Abstract

This research aims to analyze the contribution of sport in improving individual moral values through a systematic literature review approach. This study evaluates various relevant literature to identify the relationship between participation in sports activities and the development of moral values, such as honesty, responsibility, cooperation and respect. Through systematic selection and analysis of data from journals, books and research reports, it was found that sport can be an effective medium in moral formation, especially through social interaction, healthy competition and application of game rules. Factors such as the role of the coach, the sporting environment and the type of sport undertaken also influence the extent to which moral values can be developed. This finding also shows that the integration of moral values in sports does not happen automatically but requires a structured approach and awareness from all parties involved. Therefore, it is important to design training programs that do not only focus on the physical aspect but also emphasize the learning of ethical values explicitly. The results of this research provide insight for educational practitioners, sports coaches, and policy makers to integrate moral values into sports programs as a character building strategy.

Abstract

The development of archery achievements in Indonesia so far has not been able to reach the limits of the Olympics and the development of achievements in Indonesia only focuses on the national level and on the Asian scale due to several factors, including the lack of infrastructure for archery because the infrastructure includes a fairly large field, for example the field. football or red soil whose ground must be level. As well as management management which is still less focused on developing archers in the regions, especially in Indonesia. There is a lot of archery in Indonesia that needs to be addressed both in terms of management and infrastructure, including in areas that lack knowledge of sport science and good management, with the existence of sport science in Indonesia and good management of sports, especially archery in Indonesia, this can change aspects of archery. the lack of achievement becomes the number of achievements so that archery in Indonesia can compete in the Olympic championship and gain good achievements. With this method of physical condition exercise, it can be used properly and correctly to add insight into the media used. The method used is using cluster analysis using the Physical Condition Endurance Method for Archery.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training methods and motivation on increasing cardiovascular endurance in pencak silat athletes. The research sample was 40 athletes of pencak silat in East Jakarta. The sampling technique used refers to the procedure stated by Verducci. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a 2x2 Treatment by Level Research Design. The technique used is a two-way analysis of variance with a 2 x 2 factorial design with a significance level of 0.05. In general, the results of the study based on the results of the analysis of variance, obtained a significant Fcount <0.05, a significant level, which means the research hypothesis. Thus, the increase in cardiovascular endurance can be influenced by exercise methods and motivation. For researchers who are interested in this issue, can conduct further research by trying othervariables that are quite influential on the cardiovascular endurance of pencak silat athletes, to develop research in the field of sports, especially pencak silat sports

Abstract

Plyometric training has become an integral component of modern volleyball training programs to improve explosive power and vertical jump performance. This literature review analyzed 45 empirical studies published between 2015-2024 to evaluate the effectiveness of plyometric training in volleyball athletes. The results of the analysis showed that plyometric training significantly increased vertical jump height (8-25%), explosive power (12-30%), and spike performance (10-20%) in volleyball athletes. Plyometric programs with a duration of 6-12 weeks, a frequency of 2-3 times per week, show optimal results. However, variations in training protocols, subject characteristics, and research methodologies create a heterogeneity of outcomes that need to be considered in practical implementation. This literature review provides evidence-based recommendations for practitioners in designing effective plyometric training programs for volleyball athletes.

Abstract

Public interest in sports plays a crucial role in improving health, fitness, and active participation in physical activities. Observations in Puri Anggrek indicate that although volleyball is quite popular, community involvement is not yet optimal. This study aims to analyze the level of interest in volleyball among the Puri Anggrek community based on intrinsic and extrinsic factors. The research method used a descriptive approach with 66 respondents aged 20–40 years selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using a closed-ended questionnaire containing 33 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used descriptive statistics in the form of mean, median, standard deviation, and interest categorization based on standard deviation intervals. The results showed that overall community interest was in the moderate category. Intrinsic factors, including enjoyment, attention, and activity, were also in the moderate category, as were extrinsic factors, including environmental and family support. These findings illustrate that community interest has been established, but still requires strengthening through increasing positive experiences, access to activities, and consistent environmental support.

Abstract

Physical education is a learning process that utilizes physical activity as a medium to achieve educational goals. It not only utilizes physical activity to achieve the goals of physical education, but also other equally important aspects, namely psychological and social aspects, to build a better character for children. To achieve learning goals, students must be motivated in learning activities. Because learning outcomes will be optimal if students be motivated from within themselves (internal) and from outside (external). According to observations made by researchers, obstacles to student motivation can be influenced by environmental conditions. Therefore, by using the inquiry learning model, it is expected that students can increase their motivation in learning influenced by the inquiry learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence on learning in cycle I and Cycle II. This study is a continuous experimental study and quantitative research using Classroom Action Research design. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 4 Tarogong Kidul Class IX-G, totaling 30 people. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. Data analysis in this study used tests, observations, questionnaire tests. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it stated that there were changes in cycles I and II from the results of the questionnaire respondent data distributed with a percentage value of 80.0%.

Abstract

The need for structured and standardized learning materials in Tapak Suci martial arts has become increasingly urgent, especially at the junior high school level where instructional resources are often limited. This study aimed to develop and validate an illustrated instructional textbook to support systematic Tapak Suci learning. The ADDIE model was employed, covering analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Expert validation was conducted by a media specialist and a Tapak Suci material expert, while practicality testing involved 10 students. The media expert provided a score of 9/9 (100%), indicating excellent visual quality and usability. The material expert also assigned a score of 9/9 (100%), confirming content accuracy and alignment with Tapak Suci fundamentals. Practicality testing produced a 100% positive response, showing that students found the textbook easy to understand and suitable for skill practice. These results demonstrate that the developed textbook is highly valid and practical, supporting its feasibility for use in Tapak Suci instruction at junior high schools.

Abstract

This study reveals the positive impact of using audiovisual media in teaching Kang's Escape athletics to fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Suka Mukti. The main findings indicate a significant influence of audiovisual media on students' learning motivation, evidenced by a strong significance value (p < 0.05). This suggests that the use of videos, animations, or multimedia presentations in athletics learning can stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm, thus encouraging them to learn more actively and enthusiastically. The results of this study are in line with the importance of the role of learning media in creating effective and efficient teaching and learning processes. Audiovisual media, with its ability to present information in an interesting and interactive format, has proven to be able to overcome students' passive behavior and encourage active participation in learning. The use of this media is also in line with the differentiated learning approach that recognizes the diversity of students' needs and abilities, providing opportunities for each student to reach their maximum potential. Overall, this study confirms that the integration of audiovisual media in learning, especially in the context of Kang's Escape athletics, has a significant positive impact on students' learning motivation. These findings provide empirical support for educators to make better use of the potential of audiovisual media in creating a more conducive learning environment and motivating students to learn more diligently.
