Abstract

This study examines how User Experience and System Responsiveness influence the continued use of the Livin’ by Mandiri application among students of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, with User Satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach, and the data are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of the SmartPLS software. The participants in this study are active students from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, who actively use the Livin’ by Mandiri application. The results demonstrate that User Experience and System Responsiveness both have a positive and significant impact on User Satisfaction. Furthermore, User Experience and User Satisfaction significantly contribute to the continued use of the application. However, System Responsiveness does not show a significant direct influence on continued use. The mediation analysis further indicates that User Satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between User Experience and continued use, while it does not mediate the relationship between System Responsiveness and continued use. These findings highlight the critical role of user satisfaction in encouraging the sustained use of digital banking applications over time.

Abstract

This study examines the role of interline cooperation in enhancing operational efficiency within the aviation industry from a digital business ecosystem perspective. It specifically investigates how digital integration strengthens this relationship and how operational challenges may constrain it. A qualitative case study approach was employed, using semi-structured interviews with eight aviation professionals involved in operations, network planning, and interline coordination. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis with an NVivo-style coding process. The findings reveal that interline cooperation contributes to operational efficiency by enabling network expansion, improving resource utilization, and reducing operational redundancies. The results also indicate that digital integration plays a significant role in enhancing coordination through real-time data exchange and system interoperability, thereby strengthening the effectiveness of interline cooperation. However, several operational challenges such as system incompatibility, coordination complexity, and demand mismatch were found to limit these efficiency gains. This study contributes to the literature by integrating interline cooperation, digital integration, and operational challenges within a digital business ecosystem framework to explain operational efficiency. It also provides practical insights for airline managers to optimize collaborative strategies through improved digital alignment and operational coordination.

Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the impact of learning agility and employee engagement on employee performance, with adaptability serving as a mediator. The research employed a quantitative, explanatory design involving 99 employees from the telecommunications and technology-based communication services sectors in Indonesia. Data were collected via a questionnaire using a 1–5 Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4. The findings indicate that learning agility has a positive and significant impact on adaptability, while adaptability also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Learning agility and employee engagement do not show a significant direct impact on employee performance. Employee engagement also does not have a significant impact on adaptability. Mediation tests show that adaptability fully mediates the effect of learning agility on employee performance, but does not mediate the effect of employee engagement on employee performance. These results emphasize that employees’ learning abilities will be more effective in improving performance when optimized by the ability to adapt to changes in work, technology, and the organizational environment.

Abstract

Employee productivity within a company is shaped by workforce capability, occupational demands, and professional drive. This study aims to elucidate how human resource capability and task load impact personnel output, utilizing professional drive as an intervening variable within Bank Jakarta. Adopting a quantitative approach, five-point Likert scale questionnaires were administered to a sample of 84 staff members, with data subsequently evaluated via Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The outcomes demonstrate that both professional capability and operational demands exert a significant, positive influence on staff output and their professional drive. While professional drive fails to intervene in the connection between task load and staff output, individual capability does exhibit an interdependent relationship with productivity, which is fully intervened by professional drive. Ultimately, these insights contribute to theoretical advancement, concurrent task-load optimization strategies, and modern drive-enhancement techniques to elevate workforce output. Both capability and drive are mutually reinforcing components essential for operational efficiency, while strategic task management remains vital for maintaining balanced workforce output.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Master of Management (MM) studies and work experience on workplace decision-making ability, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. A VOSviewer bibliometric analysis of 30 Scopus-indexed journals identified that this integrated model remains underexplored in management contexts, particularly in publications after 2020. A quantitative approach was employed with data collected from 98 respondents active MM students or graduates currently employed via an online questionnaire. Hypotheses were tested using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4 (SRMR = 0.077). Results indicate that MM studies significantly influence self-efficacy (β = 0.269, p = 0.008), and work experience significantly influences both self-efficacy (β = 0.535, p < 0.001) and workplace decision-making directly (β = 0.518, p < 0.001). However, self-efficacy did not significantly mediate either relationship, and MM studies showed no direct effect on decision-making. These findings suggest that practical work experience is a more immediate driver of self-efficacy and decision-making capacity than formal postgraduate education, especially when studies are still in progress. Future research should replicate this study with larger samples of MM graduates and longitudinal designs to more definitively assess the mediating role of self-efficacy.

Abstract

The main aim of the present study is to explore the direct and indirect influence of Work-life Balance and Digitalization on Employee Performance with the mediating role of Organizational Commitment in the Indonesia employment scenario. This quantitative study involved a total of 60 employees. The hypothesis was tested by structural equation modeling (SEM) within the Smart-PLS program. The output showed that Work-life balance doesn't have a big impact on commitment to the company. (t-value: 1.316). Digitalization has a positive and substantial effect on Organizational Commitment (t-value: 5.107). Moreover, the direct effects of both Work-life Balance (t: 0.793) and Digitalization (t: 1.696) on Employee Performance are insignificant. On the other hand, the Organizational Commitment contributes considerably in improving directly the Performance (t-value: 2.471). The data support the mediation study for Work-life Balance and Performance, where Organizational Commitment does not mediate the connection (t: 0.971). However, it is a very important mediator in the relationship between Digitalization and Employee Performance (t-value: 2.073).

Abstract

This research examines how family support and self-efficacy influence the entrepreneurial aspirations of housewives in Depok City, where access to training is a mediating variable. Employing quantitative explanatory survey methodology with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS, stratified random sampling within five sub-districts was employed with 100 respondents. Results indicate that family support significantly influences training access (β = 0.339, p < 0.01), while self-efficacy significantly affects both training access (β = 0.510, p < 0.01) and entrepreneurial interest (β = 0.390, p < 0.01). The strongest predictor of entrepreneurial interest was training access (β = 0.486, p < 0.01). Family support has no direct impact on entrepreneurial interest, but it is fully mediated through training access (β = 0.164, p < 0.05). Self-efficacy partially mediates through training access (β = 0.248, p < 0.01). This model accounts for 34.4% and 55.9% of variance in entrepreneurial interest and training access respectively. The following findings emphasize that self-efficacy and training access are significant determinants of entrepreneurial interest, whereas family support works through some indirect mechanism. Policy considerations highlight the demand for flexible and accessible training and self-efficacy development programs aimed at housewives in the urban Indonesian context.

Abstract

This research seeks to scrutinize how TikTok influencers’ perceived credibility and authenticity shape consumers’ inclination to make a purchase of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) students toward endorsed products. The expanding use of influencer marketing on social media, particularly on TikTok, highlights the need to provide a clearer account of how influencer characteristics affect consumer behavior. Employing a quantitative research design, this study uses a survey method with respondents consisting of UNJ students who actively use TikTok and follow at least one influencer. To test the proposed research model, the data were processed using the analytical framework was operationalized using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) within the SmartPLS platform. These findings suggest that purchase intention toward influencer-promoted products is influenced by a more complex decision-making process, where influencer credibility and authenticity may operate indirectly or in conjunction with other factors rather than as direct predictors. This study deepens the theoretical grounding of influencer marketing research by emphasizing the complex and contextual role of influencer characteristics in influencing consumer behavior on TikTok. Future research is recommended to incorporate mediating or moderating variables to better explain the mechanisms underlying purchase intention in social media contexts.

Abstract

This study analyzes how the turnover intention among Generation Z workers was affected by their stress and their level of job satisfaction. A purposive sampling technique was used to obtain the data, and the data were gathered from 107 respondents using online questionnaires. The data analysis method used the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) model from SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that Gen-Z employees’ work stress has a significant and negative effect on the level of their job satisfaction, so does the job satisfaction on their turnover intention. Work stress also plays a significant part on turnover intention by positively affecting it, while job satisfaction mediates this relationship.
