Abstract

Hiperkolesterolemia merupakan suatu kondisi meningkatnya  konsentrasi kolesterol total dalam  darah  yang  melebihi  nilai  normal.  Terdapat hubungan antara peningkatan kadar kolesterol total dengan Usia menopause. Buah tin mengandung antioksidan yang tinggi sehingga diyakini mampu membantu menurunkan kadar kolesterol total.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar kolesterol total wanita menopause hiperkolesterolemia sebelum dan sesudah pemberian teh buah tin.Penelitian  ini  merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan  rancangan  Pre test-Post test Control Group Design pada 40  wanita menopause yang mengalami hiperkolesterolemia. Sample berjumlah 40 wanita menopause dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu: kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Pengambilan sampel mengggunakan teknik random sampling. Analisis normalitas data menggunakan uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan dilanjutkan dengan uji  statistik Paired t-test dan independent t-testuntuk mengetahui perbedaan yang bermakna.Pemberian  teh buah tin pada kelompok intervensi sebanyak 4gr/hari dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol total sebanyak 119,45 mg/dl(p=0,00). Pemberian  air mineral 600 ml/hari pada kelompok kontrol dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol sebanyak 1,15 mg/dl(p=0,072). Perlakuan yang paling efektif dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol total adalah dengan pemberian teh buah tin.Pemberian teh buah tin dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol total secara  signifikan, sedangkan pemberian air mineral tidak dapat menurunkan kolesterol total secara signifikan.

Abstract

The athlete's achievement is related to the athlete's performance in a match. The performance can be seen in blood pressure and pulse. The administration of carbohydrateelectrolyte drinks influenced blood pressure and pulse. Drinks combination of sari dates and NaCl contain carbohydrates and electrolytes which helps to improve the performanceof athletes by delaying fatigue. This research to determine the effect of combination palm juice extracts and NaCl on blood pressure and the period of recovery of the pulse of a soccer athlete. The quasi-experimental cross over study was completed. This research was carried out in the Wates square. Subjects in this study were Hizbul Wathan Wates Football School(SSB) athletes. The subjects received one experimental used 300 ml combination drink of palm juice and NaCl or control drink, namely sugar water after a washout period of six days. Blood pressure measurements were carried out fifteen minutes before exercise and fifteen minutes after exercise, while pulse measurements were carried out fifteen minutesbefore exercise and five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes after exercise. The statistical test used was Shapiro Wilk, Paired t-test and Independent T-test. The results of statistical analysis showed that there was no significant effect on the combination of dates, and NaCl combined with systole and diastolic blood pressure (p> 0.05), and there was a significant effect on the combination of dates palm juice and NaCl on pulse recovery five minutes, ten minutes and fifteen minutes after exercise (p <0.05). There was no significant effect on the combination of date palm juice and NaCl on blood pressure, and there was a significant effect on the combination of dates and NaCl combination drinks on the recovery of pulsefive minutes, ten minutes and fifteen minutes after exercise. Keywords: Dates, NaCl, Soccer, Blood Pressure, Pulse

Abstract

Obesity is one of health problems in Indonesia. The trend of obesity is closely related to diet. Various factors play a role in the onset of obesity, but the most influence is the imbalance between food intake and physical activity. Obesity is condition where body’s weight is more than an ideal weight, which is affected by accumulation of fatty tissue or non fatty tissue including muscle, bone, fat and water. Factors affecting the occurrence of obesity are genetic, damage to one part of the brain, patterns of overeating, lack of movement / exercise, emotional impact, environmental, social economic and influence of drugs. This study used Waist Hip Circumference Ratio. Waist Hip Circumference Ratio can be used to detect excess fat on a person's body and accurately to detect the cause of Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) risk, some types of cancers, hypercholesterolemia, and hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between knowledge of obesity and housewives’ Waist Hip Circumference Ratio in Pepe Krajan village, Tegowanu district,Grobogan town.The results of the correlation test with 50 sample respondents showed that 56,0 % of respondents have high-level knowledge about obesity, 32.0% of respondents have mediumlevel knowledge about obesity, and 12.0% of respondents have a low-level knowledge about obesity. The greatest number of obesity cases occurs in the age group of 30-39 years, whichwere 15 people (30.0%). Most of housewives are graduated under elementary school, which is 50%. In addition, 56.0% of housewives do not have occupation. Respondents who have highest Waist Hip Circumference Ratio were 6 people (12.0%). Spearman Rank-analysis results showed there is no correlation between housewives’ knowledge about obesity and their waist hip ratio, with a value of r = - 0.746 and p = 0.000. To sum up, the higher the knowledge level is the lower their waist hip ratio is.Keywords: knowledge of obesity and waist hip ratio

Abstract

The toddler years are the first five-year period in a child's life every human being A golden age is very important , especially physical growth . At this time 90 % of individual brain cells grow and thrive . When the golden age of children neglected , it will be a problem for the toddler, now and in the future.The research is analytical research with Pre - experimental research method and a one- group pre - test post - test design . This study aims are to determine the effect of supplementary feeding on recovery changes in weight BGM worm at the area of Kelambu health center at Grobogan regency . Samples were taken by means of saturation sampling , as the sample of all infants BGM worm.There is a difference in weight before and after the administration of PMT – P (p = 0.000) , there is a correlation between energy intake with changes of body weight (p = 0.000), and there is a correlation between proteins intake with changes of body weight,(p = 0.000).Keywords :PMT-P, changes of baody weight, BGM worm

Abstract

Banana blossom is a food rich in nutrients. During this time the benefits of banana blossomis limited to vegetable product such as jerky and "abon". Cornetsubstitution with banana blossom is one of the efforts to diversify the utilization ofbanana blossomin and have aim to produce corned with low fat content.Bananablossom when it has undergone a processing process has a fibrous texture almost the same as the texture of beef. The objective of this study was to determine the fat, protein content and sensory characteristics of corned beef with banana blossom substitution.The method used was experimental method by making corned beef with mixture ofbanana blossom material with treatment 0%, 15%, 30%, 45%,60% then, cornedyielded test fat content, protein content and sensory properties. Increasing the banana blossom substitution in corned beef causes a decrease in fat content. The lowest fat content is produced from 60% substitution of banana heart, 0.75%. The addition of banana heart also caused small decrease protein levels.Substitutiom 30 and 45% have decrease significant fat content, small decrease in protein levels and taste and texture similar to corned beef, but the color tends to turn brown. Abstract

Football athletes need a heart-lung endurance which describes the capacity to perform activities continuously for long periods without experience significant fatigue. Fulfillment of nutrients, especially vitamin was important to meet the physical needs for activities in their daily lives. One effort to get a good freshness  good nutritional status and adequacy of the proper nutrients. Lack of vitamin C can lead to lower body resistance weakened muscle contraction and fatigue. Symptoms of vitamin C deficiency is characterized by deterioration of physical appearance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of vitamin C intake with physical fitness in football athletes in Sports Training and Education Center of CentralJava. Population of this study is all football athletes as many as 35 people. All of they were investigated. The data of vitamin C intake was measured by the method of weighing and 2 days food recall Physical fitness was measured by the method of the Asian Committee on the Standardization of Pysicial Fitness Test (ACSPFT). The Kolmogorov –Smirnov test was used to test the normally distribution of the data and the Pearson or Rank Spearman corelation test was used to analysis the correlation between the vitamin C intake and physical fitness level score. The results showed that the average of vitamin C intake is 83.84 mg. All of  football athletes consume the sufficient levels of vitamin C (100% and up of RDA. The average of football athelete’s physical fitness level score is 446.6 65.7% (excellent). The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that yhe data of vitamin C intake and physical fitness score no normally distribution. By using the Rank-Spearman correlation test,  there is no correlation between the vitamin C intake and the physical fitness level of the  PLPP football athletes. In Central Java Sports Training and Education Center Student the football athlete’s  Vitamin C consumption level is normal and the  physical fitness categories is excellent. There is no correlation. between the vitamin C intake  and the physical fitness level of the  PLPP football athletes.

Abstract

In sports, coffee began to be consumed often before exercise to improve the performance of exercise and inhibits the occurrence of fatigue.  This study aims to prove the benefits of coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance at the adolescent football athletes in the Football School PERSISAC of  Semarang City. This study is experimental study with randomized posttest control group design approach.The Total sample of 24 respondents were divided into two groups. Each group consisted of 12 respondents. The first group is the treatment group and the second group is the control group. The treatment group is given by cofee drink with the concentration 2 gr/150 ml. The sample is taken by using the random sampling methode. Data test muscle strength and muscle endurance tests obtained by measuring the push-ups and sit-ups in one minute, after the exercise was finished. The statistical test used was the Independent Samples T test. There are a differences results of tests of muscle strength and muscle endurance between the treatment group and control group. There are the effectsignificantly of giving coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance.  There are a difference significantly of muscle strength between the treatment groups and the control group (p= 0.00). There are a difference significantly of muscle endurance between the treatment groups and the control group (p= 0.01). There is the effect of coffee on muscle strength and muscle endurance in adolescencesoccer athletes. It is advisable to consume coffee by the dose of 2 g / 150 ml immediately before exercise to review increasing muscle strength and muscle endurance athlete football.Keywords: Coffee, Muscle strength, Muscle endurance, Athletes, Footbal.

Abstract

Obesity is a condition when there is excess body fat accumulation, so that a person's BMI is > 25 kg/????2 and is a risk factor for various diseases. In 2016 the rate of obesity in adolescents in Central Java was 11.19% and in Semarang City was 11.09%, potentially to become a public health problem. The frequency of fast food consumption and sleep duration can affect the occurrence of obesity. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of fast food consumption and quantity of sleep as a risk factor for the incidence of obesity in high school students at Institut Indonesia Semarang. The type of this research is case control. Samples numbered 60 samples consisting of 30 cases and 30 controls. Sampling using random sampling technique. Frequency of fast food consumption with food frequency questionnaire and quantity of sleep with sleep timing questionnaire. Obesity is determined by BMI. Risk factor analysis with chi-square test and odds ratio value. The results showed the incidence of obesity 34 students (6.5%). Students who often consume fast food 28 students (46.7%). Students who have short sleep duration are 28 students (46,7%). There is a relationship between the frequency of fast food consumption with the incidence of obesity, with the value of OR 2.259. There is a relationship between the quantity of sleep with the incidence of obesity with the value of OR 3,0. Often consuming fast food and short sleep quantity are risk factors for obesity, each with a large risk of 2,259 and 3 times.Keywords: Obesity, Fast Food Consumption , Sleep Quantity

Abstract

Depression is a mental disorder caused by severe disappointments such as death, divorce, concerns, bankruptcy, death of a loved one is very marked symptoms of sadness, despair , loss of joy , fatigue and tiredness, lack of appetite , weight loss. In a state of depression decreased appetite, which could interfere with the absorption of nutrients into the body, especially the intake of energy and protein. Total case of depression is estimated over 150 million people. Based on a report in 2012 at the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo contained 5.86 % of 3821 inpatients suffering from depression . The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of depression with levels of energy and proteinintake depressed patients hospitalized in the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. AminoGondohutomo Semarang   This type of research is explanatory research, the research that explains the relationship between two or more variables studied . The method used was a cross-sectional , where the variables studied in the same time. Population of the study is that depressed patients hospitalized on 20 April to 20 June 2013 in the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo criteria Semarang aged 16 years and older. Samples were taken in non probabilitysampling technique with Consecutive Sampling. The results showed as many as 50% of depressed patients have both energy intake and 56.7 % of  depressed patients have good protein intake. Data analysis using chisqure test result thatthe p - value (0.713 and 0.785)> 0:05 so that Ho is accepted it means there is no relationship between the level of depression with the energy and protein intake. This research should be developed further by adding other variables such as nutritional status or the duration of treatment. Keywords: Depression levels, energy intake, protein intake.

Abstract

Weaning food (MP-ASI) is a meal or beverage given to 6-24 months old baby/child to fulfill the nutrient requirement. There are still a lot of fault about the giving of weaning food to 6-12 months old baby. Participative elucidation is a modification of other elucidation methods by direct practicing of making the weaning correctly. The aim of this research is to measure the effect of participative elucidation method about weaning food giving practice toward 6-12 months old child. This research is Pure Experimental Research with Frequent Experiment Program or Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Seventhy six responden of 6-12 months child is divided into 2 groups, with 38 responden of each group. The first groupis the target of participative eludication method (treatment group) and the second is the control group. The Mann-Whitneys different test is using to find out the difference of average increase of giving weaning practise score, between the treatment group and the control group. The increasing of average score of giving weaning practise on the treatment group is higher then the other (control group). The increasing of the average score on the treatment group is 2,39 % 0,755 % and on the control group is 0,29 % 0,515 %.There is a difference of the increasing of the average score of weaning food giving practice between 6-12 months old babys mothers who is given participative eludication method and who is not (p = 0,000). The treatment group is better in weaning foodgiving practice than the control group.The present of participative eludication method can significantly improve the weaning food giving practice of 6-12 months old childs mother and better then lecture.Key words: Weaning Food, Participative Counseling, 6-12 months babies mothers.
