Abstract

Along with the development of e-commerce in Indonesia, customers are increasingly fond of shopping online to meet their needs including the needs of gadget products. However, despite the many benefits of online shopping, online shopping also has many risks to be faced. Meanwhile, whether or not a person's desire to shop online depends on the amount of benefits he receives when shopping compared to the risks he or she may encounter. One factor that can affect customers in shopping for gadgets online is the trust of customers towards online sellers. This is due to the difficulty of building trust between customers and sellers because they can not meet face to face and the product being sold can not be seen or held in the real way. This research uses descriptive and correlational method. Technique of collecting data of this research is spreading of questionaire to sample of research. After getting the data from the research sample then do the validity and reliability test data. Data that is valid and reliable then processed to know the respondent's assessment of customer trust and purchase intentions. To know the influence of customer trust on purchasing intention done linear regression analysis and t test. After doing these tests then make conclusions and suggestions. From the results of research can be concluded that Shopee Indonesia’s customers trust to gadget products are less good so affecting the intention of purchasing gadget products in Shopee Indonesia is not good . Abstract

The focus of this study was to analyze the factors direct impact on purchase intention of smartphone’s users in Batam. Sample was taken from 400 smartphone’s user most crowded reseller shop in Batam (Nagoya hill and Lucky Plaza). The research data that has been collected and analyzed using the program statistical package for social sciences (smart pls). Results from this study showed a significant and no significant effect of independent on the dependent variable. First, brand awareness has a significant effect on perceived quality. Second, brand awareness and perceived quality has a significant effect on brand loyalty. Thirth, perceived quality, brand loyalty and brand awareness and brand association has a significant effect on purchase intention. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of work-family conflict and intrinsic motivation on job performance. The data used in this research is primary data which is taken by disseminating the questionnaire. Subjects in this research are the employees in 3 companies which are, PT X and BPR X, located in Bandung and Bank X, located in Semarang. A total 206 usable questionnaires were collected. Samples are selected by using probability sampling and convenience sampling method. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regressions. The result showed that only one hypotheses was supported from two hypotheses. The implication of this study is discussed and the suggested research is advanced during the process. Abstract

This research proposed a performance management model based on existing theories, the concept to be developed using qualitative methods. The purpose of this paper is to find the model of performance management system with benchmarking and balanced scorecard approach. The challenge of this research is the implementation of this design model is still a few companies in Indonesia who can apply it. The final implication of this research is to provide a complex model of performance management system for companies that need and will implement it, as well as relevant for practitioners and academics, as it clarifies existing knowledge and provides a platform for further research. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that encourage Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) educators. Two independent variables can be identified are Pschological Capital and Satisfaction. Pschological Capital contributes the most influence to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). If the educators have been satistied, OCB will be created in the college environment. Data analysis is using SEM technique with WarpPLS 6.0 software. The target of this research was expected to educators able to run collaboration and cooperation in teaching, research, and community service, ultimately able to improve college performance. The result of this research Pschological Capital and Satisfaction direct effect to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), but no indirect effect Pschological Capital to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).

Abstract

PT. Petrochemical Gresik is one of the firms that has a terminal to be operated by own company (Terminal for Self-interest / TUKS) which supports the activity of unloading raw materials for production and loading activities to load production results. However, in carrying out its operational activities, it still causes demurrage which is a penalty that must be paid by the shipper to shipowner because it exceeds the time limit agreed in the contract of the ship. In this study, an analysis will be carried out on how to identify waste, analyze the causes of waste in the loading and unloading performance of the ship, and analyze how to minimize the factors causing demurrage in TUKS PT. Petrochemical Gresik. The research method used is lean six sigma by integrating the concept of lean process (7 waste) to the six sigma tools namely DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). The results of the research at the define phase can be identified into twenty-one CTQ (Critical to Quality) with the highest waste value, namely the internal equipment breakdown category which will only be analyzed further. Subsequently, the measurement phase is identified by the value of DPMO (Defect per Million Opportunities) and six sigma capabilities. Furthermore, the analyze phase is done by finding the root of the problem using fishbone diagrams and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to attain the value of RPN (Risk Priority Number) and the highest five RPN values. One out of the five causes that are recommended to be prioritized in the handling is operators do not work according to SOP. Finally, in the improvement phase, the new SOP from the results of discussions / interviews was made with the expert judgment related to the operation of the unloading equipment at TUKS PT. Petrochemical Gresik. By this study, lean six sigma can be applied to minimize the occurrence of demurrage by PT. Petrochemical Gresik and other industrial ports.

Abstract

In 2013 Indonesia has developed Science Techno Park one of them Bandung Techno Park with business incubator Startup Corner. Startup Corner program has stages of joining starting from Registration, Selection through Presentation Startup Then Pre Incubation, Pre Pre-incubation destination to know the area of ??Bandung Techno Park area. Last is implementing Incubation. However, Startup Corner has not been maximized in identifying aspects of opportunities, teams and resources. The purpose of this research is to know the role of Startup Corner in developing startup which has been aspect of opportunity, team, and resources. In this research use descriptive qualitative method, with approach of Timmons Model. The results of the role of Startup Corner in developing startup from aspect of opportunity, team, resource. The role of Startup Corner in developing startup from aspect of opportunity, based on the dimension of idea has played a role in product development and business model, selling price, and then second dimension that is market demand of Startup Corner role that is directing in translating customer so that can assist in reaching customer opportunity and expanding market reach . Furthermore the role of Startup Corner in developing startup of team aspect based on leader dimension and team quality. The Corner Startup has played a role in the leader's dimension through training to shape the entrepreneurial character during Pre Incubation activities. In creating the quality of the team submitted by startup who join but the work culture is advisable to work discipline in accordance with the BTP working hours other than that Startup Corner helps in disseminating recruitment information for startup requiring members. The role of Startup Corner in developing startup from the aspect of resources. Startup Corner has provided physical facilities, then assistance to make the legality of a business entity, patent but there is no funding for the sustainability of a startup, then diverted in incubation or other programs.

Abstract

The three main objectives of this study are: a) to test and analyze the effects of transformational and transactional leadership to teamwork positively; b) to test and analyze the effect of teamwork direct and positive impact on the performance of the work; c) to examine and analyze the influence of transformational and transactional leadership direct and positive impact on job performance. The study sample consisted of 121 (one hundred and twenty one) leaders who work in 17 (seventeen) private companies operating in the city of Bandung. Two of the five hypotheses are supported, which hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). There are several findings from this study is the first transformational leadership positively affect teamwork, but does not affect the transactional leadership team cooperation positively. The second is teamwork does not affect the performance of work directly and positively. The third is transformational leadership directly affects job performance and positive, but transactional leadership does not affect job performance. The implications of this research was discussed as well as suggestions for future research. Abstract

Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis have long been used by investors as an analysis instrument to predict the stock price in gaining optimal return. The purpose of this study is to test the predictive ability of Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis model partially, then simultaneously test the integrated model of both analysis. The scope of this study includes the listed companies in LQ 45 stock exchange during 2007- 2016 period. The Fundamental Variable used in this study are Earning per Share (EPS), Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) and Return on Equity (ROE). The Technical Variable used is the price during the previous six months ( price t-0.5), Positive extreme price increase (D-Up), and Negative extreme price decline momentum (D-Down). The result of this study shows that Technical Model produces highest predictive ability compared to the other two models, while Integration model produces higher predictive ability compared to fundamental model. Using Integration model, EPS variable affects positively and significant, DPR variable affects negatively and insignificant, ROE variable, t-0.5, and D-Up affect positively and significant, while variable D down affects negatively and insignificant to the Stock Price. This result indicates that investors need to combine both analysis models i.e. fundamental and technical to generate optimal stock returns. Abstract

Bandung is a city in Indonesia with big tourism potential. Culinary tourism is one of the most iconic tourism themes in Bandung. One of the most demanded culinary is Japanese Fusion style food that Zenbu-House of Mozaru in Paris Van JavaMall (Zenbu PVJ). In order to increase consumer’s interest, management needs strategies are based from service quality, product quality, store atmosphere and e-WOM. This study uses non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. Based on index assessment, respondents rate service quality, product quality, and store atmosphere good rating whereas e-WOM is rated with moderate assessment. Overall the purchasing decision process is rated with good assessment. This study uses multiple regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination analysis as the analysis tools. The result shows that service quality, product quality, store atmosphere, and e-WOM are simultaneously influenced the purchasing decision process of Zenbu PVJ. While partially, service quality, and e-WOM influence the purchasing decision process whereas product quality and store atmosphere do not influence the purchasing decision process.
