Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of social media in disseminating information about religious moderation. Using qualitative methods and content analysis approaches, this study analyzes social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok as a strategic means of introducing, discussing, and promoting the values of moderation in religious life. The findings of the study show that social media provides a space for interfaith dialogue that allows individuals from different backgrounds to share their views and experiences. Educational and inspirational content, such as videos, articles, and online discussions, is an important instrument in strengthening understanding the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding between religious communities. Additionally, social media serves as a tool to counter extremism and intolerance, providing a platform for moderate voices to be heard.

Abstract

Learning algebraic structures is often considered difficult for students to understand because of its abstract and theoretical nature. Without the right approach, students can find it difficult to relate theory to practice and master the basic concepts in algebraic structures. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of the scaffolding method in learning algebraic structures. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting main data through interviews with students of Mathematics Education at HKBP Nommensen University. The data analysis techniques used include data interpretation, data reduction, and conclusion drawn. The findings of the study show that the application of scaffolding provides more effective understanding for students, helping them overcome difficulties in learning complex material. In addition, scaffolding also increases students' interest in learning and makes learning algebraic structures more fun. Thus, this study confirms that scaffolding is an effective method to increase understanding and motivation for learning in learning algebraic structures.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of MTs Kandepag in utilizing technology in the learning process. The method used is a field study by observing the condition of the school directly, starting from physical facilities to the application of technology in teaching and learning activities. Primary data is obtained through field records and documentation that records actual conditions in the field. Data analysis was carried out using data triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings, which were naturally outlined based on the results of direct observations. The findings of the study show that MTs Kandepag faces several challenges in the use of technology, including limited funds, lack of technology use, and lack of attention from the government. This study concludes that to increase the effectiveness of technology utilization in schools, it is necessary to make maximum efforts in providing facilities, improving teacher skills, and strengthening support from the government and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of religious leaders in building tolerance in a society that has religious diversity. This paper uses a literature study method by analyzing social media using content analysis. The findings show that religious lectures, interfaith dialogue, and social activities led by religious leaders have a significant contribution in encouraging harmonious relations and mutual understanding between religious groups. In addition, religious leaders have proven to play a role in reducing negative stereotypes and mediating conflicts based on religious differences. This study concludes that the existence of religious leaders as a driver of tolerance values is a key element in maintaining harmony in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the differences and similarities in the perspective of Islamic law and state law regarding interfaith marriage, the method used is qualitative descriptive, namely in the form of a literature review. Marriage is a very important thing in the reality of human life. The fact in people's lives that interfaith marriage is an undeniable reality is of course a great disregard for the existence of laws and regulations. Interfaith marriage in Indonesia does not have legal force because invitation number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage and the drafting of Islamic law as a positive law has prohibited interfaith marriage. Based on state law and the perspective of Islamic law, interfaith marriage is seen as more harmful than beneficial. Performing an interfaith marriage means not complying with the laws and regulations that apply in this country. State law has banned interfaith marriage. Therefore, the Religious and Civil Registry Office will not make administrative records of interfaith weddings. And the consequences of interfaith marriage will experience various problems in the household so that it is impossible to realize a sakinah family.

Abstract

The day of Ashura, which falls on the 10th of Muharram, has an important significance in Islamic tradition, remembering various religious events such as the rescue of the Prophet Moses and the healing of the Prophet Ayyub. This research aims to explore the spiritual, historical, and social dimensions of Ashura Day and its role in strengthening the faith and solidarity of Muslims. With a qualitative approach and historiography method, this study analyzes primary data from literature studies related to its historical aspects. The findings show that Ashura Day not only commemorates the history of Islam, but also strengthens social ties through cultural traditions, such as the making of Ashura porridge, which promotes harmony in the midst of the diversity of the people.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the perspective of non-Muslim communities towards Muslim religious practices in North Sumatra. This study uses a qualitative approach with a letiratur study method with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study show that non-Muslim communities generally have different views on Muslim religious practices, ranging from tolerance to skepticism. It is hoped that this research will provide deeper insights into the dynamics of interfaith relations and encourage constructive dialogue between various communities in North Sumatra. Thus, the perception of non-Muslim communities towards Muslim religious practices reflects the diversity of views influenced by the local social and cultural context. So research can show that while many non-Muslims value and respect Muslim worship practices, there are also misconceptions and rejections of certain aspects that can and should not be upheld in the public sphere.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pendekatan metakognitif dalam mengatasi kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep aljabar, khususnya homomorfisme dan isomorfisme pada grup. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur, dengan mengkaji berbagai referensi yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran aljabar dan penerapan pendekatan metakognitif dalam pendidikan matematika. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan bagaimana proses metakognitif, yang melibatkan kesadaran, pengaturan, dan evaluasi, dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam mengenali kesulitan belajar, mengelola strategi pembelajaran, dan mengevaluasi efektivitas pemahaman mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan metakognitif berperan penting dalam membantu mahasiswa memperdalam pemahaman tentang konsep-konsep aljabar abstrak dan memecahkan masalah pembelajaran yang mereka hadapi. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika, tetapi juga memperkuat keterampilan berpikir reflektif yang bermanfaat dalam proses pembelajaran jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the production process of kale-based food preparations, namely kale rendang and kale arsik, using a linear program approach. The main problem faced by business actors is limited resources such as raw materials, production time, and work capacity. By utilizing the simplex method, this study formulates a mathematical model of the objective function and real constraints in the production process. The optimization results show that to obtain maximum profit of Rp 3,000,000 per production cycle, the best strategy is to produce two units of kale rendang without producing kale arsik. This analysis confirms that kangkung rendang is mathematically more profitable than kangkung arsik, under the existing constraints. The findings recommend the use of linear programs as an effective decision-making tool in the planning and management of local food-based MSME production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles on Arabic learning outcomes of junior high school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 60 junior high school students selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to see the contribution of each learning style to Arabic learning outcomes. The results showed that visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on students' Arabic learning outcomes. Among the three learning styles, visual learning style has the most dominant influence on students' Arabic learning outcomes. Based on these results, it is concluded that the diversity of students' learning styles needs to be considered in the learning process, especially in learning Arabic. Teachers are expected to use a variety of learning methods that are in accordance with students' learning styles so that learning becomes more effective and student learning outcomes increase.
