Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media use on the development of tolerance values among Generation Z in the digital era. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire completed by 106 respondents aged 17–25 who reside in the Jabodetabek and Cikarang areas. The results show that social media usage has a positive influence on tolerance values, although the contribution is relatively small 1,2%. Most respondents stated that social media helps them become more open to differences and promotes mutual respect in diversity. These findings suggest that social media can serve as a supportive space for fostering tolerance when used wisely and accompanied by adequate digital understanding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap pembentukan nilai toleransi pada Generasi Z di era digital. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang diisi oleh 106 responden berusia 17–25 tahun yang berdomisili di wilayah Jabodetabek dan Cikarang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap nilai toleransi, meskipun kontribusinya tergolong rendah 1,2%. Mayoritas responden merasa bahwa media sosial membantu mereka menjadi lebih terbuka terhadap perbedaan dan mendorong sikap saling menghargai dalam keberagaman. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dapat menjadi ruang yang mendukung pembentukan sikap toleran apabila digunakan secara bijak dan disertai dengan pemahaman digital yang memadai.

Abstract

In the era of digital communication, slang has become an essential part of Generation Z’s communication style, especially on platform X. This study aims to analyze the impact of slang usage on the digital communication style of Generation Z using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The findings show that slang is not only a communication tool but also serves as a means of self-expression, social identity, and emotional closeness among users. However, excessive use may negatively affect formal language skills. Therefore, adaptive language literacy awareness is necessary to ensure digital communication remains relevant and effective. This study concludes that slang reflects social dynamics and linguistic development in the digital age, emphasizing the need to balance language creativity and linguistic norms.

Abstract

This study examines how corporate reputation and store image influence Generation Z’s choices of local skincare products in Greater Jakarta, with trust and perceived risk as central considerations. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 Gen Z consumers who had purchased local skincare products within the last six months. Thematic analysis revealed four major themes: reputation as a trust signal, store image and the retail experience, trust and risk in skincare choices, and Gen Z’s hybrid decision-making process. Findings indicate that reputation, particularly when reinforced by halal certification and influencer visibility, enhances trust, while a positive store image—through clean layouts, organized displays, and social-media-friendly atmospheres—reduces perceived risk. Trust emerged as the mediator linking reputation and store image to purchase decisions, whereas perceived risk continued to function as a barrier when product authenticity was uncertain. Importantly, Gen Z consumers blended online validation (e.g., TikTok reviews, peer opinions) with offline store experiences, creating a unique hybrid pathway to decision-making. The study contributes to the literature by offering qualitative evidence on the interaction of intangible brand cues in the Indonesian skincare context and provides practical recommendations for local brands to strengthen reputation, curate credible store images, minimize perceived risk, and integrate online and offline strategies to appeal to Gen Z consumers.

Abstract

Early marriage and a lack of understanding about HIV/AIDS are critical issues that threaten the health and future of adolescents in Indonesia. This community service activity aims to measure the effectiveness of educational workshops in increasing the knowledge and awareness of students at SMPN 2 Serang Baru, Bekasi, regarding the legal and religious dimensions of early marriage and HIV/AIDS education. By combining storytelling sessions, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), interactive quizzes, reflections, and pre- and post-tests, the results of the pre- and post-test scores showed a statistically significant increase in knowledge among participants. In accordance with Law No. 16 of 2019, the health and social impacts of early marriage, as well as the transmission and prevention of HIV/AIDS, were addressed. Qualitative results from the FGDs and reflections support these findings, indicating positive changes in participants' attitudes and awareness. It is concluded that this educational workshop model, measured through pre- and post-tests, is highly effective in enhancing adolescents' knowledge about sensitive issues and can be replicated as an evidence-based intervention program in other schools

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are: (1) To determine the effect of company size on the value of Property & Real Estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. (2) To determine the effect of capital structure on the value of Property & Real Estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. (3) To determine the effect of company size and capital structure on the value of Property & Real Estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023. The data used in this study are data based on annual financial reports obtained through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange www.idx.com. Sampling using a purposive sampling method and selected 31 manufacturing companies in the property & real estate subsector in 2019-2023 as samples in the study. Based on the results of the study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the F Test study show that company size and capital structure simultaneously affect company value with a significance value of 0.032. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.247 for company size and 0.026 for capital structure. This means that company size has no effect, and capital structure does affect company value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of application convenience, income level, and financing term on customers’ decisions to apply for financing at Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) Mekaar Syariah (a survey of customers in the Gandus District). This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey research method, which involves collecting data on the research variables simultaneously. The sampling technique employed is the Slovin formula, based on a total population of 5,687 customers, resulting in a sample of 100 respondents. The data used is primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to the respondents. Data processing was conducted using SPSS version 26. Several tests were carried out, including normality and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests comprising normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and linearity tests. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing was performed using the t-test and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results of the study show that application convenience significantly influences customers’ decisions to apply for PNM Mekaar Syariah financing in Gandus District, with a t-count value of 3.240, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.984. Income level also has a significant effect, with a t-count of 3.265, and financing term significantly influences the decision as well, with a t-count of 6.833. Therefore, application convenience, income level, and financing term are important factors in customers’ decisions to apply for PNM Mekaar Syariah financing in Gandus District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) dalam promosi layanan Luminor Hotel Palembang. IMC merupakan strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang mengintegrasikan berbagai elemen promosi guna menciptakan pesan yang konsisten kepada konsumen. Penerapan IMC penting dalam industri perhotelan yang memiliki tingkat persaingan tinggi untuk membangun citra merek dan menarik minat konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap aktivitas promosi yang dilakukan oleh pihak Luminor Hotel Palembang, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan IMC di Luminor Hotel Palembang telah berjalan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan brand awareness dan memperkuat citra hotel. Media digital, khususnya media sosial, menjadi saluran promosi yang paling dominan. Namun, masih terdapat kendala berupa belum optimalnya integrasi antar saluran komunikasi dan keterbatasan evaluasi promosi secara menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengelolaan IMC yang lebih terstruktur agar strategi promosi dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study focuses on the business model and competitiveness of e-sports hotels by drawing empirical insights from China, particularly the case of Henan Province, and translating these lessons into practical implementation strategies for Indonesia. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach based on secondary data, case analysis, and industry reports, the research examines dominant business models, sources of competitive advantage, and structural challenges faced by e-sports hotels in China. The findings indicate that successful e-sports hotels rely on hybrid business models combining direct operation, franchising, and event-based revenue streams, supported by standardized service quality and strong ecosystem partnerships. However, market homogenization, talent shortages, and inconsistent service quality remain key constraints. Building on these insights, the study proposes an implementation framework for Indonesia that integrates e-sports hotels with tourism destinations and local creative economies. Furthermore, the paper outlines a future research agenda focusing on Indonesia’s ten priority tourism destinations as designated by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The study contributes to hospitality and tourism management literature by offering a cross-country perspective on how e-sports hotels can enhance competitiveness through adaptive business models in emerging tourism markets

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of employee loyalty in the maritime crew manning industry, focusing on employee engagement, ship environment, and job satisfaction. The maritime sector is characterized by demanding working conditions, extended periods away from home, and high operational risk, making employee retention a persistent managerial challenge. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to crew members employed by a crew manning company in Indonesia. A total of 32 valid responses were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that the ship environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, while employee engagement does not show a statistically significant relationship with job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction is found to have a significant positive influence on employee loyalty. These results indicate that, in a shipboard context, tangible and social working conditions play a more decisive role in shaping employee satisfaction and loyalty than psychological engagement alone. This study contributes to the literature on maritime human resource management by emphasizing the contextual specificity of engagement mechanisms and offers practical implications for crew manning agencies seeking to improve retention and operational stability.

Abstract

Aging is a natural process often accompanied by various physical and psychosocial challenges. To enhance the quality of life for the elderly, the community service event Warm, Hearts, and Journey was held at Wijaya Kusuma Nursing Home, Jakasampurna District, West Bekasi, on Sunday, July 20, 2025. This program aimed to provide emotional support and improve both mental and physical well-being through engaging and educational activities. The implementation used a participatory approach with warm interpersonal communication, including door-to-door interactions within the nursing home to ensure every resident felt cared for and valued. A multidisciplinary collaboration among students from various study programs enriched the event, creating a comfortable and empathetic atmosphere. The outcomes demonstrated increased enthusiasm and a stronger sense of togetherness among the elderly, while also highlighting the importance of social support in fostering meaningful aging experiences.
