Abstract

Harmonics are a phenomenon that arises due to the use of non-linear loads in electric power systems. Harmonic problems in electric power systems are increasingly complex with the increasing use of non-linear equipment (for example: LED lights). In this research, harmonic measurements were carried out using a Power Analyzer measuring instrument. Measurements were taken for the Taxiway Light load on the South Runway at Soekarno Hatta Airport which uses LED lights. The measurement results show that high harmonic currents are still visible, exceeding the standard value of short circuit ratio for electrical installations of 15%. The largest harmonic currents are detected in the 3rd order with a frequency of 150 Hz (3 x 50 Hz). The percentage of current harmonics in the 3rd order reaches 108.02%, while the voltage harmonics have almost the same spectrum characteristics and occur in the odd order. The most significant voltage harmonics were detected in the 5th order, namely 5 x 50 Hz = 250 Hz with an average percentage of harmonic voltage at this frequency of 1.54%.

Abstract

In aircraft maintenance, it is necessary to calculate the workload, to find out how much manpower is needed for a job. Determining manpower requirements to ensure maintenance work is carried out in an efficient manner and at a high level of quality. The Aviation Facilities Calibration Center (BBKFP) still applies a conventional approach in carrying out maintenance, with crowds without a clear manpower estimate for the work carried out by technicians. The method for calculating workload on Maintenace Phase 1 King Air B200 series is the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method. The purpose of this research is to find out the amount of workload in Maintenance Phase 1 of the KingAir B200 series, to find out the suitability of the optimal number of manpower in Maintenance Phase 1 of the King Air B200 Series, and to find out the number of technicians that corresponds to the workload from the FTE calculations in Maintenance Phase 1 of the King Air B200 Series. The results of this research showed that 63.63% of the sections were still in the Overload condition, 9.09% were in the Underload category and 27.27% were in the Fit / Normal Category.

Abstract

The development and test of electric motors on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) requires a sophisticated and efficient approach. This research discusses the design of innovative UAV electric motor test equipment applications using Python software-based Graphic User Interface (GUI). The main objective of this application is to provide an intuitive and effective user interface to control, monitor, and test the performance of UAV electric motors. In this study, the waterfall method was used for system development. Preliminary test results show that the application is easy to use and efficient in testing UAV electric motors. It is hoped that this design will help the development of UAV technology by providing easy-to-use and reliable test equipment for researchers, technicians, and developers in the field of unmanned flight.

Abstract

Public toilets, especially at airports, play an important role in ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of traveling passengers. The unavailability of tissue and soap in toilets is often a problem at airports. This research aims to develop a soap and tissue monitoring system in airport toilets based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) technology and the Thingsboard platform. The prototype system for monitoring the availability of airport soap and toilet tissue was successfully created using an Arduino Nano, SIM7000C and was able to communicate with the Thingsboard via the MQTT protocol, making it possible to monitor the availability of sanitation facilities in real-time. The measurement results show that the device can operate well using an IMR 18650 battery for up to 27 hours. This system is able to provide information on the level of contents of soap containers and the capacity of available tissue along with its location. This research underlines the potential of IoT technology in overcoming the problem of unavailability of soap and tissue, aimed at increasing user comfort and maintaining the cleanliness of public facilities at airports.

Abstract

Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport is an airport located in the West Semarang District, Semarang City. This airport has departure and arrival terminals that facilitate domestic and international flights. Ahmad Yani International Airport also has a runway (13-31) with a length of 2,560 meters. There is airport lighting system equipment whose function is to assist and serve aircraft taking off and landing so that they can operate in cloudy, cloudy weather and at night in the runway, taxiway and apron areas. One of the equipment in the airport lighting system is the runway edge lights. Currently, the runway edge lights installed at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport still use halogen type lights, which require quite a large amount of electrical power and the electricity costs incurred are not small. Replacing halogen type runway edge lights with Light Emitting Diode (LED) runway edge lights as an effort to efficiently use electrical energy. In this study the author used a comparative method to determine the comparison of the efficiency of using electrical energy between the two types of LED runway edge lights and halogen runway edge lights. From the comparison data carried out, it can be concluded that replacing halogen runway edge lights with LED runway edge lights has been proven to increase the efficiency of electrical power usage over a long period of time. From the specification data, LED lamps have a longer life time, namely 56,000 hours compared to halogen lamps, which is only 1000 hours, so the savings are also greater. From power calculations, it can be seen that LED runway edge lights have more power efficiency than halogen runway edge lights. The total power of halogen runway edge lights (2 circuits) was 21,480.58 watts, while LED runway edge lights (2 circuits) decreased by 56.2% to 9,400.58 watts.

Abstract

Pengukuran tahanan isolasi pada kabel dan trafo lampu approach light yang terpasang di runway 35 adalah langkah penting dalam memastikan keamanan dan keandalan sistem penerangan di Bandar Udara Abdulrachman Saleh Malang. Tahanan isolasi yang tinggi pada komponen ini sangat krusial untuk mencegah kebocoran arus yang dapat menyebabkan kegagalan sistem atau bahaya kebakaran. Pengujian dilakukan pada kabel FL2XCY dan trafo approach light menggunakan megger isolation tester pada berbagai bar lampu di sirkuit CCR 1 dan CCR 2 yaitu bar 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, dan 7. Data dianalisis berdasarkan standar PR 26 TAHUN 2022 TENTANG PEDOMAN TEKNIS OPERASIONAL KESELAMATAN PENERBANGAN SIPIL secara kuantitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang kondisi isolasi kabel dan trafo approach light serta memberikan rekomendasi perawatan yang sesuai dengan PR 26 tahun 2022 untuk menjaga kinerja yang optimal dari sistem penerangan bandar udara demi kelesamatan penerbangan. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan nilai tahanan isolasi kabel FL2XCY CCR 1 pada approach light runway 35 dengan jarak rangkaian keseluruhan sepanjang 3720 meter memiliki nilaitahanan isolasi sebesar 42 MΩ dan CCR 2 jarak rangkaian keseluruhan sepanjang 3600 meter memiliki tahanan isolasi sebesar 40 MΩ. Sesuai PR 26 Tahun 2022, untuk panjang rangkaian 3000 sampai 6000 meter, nilai tahanan isolasi minimum yang dipersyaratkan adalah 40 MΩ. Hal Ini menandakan bahwa tahanan isolasi kabel FL2XCY CCR 1 dan CCR 2 pada approach light runway 35 masih memenuhi nilai tahanan isolasi yang dipersyaratkan oleh PR 26 Tahun 2022. Dalam rangkaian approach light runway terdapat tanahan isolasi yang bervariasi dari 2250 MΩ hingga 3240 MΩ untuk kabel FL2XCY dan 2450 MΩ hingga 6500 MΩ untuk trafo. Dengan melakukan perawatan seperti pengecekan bak trafo dan membersihkan bak trafo, besar kemungkinan nilai tahanan isolasi secara keseluruhan rangkaian (looping) akan meningkat dan dapat mencapai nilai tahanan isolasi minimum yang dipersyaratkan oleh PR 26 Tahun 2022. Nilai tahanan isolasi trafo pada approach light 35 CCR 1 dan CCR 2 menunjukkan nilai tahanan isolasi yang tinggi. Perawatan dan perbaikan lebih lanjut atau pemeriksaan tambahan diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa tidak ada masalah isolasi pada trafo dan di pastikan tidak berdampak pada keseluruhan sistem dan operasional

Abstract

Bandar Udara Juwata Tarakan, terletak di Kota Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, merupakan salah satu bandara strategis di Indonesia dengan peran vital sebagai gerbang utama mobilitas penumpang dan barang. Namun, runway di bandara ini telah mengalami keausan signifikan akibat penggunaan intensif dan berbagai kondisi cuaca. Seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penerbangan, kondisi struktural runway menurun, ditambah dengan masalah standing water saat hujan yang meningkatkan risiko aquaplaning. Terakhir kali overlay runway dilakukan pada tahun 2016, dengan umur layan yang hampir terlewati, menunjukkan perlunya perbaikan segera untuk menjaga keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi permukaan runway saat ini, menentukan kebutuhan tebal overlay yang sesuai, serta memberikan rekomendasi teknis dan evaluasi PCN untuk perbaikan guna meningkatkan kualitas dan kapasitas runway di Bandar Udara Juwata Tarakan.

Abstract

Bandar Udara Rahadi Oesman Ketapang memiliki permasalahan pada sistem drainase di access road PKP-PK yang belum optimal, akibat tidak adanya box culvert pada jalur tersebut. Kondisi ini menyebabkan aliran air menjadi terhambat dan berpotensi menimbulkan genangan air yang dapat mengganggu operasional bandar udara serta dapat merusak infrastruktur dalam jangka panjang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem drainase yang lebih efektif melalui pembangunan box culvert dengan dimensi yang sesuai untuk kebutuhan lapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menerapkan analisis hidrologi dan hidraulika untuk menentukan debit air rencana serta dimensi optimal untuk box culvert. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, pengukuran fisik, serta analisis dokumentasi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan box culvert tipe single dengan lebar dan tinggi masing-masing 1,5 meter serta panjang 8 meter dapat secara efektif mengalirkan air, sehingga mampu mengurangi risiko genangan. Dengan perencanaan ini, sistem drainase pada area access road PKP-PK dapat ditingkatkan untuk mendukung kelancaran dan keselamatan operasional penerbangan pada Bandar Udara Rahadi Oesman Ketapang.

Abstract

Public Address System (PAS) and Carcall are supporting audio facilities at the airport. PAS is used inside the building to convey information to passengers, while Carcall is used in the outdoor area for communication with the vehicle fleet. The Carcall system consists of amplifiers and speakers with certain impedances. An imbalance between impedance and power capacity can reduce sound quality. To identify the root of the problem, the Root Cause Analysis and Fishbone Diagram methods are used. The application of the Pareto Diagram shows that 20% of technical problems related to impedance and power cause 80% of sound quality disturbances. Solving this problem can significantly improve the performance and durability of the Carcall device at Soekarno–Hatta Airport.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the market demand for the development of Singkawang Airport in West Kalimantan. Using the Fishbone Diagram approach, this research identifies six key categories that influence market demand: people, methods, machines, materials, environment, and management. Data for the study was obtained through literature reviews and interviews with relevant stakeholders such as local government, airport management, tourism industry players, and local communities. The study’s findings reveal that key factors influencing market demand include the improvement of infrastructure connecting to the airport, supporting government policies, and the rapid growth of the tourism sector. Additionally, the quality of airport services is an important factor in attracting tourists and supporting the local economy. Proposed solutions include enhancing the land transport network, implementing environmentally friendly technologies, and empowering local communities through skill development programs. This study is expected to provide strategic guidance for the government and stakeholders in planning an efficient, sustainable airport development project that can meet the growing market demands.
