Abstract

Abstracts - effect of profitability and liquidity on firm value in the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2024. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), while liquidity is measured using the Current Ratio. Firm value is assessed using the Price to Book Value (PBV) ratio. This research employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling on 36 companies that meet the criteria. The data were analyzed using classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test (partial), and F-test (simultaneous), processed with SPSS version 25. The results show that partially, profitability has a positive but not significant effect on firm value, while liquidity has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, profitability and liquidity have a non-significant effect on firm value. These findings indicate that although both independent variables contribute to explaining variations in firm value, their influence is not strong enough to significantly shape positive investor perceptions. Therefore, companies need to strategically and comprehensively manage their financial performance to enhance their firm value in the eyes of investors.

Abstract

Abstract - This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on employee performance at CV Nabilah in Bekasi. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 50 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and then analyzed with SPSS version 26. The validity test results confirmed that all items were valid, while the reliability test showed Cronbach’s Alpha values above 0.60, indicating that the instrument was reliable. The t-test showed that leadership significantly affected employee performance (t = 3.531 > t-table = 1.985), as did the work environment (t = 2.145 > t-table = 1.985). The F-test showed an F value of 26.029 > F-table = 3.19, meaning there is a simultaneous significant influence. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.503 indicates that 50.3% of employee performance is influenced by leadership and the work environment, while the remaining 49.7% is influenced by other factors beyond this study.

Abstract

The growth of local coffee shops like Fore Coffee reflects the rapid development of the coffee industry in Indonesia. Fore Coffee has successfully built an image as a premium coffee brand through the use of digital technology, contemporary concepts, and effective branding strategies. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of brand image and product quality on the purchasing decisions of Fore Coffee consumers, both partially and simultaneously. The research uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire method, where data is collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 96 respondents who are Fore Coffee consumers. The research results show that partially, brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a t-value of 6.846 ≥ t-table 1.986 and significance 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Similarly, product quality also has a significant effect with a t-value of 10.226 ≥ t-table 1.986 and significance 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Simultaneously, brand image and product quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with an f-value of 58.191 ≥ f-table 3.093 and significance 0.000 ≤ 0.05. These findings affirm that a strong brand perception and maintained product quality play a crucial role in shaping consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research investigates the level of employee job satisfaction at PT Pendanaan Efek Indonesia, recognizing its crucial importance in the middle of 4.0 era as a fundamental aspect of company operations. Job satisfaction, defined as employees' positive emotional attitudes towards their work, significantly impacts performance and retention. This study aims to (1) analyze the level of employee job satisfaction based on Likert Scale measurements, and (2) identify the factors influencing this satisfaction. Employing a non-statistical quantitative method with a 5-score Likert Scale questionnaire, data was directly collected from 50 respondents. The results indicate that, overall, employees at PT Pendanaan Efek Indonesia demonstrate a good level of job satisfaction, with an average percentage of 86.16% for intrinsic factors and 95.96% for extrinsic factors. Nevertheless, several indicators still require attention, such as career development opportunities (lack of training programs), interpersonal relationships (insufficient effective communication across departments), working conditions (high workload), and salary and compensation (below industry standards and a less transparent reward system). These findings suggest the need for regular evaluation and policies that can strengthen employees' intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Abstracts – This study aims to investigate the impact of compensation and job motivation on employee performance at CV Andriel Tekstil in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. The background to the issue shows that in the competitive textile industry, efficient human resource management (HRM), including compensation and motivation, is crucial for achieving company goals and maintaining employee productivity. Preliminary observations indicate employee dissatisfaction with the compensation provided, as well as low work discipline, which could potentially reduce performance. The research method used a quantitative approach with an associative method to identify the relationship between the variables. The sample comprised 61 respondents, selected using a saturation sampling technique. Data were analysed using multiple regression analysis to determine the influence of compensation and job motivation on employee performance. The results of the study show that compensation and work motivation together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. However, in isolation, only job motivation was found to have a significant impact on performance, while compensation did not. These findings emphasise the importance of work motivation as a key factor in improving employee performance at CV Andriel Tekstil. Keywords: Compensation, Work Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Leadership style and work environment are two important factors that influence employee performance, especially in government agencies such as the Maluku Provincial Liaison Agency. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee performance. The method used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 45 respondents who are all employees of the Maluku Provincial Liaison Agency. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 27 software, with validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, and determination coefficient tests. The results of the T test showed that leadership style did not have a significant effect partially (sig. 0.078 > 0.05), while the work environment had a significant effect (sig. 0.001 < 0.05). The F test showed that simultaneously both variables had a significant effect on employee performance (sig. 0.001 < 0.05). These findings imply that improving employee performance can be achieved through the creation of a more conducive work environment, as well as a communicative and supportive leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline & work environment on employee job satisfaction at the National Food Agency. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 35 employees. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 31 to determine both partial and simultaneous effects. The results show that work discipline has a significant effect on job satisfaction, with a t-value of 5.098 > t- table 2.03. The regression coefficient of 0.487 indicates that an increase in work discipline improves job satisfaction by 48.7%. The work environment also significantly affects job satisfaction, with a t-value of 4.237, with a regression coefficient of 0.174. Simultaneously, work discipline & work environment significantly influence job satisfaction, as indicated by an F-value of 17.823 > F-table 3.29 and significance level < 0.001. The R Square value of 0.527 shows that these two variables explain 52.7% of the variation in employee job satisfaction.
