Abstract

Privacy and security are two crucial issues in the era of digital communication. The rapid development of technology has created various challenges in protecting personal information and maintaining security in cyberspace. The main challenges faced in digital communication include identity theft, data breaches, cyber attacks, and misuse of personal information. Solutions include the use of encryption, security software, education and awareness raising, regulation and enforcement, and individual responsibility. Therefore, it is important to emphasise the collective efforts and constant vigilance of various parties, including individuals, companies, and governments, to create a safer and more trusted digital environment. With a comprehensive and adaptive approach to technological developments, it is expected to protect privacy rights, reduce the risk of cyber threats, and promote sustainable growth of the digital economy.

Abstract

Environmental campaigns on social media have become an increasingly popular tool to promote changes in people's behaviour towards a more environmentally friendly lifestyle. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of such campaigns in influencing people's behaviour change. The study in this research uses the literature method. The results show that environmental campaigns on social media have significant potential to raise public awareness and drive short-term behaviour change. However, to achieve sustainable behaviour change, these campaigns must be part of a more holistic strategy, involve collaboration with various stakeholders, and be supported by relevant policies and initiatives. This study provides important insights into the role of social media campaigns in addressing environmental challenges and highlights the need for an integrated approach to achieve lasting behaviour change in society.

Abstract

Inequality is a complex and multidimensional global phenomenon, with varying levels and characteristics among countries with different levels of development. Common trends identified include the increase in inequality in recent decades, the link between inequality and differential access to opportunities, and the negative impact of inequality on economic growth, socio-political stability and people's well-being. The review concludes that a comprehensive and inclusive approach is needed to address economic and social inequality. This should involve collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society in implementing policies that promote equity, such as progressive tax reforms, investment in education and skills training, expanded access to healthcare and social protection, and the promotion of inclusive and sustainable economic growth. In addition, efforts are needed to strengthen governance, fight corruption, and promote transparency and accountability in public decision-making.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the implementation of inclusive education principles in Early Childhood Education institutions concerning children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and the impact of these approaches on the child's overall development. Hyperactive conduct renders youngsters incapable of remaining seated, executing tasks autonomously, and adhering to instructions from the teacher. Children with ADHD struggle to concentrate on their studies due to an inability to focus, a lack of attentiveness to instructor directions, and difficulties remaining still. A case study at PAUD IT Mutiara Scholar Lubuk Linggau examined the management of children with ADHD within the implemented learning process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method utilizing a case study approach to furnish a comprehensive grasp of the occurrences encountered by the subjects of the study. The research findings elucidate the correlation between the management of children with ADHD in educational settings and the strategies that promote their developmental growth in alignment with their chronological age. The function of institutions in managing children during teaching and learning activities in schools is anticipated to impact children's behaviors and attitudes. The teacher's responsibility for students with ADHD encompasses educating, instructing, guiding, directing, training, and assessing. Third, the involvement of parents in the education of children with ADHD, fostering social and emotional bonds, is crucial for addressing the child's deficiencies.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) requires regular hemodialysis therapy to replace impaired kidney function. However, this procedure often causes anxiety that impacts psychological well-being and patient compliance with treatment. One of the developing non- pharmacological interventions is Virtual Reality (VR), which is used as a distraction technique to reduce anxiety during hemodialysis. This review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using VR in reducing anxiety in patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. This study is a systematic review with a literature search from the Google Scholar, ProQuest, and PubMed databases for the period 2020–2025. The keywords "Virtual Reality," "Anxiety," and "Hemodialysis" were used with Boolean operators to filter the search results. Studies were selected based on the PICOS framework, and their quality was assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). Of the 1,414 studies found (960 from Google Scholar, 129 from ProQuest, and 325 from PubMed), four relevant studies were identified and further analyzed. The review results showed that VR is effective in reducing anxiety in hemodialysis patients. VR serves as a cognitive distraction, relaxation method, and parasympathetic response stimulant that helps reduce stress hormone levels and increase patient comfort during procedures. The implementation of VR has the potential to improve patient comfort, minimize dependence on anti-anxiety medications, and support technological innovation in healthcare. Further research is needed to explore the duration, frequency, and type of VR content that is most effective in reducing anxiety in hemodialysis patients and its impact on other psychological aspects, such as quality of life and adherence to therapy.

Abstract

Researchers made initial observations of students' abilities regarding facial makeup. Problems were found in geriatric makeup materials. This is due to the boring learning model and the learning strategies applied by the teacher, which limit students from exploring their knowledge, while an effective learning environment can increase student competency. The goal of this investigation was to ensure: (1) implementation of syntax; (2) improvement of students' competence in doing geriatric makeup; and (3) student responses to the PjBL learning model. In this study, classroom action research (CAR) of this kind was employed, and the participants were 26 students from SMK Negeri 3 Kediri. The results showed: (1) The implementation of the syntax of the PjBL learning model from cycle I to cycle II had been corrected appropriately so that there was an increase in mark. (2) The success rate on cognitive learning outcomes tests increased from 69.23% to 96.15%; the success rate on performance tests increased from 84.61% to 96.15%; the percentage of students' attitude scores with good and very good predicates were initially 88, 46%, and 11.54%; the numbers increased to 42.31% and 57.69%. (3) The percentage of students' responses to the predicate of very good and good was initially 31% and 31% of 26 students, but the number increased to 54% and 35% of 26 students. The percentage in the sufficient category decreased from 19% to 11%.
