Abstract

Prevalensi penyakit kardiovaskular terus  meningkat sebagai akibat dari perubahan pola makan yang berdampak pada  ketidaknormalan profil lipid dan stres oksidatif . Upaya untuk memperbaiki profil lipid dengan mengkonsumsi bahan makanan mengandung senyawa antioksidan yang berpotensi memperbaiki profil lipid darah. Tujuan penelitian untuk  memperoleh  gambaran kandungan sebagai antioksidan pada formula  kombinasi tepung tempe kedelai  dengan  bekatul.Metode penelitian : Jenis penelitian eksperimental untuk mengetahui kandungan antioksidan yang paling optimum dari formula. Pembuatan formula, (1) tepung tempe kedelai  kuning + tepung bekatul putih, (2 tepung tempe kedelai  hitam + tepung bekatul putih (3) tepung tempe kedelai  kuning + tepung bekatul merah , (4) tepung tempe kedelai  hitam + tepung bekatul merah, dengan komposisi 1:1 dan berat masing-masing 112 gram, pemanis non kalori 3 gram  dan  perasa makanan 3 gram,  dilarutkan dengan air dingin sebanyak 250 cc,Analisa zat gizi menggunakan metode AOAC, 2005Analisa data : Data yang diperoleh dirata-rata dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel, kemudian dibandingkan antar perlakuanHasil Penelitian: Kombinasi TKK+TBM dengan komposisi 1:1 memiliki kandungan isovlavon yang lebih tinggi sedangkan kandungan vitamin E yang paling tinggi terdapat pada kombinasi  TKK+TBP . Ada perbedaan kandungan protein, lemak maupun vitamin E dan KH  antar kelompok perlakuan p≤ 0.05

Abstract

Coronary heart disease is caused by a blockage in vascular system, blocking the flow  of blood into the heart. Due to the blockage, the amount of blood carrying oxygen to the heart decreases, therefore some of the heart’s muscle were unable to function well without enough nutrition and oxygen  ( myocardial infarction ) . The type of  the research is the field of clinical nutrition descriptive analytic crosssectional approach ( short -term approach ). Number of samples 28 respondents consisting of hospital outpatient Tugurejo Semarang . Univariate analysis was to present the frequency distribution . Data normality test performed by Shapiro - Wilks test . Bivariate analysis to examine the relationship between the dependent variable (total cholesterol blood level) and independent variables (fat intake and cholesterol intake) with Spearman Rank correlation.  Total samples are mostly female 18 respondents ( 64.3 % ) , while the largest age group is based on the age of 45-60 years  21 respondents ( 75.0 % . For highest education SMA is the 13 respondents ( 46.4 % ). most of the job is housewife 14 respondents (50,0%)and most of the nutritional status is overweight 17 respondents (60,7%). All of respondents’s cholesterol level are >200 mg/dl (not normal) there are 28 respondents (100%) , there are 15 respondents (53,6%) had not normal fat intake (>25%). There are 17 respondents had not normal cholesterol intake (>300mg/day). Statistical analysis showed there is association between fat intake with total cholesterol levels , and there is association between cholesterolintake with total cholesterol levels. The conclusion is more higher fat intake and cholesterol intake increasing total cholesterol levels.Keywords : Fat Intake , Cholesterol Intake , Total Cholesterol Levels , CHD .

Abstract

There are many versions of the diet to reduce the body weight in Indonesia. One of the diet is food combining (FC). Food Combining is setting a diet tailored to the needs of the body,related the time in the morning, noon and night. The devide of the time are called sirkandian so there are morning sirkandian, noon sirkandian and night sirkandian.The diet that;s refers to abalanced diet in order to get the best results for the purpose of health and other objectives. The specific characteriristics of FC is to be achieved by not mixing the acid food and the alkaliedfood, to be consumed together. Likes another diets, adherence to the rule of FC will be the key of successful in the diet.The aims of this study ia to know the difference of the body weight decline by an adherence of food combining dieters.This study is a analytical study with survey method and cross sectional aprroach. The sample of study is all members of Qita Sehat Dengan FCassociation, amount to 25 people.All of them are FC dieters. The deferent of body weight decline by an adherence of FC dieters were analyzed by Independent t-test.The results showed that generally an adherence of FC dieters are not good, so there are 40 % at morning sirkandian, 56 % at noon sirkandian and 40 % at night sirkandian. In 2 montof the study, the average of body wight dicline of the FC doeters is 3,72 kg. Generally, the body mass index (BMI) of the FC dieters are at normal category. There are many differences in body weight decline that significantly by p < 0.05 between the FC dieters who adherence with who not adherence of the other. There are not differences in BMI significantly by p > 0.05 between the FC dietwrs who adherence with whonot adherence of the others.There is a significantly difference in body weight decline by an adherence of FC dieters.There is not significantly difference in BMI by an adherence of FC dieters.Keywords: Food Combining, body weight decline, obedience, IMT

Abstract

Consumers must be more critical in making decisions before buying food products. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge with student attitudes in purchasing decisions for halal products. The population of this study were the students of Muhammadiyah University of Semarang. The variables that studied were the level of knowledge of halal food and the attitude of decisions for buying halal products. This type of research was observational with a cross sectional design. The tool that used were questionnaires and data analysis by using two stages, namely univariate and bivariate (Simple Linear Regression). The results of the study revealed that the student's knowledge of halal food was the most moderate category at 40.2% and positive positive attitude was 53.6%. Based on statistical tests, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitude in buying halal products.

Abstract

Hypertension disease in Indonesia are increasing every year. Manifestation of hypertension’s symptom can affect to malnutrition status and indirectly affect to length of stay. The objective of this research to know the overviews of malnutrition and length of malnutrition and length of stay of hypertension patient at RSUD Ir. Soekarno, SukoharjoThe research description research with observational approach andcross sectional study design. The sampling techniqueused is consecutive sampling as much as 24 respondents.  The assessment of malnutrition using Subjective Global Assessment, while the patient’s length of stayis obtained by calculating the difference between date of attendance and date of left the hospital. Respondent with female gender is 58,9%. Most respondents are middle age (50%). Level of education elementary school is 41% respondents. The job of respondents 41% are labor. Respondent with hypertension stage 2 with length of stay are 52%. Hypertension stage 2 respondent with length of stay that classified medium as much as 52%. Respondent’s nutritional status that classified as bad nutrition 10,5% and poor nutrition 21,2%. The majority of SGA score of patients is A or not malnutrition.Keywords :  Hypertension, Malnutrition, Length of Stay

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a collection of symptoms that occur in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels due to insulin deficiency both absolute and relative terms (Soegondo, 2007). The purpose of this study to know frequencies relations consultancy with compliance diit nutrition and blood sugar levels of people with Diabetes Mellitus Type IITugurejo Hospital in Semarang.This research is in the field of clinical nutrition with cross sectional approach is presented by means of descriptive and analytical. The study population was all patients with Diabetes Mellitus Type II Outpatient in Hospital Tugurejo Semarang Outpatient July 2012. Samples were taken from a total population of some 34 people who met the inclusion criteria.Types of data collected is primary and secondary.The results showed that the characteristics of the sample by sex most women (73.5%), the largest age 50-59 years (44.1%), highest education level SMA / SMK (38.2%), most work housewife (70.6%), normal nutritional status (41.2%), the frequency of nutritional consultation 2 - 4x (50.0%), adherence diit quite adherent (61.8%), and blood glucose> 200mg / dl (73.5%). Analysis of the data using the Spearman Rank Correlation test showed no association with the frequency of nutritional consultation diit compliance with r = 0.346 and p-value of 0.045 (<0.05) and no relationship diit compliance with blood glucose levels with r= 0.537 and p-value 0.001 (<0.05).Keywords : blood glucose levels, diabetes mellitus, diit compliance

Abstract

Doughnut as one of popular snack by school children. Doughnut development isneeded to improve nutritional quality and physical characteristics. Purple sweet potato as a local food with attractive calour, sweet taste and high anthocyanin can be processed for addition ingredients of doughnut. The purpose of this research was to determine contained of nutrient and acceptance of purple sweet potato doughnut as snack based on local food for school children. This experiment investigated formulation of purple sweet potato doughnut with the ratio of purple sweet potato: wheat flour 20:80 ( F1), and 30:70 (F2). Analyzed of protein nutrients with micro kjehdal, fat with soxhlet and carbohydrates with anthron. Statistical analysis of acceptance used Mann-Whitney test. The result in this study was analyzed of the nutritional value of F1 sweet purple potato doughnut very serving (40g) containing energy: 158.46 kcal, Protein: 5 g, Fat: 9.92 g, Carbohydrates: 12.34 g and F2 energy: 169.51 kcal, Protein: 7.5 g, Fat: 11.32 g, Carbohydrates: 9.4 g. The acceptance test was performed no differences in color, texture, taste and aroma in the two purple sweet potato donuts formulas (p≥0.05). The energy content of F2 can contributed 10.27% energy need of school children.Keyword : children school, doughnut, local food, sweet purple potato

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of stunting toddlers in Indonesia is still high. The causes of stunting include the low nutritional value of food consumed by infants. Foods that are rich in nutrients include cowpea and brown rice. Objective: to determine the acceptability and protein and calcium content of porridge with the addition of cowpea and rice through organoleptic testing. Method: this type ofresearch is quasi-experimental. Data collection through organoleptic test on the baby’s mother and acceptance test in baby. Addition of cowpea and brown rice are X1 cowpea 100% brown rice 50% and X2 cowpea 50% and brown rice 100% Analysis of organoleptic test data on porridge using Mann Whitney. Results: Statistical test results showed that the use of cowpea and brown rice affected the color of the porridge (p=0.00) and the taste of the porridge (p=0.04). The use of cowpea and brown rice had no effect on the aroma of porridge (p=0.06), texture (p=0.93) and preference level (p=0.94). Results acceptance porridge with formula X2 more acceptable than X1 because have a higher average and less limp. The highest content of pro-tein and calcium in porridge at X1 is 3.29% and 70.40 mg / kg. Conclusion: the use of cowpea and brown rice in MP-ASI baby porridge affected the organoleptic test results in the color category, and  he taste of the porridge.Keywords: cowpea, brown rice, weaning food

Abstract

Health profil data of Jayapura Regency, Papua in 2014 is showed the scope of mother’s milk-feeding only 40,28%. It is increasing than in 2012 that only 28,78%. It is showed that exclusive mother’s milk-feeding program in Jayapura City is not success. Purpose of this study is for knowing relationship between the biological mother support, parent-in-law, and husband with exclusive mother’s milk-feeding practice (0-6 months) in Kampung Sereh Wilaya Puskesmas Sentani Papua. This study is analytic applying retrospective approach with case control study design, samples of this study are 69 that determined by random, which is divided into 2 groups, those are, case group (exclusive mother’s milk- feeding) and control group (not exclusive mother’s milk-feeding). Method of collecting data is applying direct interview using questionnaire sheet. Statistical analysis used Chi-Square. There are significant relationship between support of biological mother support (p=0,006), mother-in-law (p = 0,000), and husband (p = 0,007), on practice of exclusive mother’s milk-feeding. Support of biological mother, mother-in-law, and husband has a good support on practice of exclusive mother’s milk-feeding. Keywords : Biological Mother, parent-in-law, husband, Exclusive Mother’s Milk-feeding.

Abstract

Blood pressure is the amount of force that blood is pressed against the walls of the arteries (arteries) when the heart pumps the blood to all the human body. Blood pressure is one of important indicator in maintaining of healthy body, because the high of blood pressure or hypertension in the long term will lead to stretching the walls of the arteries and lead to rupture of blood vessels . Hypertension is a condition when the blood pressure in the vessels elevated chronically. Hypertension is a global health problem that requires attention because it can cause death in all countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of dosage variation yellow watermelon on the blood pressure in elderly at Panti Wredha Bala Keselamatan Bugangan Semarang.This study is a pre-experimental, with pre-post test. Samples are elderly people living in Panti Wredha Bala Keselamatan Bugangan Semarang with normal blood pressure. The sample size is 15 people. The influence of dosage variation yellow watermelon on the blood pressure were analyzed by T-test.There are 10 persons of sampel are women and 5 persons of sampel are men. The big part of sampel are 60 74 years old, with the youngest is 58 years old and the oldest is 94 years old. There are 8 persons of samples are normal on nutritional status, 6 persons of samples are over wight and 1 person is obesitas. There are the influence of dosage variation yellow watermelon on systolic blood pressure (p value of 0.015). There are also the influence of dosage variation yellow watermelon on the diastolic blood pressure (p value 0.009).There are the influence of the dosage variations of yellow watermelon on blood pressure in elderly at Panti Wredha Bala Keselamatan Bugangan Semarang.Keywords: The Dosage of Yellow Watermelon, The Blood Pressure, The Elderly
