding how to present or make bar charts. The didactic design was implemented and obtained from the results of the final identification test, there was a decrease in LO compared to the initial diagnostic test. Based on these findings, a revision of the hypothetical didactic design was carried out and a revised didactic design was obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP IT ArRudho, East Jakarta City. In this study, using the field research method, namely field research or observation and the distribution of instruments in the form of a questionnaire that will be collected and used as a source for analysis. Hypothesis testing using Pearson product moment correlation is to find a correlation or relationship between variable X (Giving Reward) with variable Y (Learning Motivation). The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of giving rewards on students' learning motivation, this can be seen from the value of the correlation index (rcount) which is 0.401 (r table) 0.254, meaning that there is a fairly strong influence of giving rewards on students' learning motivation. So it can be concluded that the provision of rewards can increase student learning motivation. So that the provision of rewards can encourage students to be more active in the learning process at school.

Abstract

This study emphasizes the dynamics driving non-linear students to choose the Management of Islamic Education (MPI) program at the Postgraduate School of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Often, these students lack a clear understanding of their reasons for selecting this program of study. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach involving in-depth interviews, the research explores the intrinsic and extrinsic motivational components influencing this decision. The findings indicate that students' personal interests, familial encouragement, career aspirations, and the influence of the academic environment shape their motivation. Hence, non-linear student motivation stems from a combination of internal factors, such as personal ambition and the need for self-development, and external factors, including family support and inspiration from successful individuals. Optimism, utilization of academic resources, and effective time management are additional factors driving adaptation within the academic environment. This provides program managers with practical insights to enhance their support for non-linear students.

Abstract

Management psychology is a management discipline that uses a psychological approach to understand the personality of each person in an organization. Psychological factors influence individual performance, communication patterns, and interactions in the work environment. The aim of this research is to explain the role of managerial psychology in shaping engagement and motivation for organizational performance. This research uses a literature review method from various books, articles and research reports. The results of the literature review conducted show that a supportive work environment can only be built through good leadership practices. Good leadership practices can be identified from how leaders manage communication and interaction patterns to meet the needs and expectations of each individual. These needs and expectations are met through a fair and humane approach to all members, clear career paths, rewards for work performance, quality development programs, objective job evaluations, and follow-up on job evaluation results. Leaders cannot create a comfortable work environment unless they earn the trust and loyalty of members. Trust can only be obtained when leaders care about all their members, are willing to accept opinions and suggestions, and are willing to share experiences with their members.
