Abstract

Digital entrepreneurship has become a key pillar in the development of the global economy, along with rapid technological advances. This study aims to explore the key characteristics required to build a technology-based business as well as the challenges faced by digital entrepreneurs. Key characteristics identified include adaptability to technological change, digital and data literacy, as well as user experience orientation and the application of growth hacking. However, despite great opportunities, challenges such as intense competition, limited capital and infrastructure, as well as issues related to data security and inadequate regulations, pose significant obstacles. The research also highlights the importance of utilizing advanced technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and big data, as well as the need for collaboration within the startup ecosystem, venture capital funding, and business incubators. In addition, building personal branding and digital communities are important factors in expanding market reach and increasing consumer trust. This study suggests that digital entrepreneurs should continue to develop their skills in adapting and utilizing technology, and suggests that policymakers should create regulations that are more supportive of digital business development. On the other hand, further research on the role of the startup ecosystem and the impact of new technologies on digital entrepreneurship is needed to enrich understanding in this field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of digital technology in improving economic literacy among low-income communities. Low economic literacy can be a barrier for people in personal financial management, family economic planning and participation in economic activities. Digital technologies, especially economic education apps, have the potential to address this issue by providing easier access to information and educational resources. This study uses a mixed method, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, to evaluate the effect of digital technology on improving economic literacy. The results show that the use of economic education apps can improve economic literacy by 22.6% among low-income communities. However, obstacles such as limited internet access and difficulties in understanding more complex materials remain a challenge. Based on these findings, it is recommended to improve access to digital technology, simplify economic education materials, and develop digital literacy training programs. This research contributes to the understanding of how digital technology can be used to improve the economic well-being of low-income communities by providing practical recommendations for further development. Potential follow-up research includes long-term studies to evaluate the sustainability impact of economic education applications on people's financial behavior and well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of digital marketing strategies based on sustainability values on improving the competitiveness of local products, using a mixed method approach that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. The background of this research is based on the weak competitiveness of local products caused by the mismatch of marketing strategies with sustainability trends and increasing consumer preferences for ethical and environmentally friendly products. Quantitative data was collected through a survey of 150 digital consumers, while qualitative data was obtained through in-depth interviews with 10 UMKM players. The results show that the integration of sustainability values such as transparency, use of environmentally friendly materials, and social responsibility in digital strategies can increase positive consumer perceptions and strengthen purchase intentions. The qualitative findings support the quantitative results by revealing that businesses that implement these strategies are more adaptive in reaching digital consumers and strengthening local brand identity. The implications of this study show the importance of synergy between sustainability and digital transformation approaches to create sustainable competitiveness for local products. This research contributes to the development of sustainable digital marketing theory as well as strategic recommendations for UMKM and policy makers.

Abstract

Sektor industri kreatif mengalami perkembangan pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, terutama didorong oleh inovasi digital dan perubahan preferensi konsumen. Dalam menghadapi persaingan yang ketat, kepuasan pelanggan menjadi kunci utama dalam mempertahankan loyalitas dan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana penerapan Sistem Manajemen Kualitas (SMK) berdampak terhadap kepuasan pelanggan di sektor industri kreatif. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei pada 100 responden pelanggan dari berbagai subsektor industri kreatif, data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SMK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas produk/layanan serta tingkat kepuasan pelanggan. Nilai R-squared sebesar 0.78 mengindikasikan bahwa 78% variasi kepuasan pelanggan dijelaskan oleh penerapan SMK. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan kualitas yang sistematis, bahkan di sektor dengan karakter dinamis seperti industri kreatif. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi penerapan SMK yang kontekstual dan adaptif terhadap sifat kreatif dari industri ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, salary, and work environment on employee job satisfaction with work motivation as a moderating variable. The study was conducted at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Deli Serdang Regency with a quantitative approach and census method on 89 respondents. Data processing used SmartPLS to test the structural model. The results showed that financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on work motivation, but did not have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Salary had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, but was not significant on work motivation. The work environment had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, but was not significant on work motivation. Meanwhile, work motivation did not show a significant effect on job satisfaction. These findings indicate that increasing financial literacy and perceptions of fair salary can increase employee motivation and job satisfaction, while poor work environment conditions can decrease job satisfaction.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a major driver in the development of business models in the modern era, demanding efficiency and sustainability in the management of information technology systems. This research aims to examine the role of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) as a strategic approach in the development of efficient and sustainable digital businesses. Using a library research method and a descriptive qualitative approach and metaanalysis, data was collected from reputable scientific journals, academic books, and other reliable sources. The findings show that OOP principles such as encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and abstraction contribute significantly to the flexibility, scalability, and sustainability of software systems. Case studies of OOP implementations in global digital businesses also corroborate that this paradigm supports operational efficiency and continuous innovation. However, challenges such as design complexity and limited human resources are still obstacles that require strategic solutions, including technical training and careful software architecture planning. This research recommends the integration of OOP in the long-term planning of digital businesses and the need for further empirical studies to quantitatively measure its impact. The implications of these findings are important for developers, academics, and business people who want to build adaptive, efficient, and sustainable digital systems amid technological disruption.

Abstract

Ketimpangan pendapatan merupakan isu krusial dalam perekonomian yang dapat berdampak pada stabilitas sosial dan pertumbuhan ekonomi jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi alokasi dan distribusi pendapatan dalam sistem ekonomi, khususnya dengan menyoroti konsep keadilan dan efisiensi dalam perspektif ekonomi konvensional dan Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan literatur ilmiah relevan lima tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem distribusi pendapatan yang efisien belum tentu menjamin keadilan, karena struktur endowment dan posisi tawar tiap individu berbeda. Dalam ekonomi Islam, prinsip keadilan menekankan pada larangan penzaliman dan mendorong pemerataan melalui instrumen seperti zakat. Pendekatan Islam tidak hanya fokus pada pembagian kekayaan yang adil, tetapi juga pada upaya membesarkan sumber daya agar manfaat ekonomi dapat dirasakan secara luas. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya nilai moral dan kebijakan yang inklusif dalam mewujudkan keadilan sosial dan efisiensi ekonomi secara berkelanjutan.
