Abstract

Conventional learning tends to be monotonous and less interactive, resulting in low student learning motivation. Learning support activities using non-conventional methods are needed. Interactive support based on educational games with projector media is promoted to increase student learning motivation. The implementation of the activity includes planning, socialization, learning support, observation, and reflection. The target of the activity is students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Ngampungan. Data was collected using observation and documentation techniques during the activity. The results of the activity show that during the learning process, students are more enthusiastic and motivated. Students appear more active in asking questions, answering questions, and participating in learning activities. The implementation of projector-based educational games can create an interactive, fun, and competitive learning atmosphere. Projector-based educational games media helps students understand the material more easily. Projector media is an innovative alternative for schools with limited learning facilities. This activity is expected to be one of the interactive learning models that teachers can apply to improve the quality and motivation of students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the literacy of fiqh muamalah of students at Attahdzib Islamic Boarding School, Jombang, through the study of the book Taqrirat al-Sadidah Volume 2. The background of this activity is the limited understanding of students regarding the basic principles of economic transactions in accordance with sharia, even though the Islamic boarding school has a book study forum that can be optimally utilized to strengthen this literacy. The mentoring method is implemented through a regular study forum by combining the bandongan method and contextual muamalah discussions, including the preparation stage, implementation of the study, strengthening contextual understanding, reflection-evaluation, and documentation of activities. The results of the mentoring show an increase in students' understanding of the basic concepts of fiqh muamalah such as contracts and transaction justice, an increase in the ability to relate fiqh to the realities of life, active participation in discussions, and a growing awareness of carrying out muamalah in accordance with sharia. This activity also strengthens the function of book study as a medium for Islamic legal literacy in Islamic boarding schools. In conclusion, the combination of the bandongan method with contextual discussions is effective in increasing the fiqh muamalah literacy of students and can be developed as a sustainable mentoring model.

Abstract

The intense competition in the healthcare industry in Lamongan Regency demands that private hospitals abandon traditional governance models that trigger high levels of wasteful spending. The Pembina Kesejahteraan Umat Hospital (RS PKU) in Sekapuk faces managerial challenges where 80% of its staff have purely clinical backgrounds without modern governance skills, leading to service inefficiencies and revenue leakage. The Community Empowerment Program (CEP) aims to detect, measure, and map existing operational inefficiency nodes in the hospital’s healthcare facilities. The implementation method is carried out through technical mentoring and collaborative Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with 25 core hospital managers, adopting the curriculum of the Asian Tiger Healthcare Camp and the Ikatan Konsultan Kesehatan Indonesia (Ikkesindo). The results of the CEP indicate a simultaneous accumulation of high-level waste across all parameters of the Seven Biggest Sources of Wasteful Spending instrument. The main root causes are detected in outpatient queues (operational inefficiencies), uncertainty in the conventional pharmaceutical supply chain, and delayed claim files (revenue leakage). This comprehensive audit successfully formulated a new governance roadmap that serves as a scientific basis for the board of directors in determining priorities for sustainable quality interventions.

Abstract

The limited managerial competency of 80% of the Human Resources (HR) staff with clinical backgrounds at PKU Sekapuk Hospital, Lamongan, has resulted in poor performance appraisal standards. Daily internal evaluations, relying on spot inspections, have been shown to trigger highly subjective bias, role ambiguity, and a culture of fear that hinders innovation in healthcare services. This Community Empowerment Program (CEP) aims to strengthen managerial capacity and staff accountability through a paradigm shift from a reactive spot inspection model to a transparent, written target system. The methods implemented include participatory workshops, self-design assistance, and assessment instrument simulations with 25 core management elements and ward heads. The program results demonstrated a highly cooperative organizational psychological response. Management and leaders welcomed the elimination of the conventional spot inspection system. This activity succeeded in drafting written Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regulations based on the S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) principles, covering the pillars of clinical quality, operational efficiency, and financial compliance. Effective KPIs implementation cuts through cross-unit sectoral egos, provides role clarity, and builds a work culture that is aware of performance data.
