Abstract

Employee performance in government institutions such as BAPPEDA of Tangerang Regency is crucial to ensuring the success of regional development planning. However, based on the 2024 Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data, most performance indicators have not met the 90% target, including attendance rates, document digitization, and responsiveness to incoming letters, which averaged below 75%. Pre-survey results also revealed weaknesses in organizational culture implementation, such as a lack of innovation space and leadership openness, as well as low job satisfaction, especially regarding work atmosphere and compensation. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method with a Likert-scale questionnaire. The population and sample consist of 52 employees, and data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The t-test results show that organizational culture (t = 2.297; sig. = 0.026) and job satisfaction (t = 2.639; sig. = 0.011) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F-test produced an F value of 6.439 > 3.187 with sig. = 0.003, indicating that both variables simultaneously have a significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 64.7% demonstrates that organizational culture and job satisfaction can explain variations in employee performance, while the remaining 35.3% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The mining industry is characterized by high-intensity work environments and long working hours that may generate work stress and excessive workload, both of which can affect employee performance. This study aims to examine the effect of work stress and workload on employee performance at the Head Office of PT X, one of the largest mining contractors in Indonesia. A quantitative method with a statistical approach was employed, involving all employees of the Human Resources Operation and Development division as the research population. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using partial and simultaneous tests. The results indicate that work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, t-value 4.808 > 2.015, and workload also shows a positive and significant effect, t-value 3.482 > 2.015. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect performance, F-value 38.075 > 3.210. These findings confirm that properly managed stress and workload can enhance productivity. The study highlights the importance of human resource management policies in stress management and workload distribution to sustain optimal employee performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is a crucial factor in achieving organizational goals, including at the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Tangerang Regency. The observed phenomena indicate delays in document completion, low motivation, and a lack of interdepartmental collaboration. These conditions suggest that compensation and the work environment may influence employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on employee performance at BAPPEDA Tangerang Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 52 respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results show that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 4.560 > t-table 1.676 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The work environment also has a significant effect, with a t-value of 3.588 > t-table 1.676 and a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneously, compensation and work environment significantly affect employee performance, with an F-value of 104.303 > F-table 3.187 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.802 indicates that 80.2% of the variation in performance is explained by these two variables.

Abstract

Human resources are important assets in achieving organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee work productivity at PT Tri Adi Bersama (Anteraja) Tebet Branch. A quantitative approach was used with a total sample technique involving 35 employees as respondents. There were several tests carried out, namely data quality tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests and determinant coefficient tests. The tool used to process the data in this study was SPSS software version 27. In the Work Environment variable (X1), the calculated t value was 1.728 with a significance level of 0.094> 0.05. This calculated t value was smaller than the t table, which was 2.034. This means that the Work Environment has no effect and is not significant on Work Productivity. In the Job Satisfaction variable (X2), the calculated t value was 2.984 with a significance level of 0.005 <0.05. This calculated t value was greater than the t table, which was 2.034. This indicates that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the Job Satisfaction variable has a significant effect on Work Productivity. From the F test results, the calculated F value is 30.867 > F table 3.295, and sig 0.000. With a confidence level (α) of 5%. Then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So the Work Environment (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) variables together (simultaneously) have an effect on Work Productivity (Y). This finding emphasizes the importance of creating a conducive work environment and increasing job satisfaction to support optimal employee performance in the logistics sector. The analysis tool used was SPSS version 25. The results showed that: (1) Work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 2.037 > t-table 2.001 and significance of 0.046 < 0.05; (2) Work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 1.209 < t-table 2.001 and significance of 0.231 > 0.05; (3) Simultaneously, work discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value of 14.313 > F table 3.15 and significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) value of 30.4% indicates that both variables can explain 30.4% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 69.6% is explained by other factors. These findings imply that companies need to maintain work discipline policies and evaluate motivation strategies to optimize employee performance.
