Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Manajemen Bisnis, Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya. Dibutuhkannya branding program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya atau dapat disingkat menjadi MB PPNS secara lebih luas sehingga harus menghasilkan sebuah program kerja yang dapat mengekspansi sebuah branding jangkauan yang lebih besar, yaitu dengan mengundang pembicara – pembicara handal di bidang Bisnis Maritim yang merupakan identitas MB PPNS kemudian dikemas dalam kegiatan Seminar Nasional guna memfasilitasi KMMB dalam hal publikasi tugas akhir. Dengan diadakannya kegiatan MBMC, diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan audience di bidang Bisnis dan Maritim dan dapat memperkenalkan MB PPNS secara lebih luas ke seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. Selain itu, diadakannya kegiatan Proceeding Maritime Business Management Conference (MBMC) , diharapkan dapat membantu proses penilaian akreditasi program studi Manajemen Bisnis Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya serta meningkatkan minat mahasiswa tingkat akhir untuk mempublikasikan Tugas Akhir. Abstract

Subject in this research is one of the shipbuilding companies in Surabaya which is engaged in the repair and construction of new ships. To get the project, the company participates in a tender. However, in reality, especially tenders prequalification of the two files and the evaluation of the lowest price, many failures occur. So we need a way to prevent failure in the tender. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the failure of the tender process. The method used in this research is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) methods. The results obtained using the FMEA method have 2 failure factors, namely the price after arithmetic correction exceeds HPS with an RPN value of 43.48 and technical personnel do not meet the requirements requested by the tender committee with an RPN value of 38,96. Meanwhile, the FTA method obtained 10 sources of causes including; poor coordination between estimators and suppliers, poor quality estimators, errors from estimators, lack of team in compiling data, not setting clear targets to be achieved, lack of understanding of competitors' weaknesses, limited manpower, few experienced workers in retirement, inadequate labor experience, and some workers who do not have competency certificates.

Abstract

Since long ago, the city of Bandung has been known as one of the main culinary destinations in the West Java region. Bandung as a center for culinary tourism creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to compete in opening more innovative businesses. Culinary developments in the city of Bandung are not only traditional culinary but also modern culinary, such as pastry and cake (cakes and bread). Pie cake is one of the culinary delights that is very suitable to be used as a gift for people who are on vacation. D'Taste is a business that is engaged in the culinary field, namely pia cakes and is very suitable to be used as souvenirs typical of Bandung. D'Taste has several unique and innovative flavors where there are no competitors selling similar products. From the survey results, it was found that consumers' interest in pia cakes ranging from 20-60 years old, with the status of students, entrepreneurs, employees, and lecturers, and having an income of Rp. 2,000,000 - Rp. 10,000,000. The marketing strategy carried out by D'Taste is direct promotion and through social media, advertising promotions, and making seasonal packages, and endorsements. The initial capital needed to develop D'Taste's business is Rp. 149,857,647 which comes from the owner's capital. The feasibility of developing this business is calculated by an NPV (Net Present Value) of Rp. 760,966,394, Payback Period (PP) is 7 months, in this case with an initial capital of 149,857,647 will be estimated to return within 7 months, Profitability Index (PI) of 5.08, and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 192.41%. So, by using various aspects of business opportunities, marketing aspects, operational aspects, and financial aspects, it can be said that D'Taste's business is to be developed in accordance with the plans that have been made.

Abstract

Lubricating oil vessel is a component that is essential for the smooth and operational cruise ships in the machine maintenance .The shipping companies that still do a rough guess to supply demand lubricating oil must have ripe for calculation based on a voyage made in supply , and from year to year lubricating oilprice increases , who is influential on the operational expenses costs .This research aims to obtain the lubricating oil the optimum route a to b in one trip and knows how the cost savings of the lubricating oil. Methods used in this research is fuzzy tsukamoto .The result showed 2054 liters per trip on ME and 1284 liters on AE engine the forecasting mape 7,3 %and 9,5 % .The cost of purchases demand lubricating oil on a ME engine save Rp .80.837.330 and machinery ae Rp. 53,065,812.95This research contributed to optimal lubricating oil demand in shipping per trip.

Abstract

In the IOT era, the development of a technology has grown rapidly in the world, especially in the industrial sector. Over time, the development of the freight forwarding industry has also experienced many improvements. According to the World Bank (2011), Dwelling time is the time calculated from the time a container is unloaded from the ship until the container leaves the port terminal through the main door. In this study using simple Linear Regression Analysis and the t test. The purpose of this research is to find out and explain the impact of Dwell time on income at PT. Surabaya Container Terminal. The results of this study indicate that the realization value of the average port residence time is 5 days and these figures exceed the target set by the government, which is 3 days.In the simple Linear Regression Test and the t test for the influence of Dwell time at the customs and post clearance stages in 2019-2021 the significance value and the t Dwell time test have an effect on Port Revenue.

Abstract

One means of transportation that has an important role to transport passengers or goods through waters to a certain area is the ship. One of the cargo ship repair processes carried out by PT Adiluhung Saranasegara Indonesia, namely KM Usaha Abadi, where there was a delay due to additional work items. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal duration and reduce cost overruns by percepting project duration. The methods used are Critical Path Method (CPM) and Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO). The results obtained in the first alternative, namely 1 hour of overtime work from 30 days to 28 days with a total project cost of IDR 1,079,5338,575.4. With the second alternative, 3 hours of overtime work from 30 days to 24 days with a total project cost of Rp1,078,493,823.7. The third alternative is a system of two shifts from 30 days to 18 days with a total project cost of Rp1,097,364,612. With an alternative duration of delay, which is 30 days, the total project cost is Rp. 1,090,425,667,276. So in terms of cost and time, the company should apply the alternative of two shifts.

Abstract

In construction, punctuality is a very important thing. The problem that often occurs is a change in thecontract (contract addendum). The purpose of this study was to determine the determination of the S Curve before and after the contract addendum, analyze the causes of the occurrence, determine the effect on the effectiveness of the shipbuilding that occurred at PT. Dumas Tanjung Perak Shipyards, and see changes in time variants. This research uses quantitative methods which are carried out through interviews and questionnaires. From these results will be tested with validity test, reliability test, Multiple Linear Regression analysis test, Correlation analysis, Determination analysis, F test and T test. The results of the multiple linear regression test, namely environmental factors are the most dominant factors that affect the implementation time with regression coefficient of 2.350, financial and administrative factors affect the cost of implementation with a regression coefficient of 1.130. The correlation test concluded that there was a very strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The results of the determination test concluded that effectiveness had an effect on implementation time of 93.7%, and effectiveness had an effect on implementation costs of 90.8%. There are 5 factors that cause the addendum contract and a change in the implementation time of this tourismship construction project by 23.6%.

Abstract

The shipbuilding company at Ujung Surabaya requires raw aluminium material to carry out its operational activities. However, in 2021 the shipyard company experienced a stockout of raw aluminum material of 152 units of structural angle material, 41 units of bar metal, 31 units of elbow, 33 units of pipe, 36 units of plate metal, 28 units of raceway, and 37 units of sheet metal. This resulted in delays in procurement activities for the KCR5 project which should have been 557 days to 635 days. Therefore, the purpose of this final project is to get the optimal number of orders and purchase frequency and to get the total cost of raw material inventory that is more efficient for the company. This study uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) methods to calculate the number of economic orders, safety stock, reorder points and optimal frequency, then uses the Total Annual Cost (TAC) calculation to calculate the inventory costs to be incurred. The objects in this study are 17 materials consisting of structural angle materials, pipes, plate metal, and sheet metal. The results of the study obtained the optimal number of orders, reorder points, and safety stock values to anticipate raw material shortages and obtained the total annual cost of the proposed EOQ method which could save 7,64% of the total annual cost of the company's policy.

Abstract

Brand competition in the children's bicycle industry at this time is increasingly fierce. PT X Manufacturing (PT X), which produces tricycles for children, has experienced a decline in sales and has not reached its sales target for the past three years. This study proposes strategies regarding brand awareness, perceivedquality, and internal and the company's external environment. These can be the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The hybrid method used in this study consists of the EFE matrix, IFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix, and QSPM. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations,and questionnaires. The results showed that PT X was located in the V-quadrant in the IE matrix. A suitable strategy was a hold and maintain strategy consisting of market penetration and product development strategies. Seven alternative strategies were formed through the SWOT matrix, and priority strategies weredetermined using the QSPM method. The priority strategy was utilizing online media to increase marketing and public awareness of product brands. This strategy was chosen as a priority because it has the highest value of 5.936.

Abstract

This company is a company in the shipping industry located in Sidoarjo, East Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of compensation and job satisfaction on employee performance which is moderated by job satisfaction. This type of research is a quantitative research with a causal approach. The sample in this study amounted to 34 employees with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires (questionnaires). The statistical test technique used was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that compensation had no partial and significant effect on performance with the results of the t statistical test calculation of 0.063 and job satisfaction did not moderate compensation on performance with the results of MRA test calculation of 0.686. Therefore, company should manage their human resources in oder to optimize performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional terminal peti kemas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab menurunnya nilai Dwelling Time dan mengetahui strategi yang paling tepat untuk mengatasi Dwelling Time. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT yang didukung dengan matriks IFE, matriks EFE, matriks IE dan matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 10 faktor internal yang terdiri dari 5 kekuatan dan 5 kelemahan, kemudian 10 faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari 5 peluang dan 5 ancaman. Kemudian diketahui posisi perusahaan berada pada sel 1 yaitu tumbuh dan berkembang serta mendapatkan rekomendasi strategi perbaikan Dwelling Time.
