Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify the challenges faced in the process of learning nahwu (Arabic grammar), which lead to low student achievement. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive method, involving students from the 2021 cohort of the Arabic Language Education Department at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin as research participants.  The results reveal that students encounter linguistic difficulties in understanding word form changes (i'rab) and applying grammatical rules practically. On the non-linguistic side, the decline in student interest is attributed to monotonous teaching methods and a lack of interaction during the learning process. The research recommends employing innovative and interactive methods to motivate students and enhance their understanding of nahwu.Keyword: Educational problems, teaching grammar, teaching Arabic language. مستخلص البحثيهدف هذا البحث إلى تواجه عملية تعلم النحو العديد من التحديات التي تؤدي إلى تدني نتائج تعلم الطلاب. اعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي النوعي بمشاركة طلاب الدفعة 2021 ج قسم تعليم اللغة العربية بجامعة أنتساري الإسلامية الحكومية بنجرماسين كعينة للبحث. وأظهرت نتائج البحث أن الطلاب يواجهون صعوبات لغوية في فهم تغيرات أشكال الكلمات (الإعراب) وتطبيق قواعد النحو بشكل عملي. ومن الجانب غير اللغوي، يعود تدني اهتمام الطلاب إلى الطرق التعليمية الرتيبة وقلة التفاعل في العملية التعليمية. يوصي البحث باستخدام أساليب مبتكرة وتفاعلية لتحفيز الطلاب وزيادة فهمهم في تعلم علم النحو.الكلمات المفتاحية: مشكلات التعليم، تعليم النحو، تعليم اللغة العربية.

Abstract

ABSTRACTLearning Arabic mufradāt (vocabulary) is one of the most important aspects in the process of mastering Arabic. Mufradāt is a fundamental component that must be mastered so that a person is able to understand, process, and use Arabic properly and correctly. Mufradāt mastery is the initial key that paves the way for mastering other language skills, such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing (al-Mahārah al-Lughawiyyah). However, for non-Arabs, learning mufradāt can be challenging due to language and cultural differences. This paper aims to discuss in depth how to teach mufradāt with a contextual approach so that students can understand the meaning of the mufradāt well and they can use it in language skills (al-Mahārah al-Lughawiyyah) properly and correctly. Keywords: Strategy, mufradāt learning, contextual, non-Arabic learners ABSTRAKPembelajaran mufradāt (kosakata) bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu aspek yang sangat penting dalam proses penguasaan bahasa Arab. Mufradāt adalah komponen fundamental yang harus dikuasai agar seseorang mampu memahami, mengolah, dan menggunakan bahasa Arab secara baik dan benar. Penguasaan mufradāt menjadi kunci awal yang membuka jalan untuk menguasai keterampilan berbahasa lainnya, seperti mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis (al-Mahārah al-Lughawiyyah). Namun, bagi non-Arab, pembelajaran mufradāt dapat menjadi tantangan karena perbedaan bahasa dan budaya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk membahas secara mendalam bagaimana cara mengajarkan mufradāt dengan pendekatan kontekstual sehingga siswa dapat memahami makna mufradāt tersebut dengan baik serta mereka dapat menggunakannya dalam keterampilan berbahasa (al-Mahārah al-Lughawiyyah) dengan baik dan benar. Kata kunci : Strategi, pembelajaran mufradāt, kontekstual, pembelajar non-Arab

Abstract

ABSTARCTBushiry's Qasidah Burdah is a compilation of verses praising the Prophet Muhammad. Qasidah Burdah is one of Imam Bushiri's compositions, he is the earliest poem after a very long hiatus. Qasidah Burdah is read and sung widely throughout the Islamic world. The reading of the qasidah is usually interspersed with additional prayers and verses. The choice of diction of words used in this Qasidah makes this Qasidah beautiful. Therefore, the burdah kasidah is much admired by Sufis and other Muslims. Apart from that, the many meanings of idioms used in this Qasidah make researchers interested in finding out the original meaning contained in this Qasidah. The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of the idioms contained in each verse of Qasidah Burdah Bushiri. The type and method of research used is qualitative with text analysis methods to review the qasidah burdah verse in terms of idiom meaning. The results of this research are that in Qasidah Burdah from chapters 1 to chapter 10, researchers found that there are 99 meanings of idioms.مستخلص البحثبوردة قاصدة بوشري هي مجموعة من الآيات التي تمدح النبي محمد. قصيدة بوردة هي إحدى مؤلفات الإمام البوشيري، فهو أقدم قصيدة بعد توقف طويل جداً. تتم قراءة قصيدة بوردة وغنائها على نطاق واسع في جميع أنحاء العالم الإسلامي. وعادة ما تتخلل قراءة القصيدة صلوات وآيات إضافية. واختيار الإلقاء للكلمات المستعملة في هذا القصيده يجعل من هذه القصيده جميله. لذلك، فإن عبادة كاسيدا تحظى بإعجاب كبير من قبل الصوفيين وغيرهم من المسلمين. بصرف النظر عن ذلك، فإن المعاني العديدة للمصطلحات المستخدمة في هذه القصيدة تجعل الباحثين مهتمين بمعرفة المعنى الأصلي الوارد في هذه القصيدة. والهدف من هذا البحث هو معرفة معنى الاصطلاحات الواردة في كل آية من آيات قاصدة بوردة بوشيري. نوع وطريقة البحث المستخدمة نوعية مع طرق تحليل النص لمراجعة آية عبادة القصيداء من حيث المعنى الاصطلاحي. نتائج هذا البحث هي أنه في قاصدة بوردة من الفصول ١ إلى الفصل ١٠، وجد الباحثون أن هناك ٩٩ معنى من العبارات.

Abstract

The Arabic language has many characteristics, too numerous to be fully listed, including phonetic features, derivation, form, structure or construction, pattern or rhythm, Arabization, brevity, and extensive meaning. With its vast literary, scientific, and cultural heritage, Arabic is considered one of the great languages of the world. Reading is an integrative skill, just like listening and understanding, requiring a visible effort from the learner during its practice. Reading is not a simple skill; rather, it is a complex process that involves a set of abilities and engages in various cognitive operations such as understanding, remembering, inferring, and evaluating. Reading remains one of the most important means of conveying the fruits of human intellect and the purest human emotions, as known in the world of printed pages. Reading has had great significance in human life since ancient times, and its importance has increased in this era due to scientific and technological advancements, as well as the explosion of knowledge in all areas of life. Humans cannot do without it, despite the availability of various means to transfer knowledge.Keyword: Reading, mastery skill, Arabic. مستخلص البحثللعربية خصائص كثيرة يضيق المجال عن حصرها، منها الخصائص الصوتية والاشتقاق والشكل والهيئة أو البناء والصيغة أو الوزن، والتعريب والإيجاز والدلالة الواسعة. وتعد اللغة العربية بتراثها الأدبي والعلمي والثقافي الضخم إحدى لغات العالم العظيمة. تعتبر القراءة مهارة استيعابية مثلها مثل الاستماع والفهم يبذل المتعلم عند ممارستها جهدًا ظاهرًا للعيان. وليست عملية القراءة من المهارات البسيطة، وإنما هي عملية معقدة تشمل مجموعة من المهارات تدخل في كثير من العمليات العقلية كالفهم والتذكر والاستنتاج والتقويم. ولا تزال القراءة أهم الوسائل التي تنقل إلينا ثمرات العقل البشري، وأنقى المشاعر الإنسانية التي عرفها عالم الصفحة المطبوعة. القراءة ذات أهمية كبرى في حياة الإنسان منذ القديم، وازدادت أهميتها في هذا العصر بسبب التطور العلمي والتكنولوجي، وتفجر المعرفة في جميع مجالات الحياة، فالإنسان لا يستغنى عنها بالرغم من وجود الوسائل المتعددة لنقل المعرفة.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media untuk evaluasi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi aplikasi quizizz dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab di kelas VIII MTsN 2 Barito Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (RnD) model addie dengan lima langkah yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan quizizz efektif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran bahasa arab. oleh karena itulah dengan adanya quizizz siswa berperan aktif dan senang mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Media, Quizizz, Evaluasi, Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. المستخلصيهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير وسائل تقويم التعليم من خلال الاستفادة من تطبيق كويزيز  في تعلم اللغة العربية في الصف الثامن في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الثاني باريتو كوالا. يستخدم هذا البحث منهج البحث والتطوير بنموذج آدي بخمس خطوات وهي التحليل والتصميم والتطوير والتنفيذ والتقويم. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن تقويم التعليم باستخدام كويزيز  يستخدم بشكل فعال لتقويم تعليم اللغة العربية. ولهذا السبب يلعب الطلاب دورًا نشطًا في كويزيز  ويستمتعون بالمشاركة في أنشطة التعليم.الكلمات المفتاحية: وسيلة، كويزيز، تقويم، تعليم اللغة العربية.

Abstract

Arabic language learning that focuses solely on linguistic theories can lead to students being passive, having difficulty speaking, and feeling insecure. Creating a language environment (bi'ah lughawiyah) is one solution, as it can be an appropriate medium for developing students' language skills. Bi'ah lughawiyah combines theoretical learning and direct practice of the theories that have been studied. This study aims to describe the role of bi'ah lughawiyah in improving the Arabic language skills of female students at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata Pamekasan Islamic boarding school. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and uses observation, interviews and documentation in collecting data. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Bi'ah Lughawiyah at the Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Islamic Boarding School has proven to play a significant role in improving students' Arabic language skills, both orally and in writing. This can be seen from the development of students' Arabic language skills during discussions, muhawarah, and speeches/lectures using Arabic. The development of students' Arabic language in the written field can also be seen in the various and consistent publications of the wall magazine. Bi'ah lughawiyah is also very helpful in fostering students' self-confidence and fostering discipline.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the implementation of lughat muḥāwarah learning at the Wustho level in the Islamic boarding school Raudhatut Thalibin. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the learning process as it occurs in its natural setting. Data were collected through direct classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of relevant documentation such as lesson plans and learning materials. The findings indicate that lughat muḥāwarah learning is implemented using a variety of interactive and communicative methods. These methods include paired dialogues to encourage direct communication, simulations of daily situations to connect learning with real-life contexts, role-playing activities to improve speaking fluency and confidence, and habituation programs that require students to use Arabic in their daily interactions. Such approaches help create a language-rich environment that supports students’ speaking skills. Several supporting factors contribute to the effectiveness of this learning process, including the availability of appropriate and relevant textbooks, strong teacher commitment, and the existence of special programs such as Arabic Day. However, the study also identifies inhibiting factors, such as students’ low self-confidence, limited opportunities for practice, and less-than-optimal learning motivation. Therefore, this study recommends increasing teacher creativity, maximizing the use of interactive learning media, and encouraging Arabic language practice beyond the classroom to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

This literature review analyzes the use of Artificial Intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, as a collaborative medium to optimize Arabic language learning in Madrasah Aliyah (Islamic Senior High School). This study aims to identify the effectiveness, opportunities, and challenges in integrating ChatGPT into the learning process. The results of the study indicate that ChatGPT enhances learning interactivity through real-time feedback, personalized material presentation, and adaptive support for listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Furthermore, ChatGPT encourages the creation of a learner-centered learning environment by actively and independently engaging learners. However, challenges such as linguistic accuracy, limited digital teacher literacy, and infrastructure readiness remain obstacles to its implementation. This study confirms that ChatGPT has strong potential as a pedagogical tool and collaborative partner in learning. Its strategic integration requires instructional supervision, ethical considerations, and adequate technological readiness. This study has implications for the development of AI-based learning designs and digital collaborative models in the future.

Abstract

Abstract Reading skills instruction for grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin still relies on traditional methods, resulting in low comprehension and a monotonous learning environment. Therefore, engaging and motivating learning media is required, such as the snakes and ladders game which involves physical activity. By incorporating game elements into the learning process, student motivation and comprehension can be enhanced. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the snakes and ladders game in improving the reading skills of grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin, South Kalimantan. This is a field research utilizing a quasi-experimental design. The results indicate that the average post-test score for the experimental group reached 85.74, which is higher than the control group's average of 82.92. The average score improvement (gain) in the experimental group was 16.28, compared to 5.07 in the control group. Based on the t-test analysis, the statistical significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. In conclusion, the use of the snakes and ladders game is proven effective in improving the reading skills of grade XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin, South Kalimantan. Abstrak Pembelajaran keterampilan membaca siswa kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin masih menggunakan metode tradisional, sehingga pemahaman siswa cenderung rendah dan pembelajaran terasa menoton. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan memotivasi, seperti permainan ular tangga yang melibatkan aktivitas fisik. Dengan mengaitkan unsur permainan dalam pembelajaran, motivasi dan pemahaman siswa dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin, Kalimantan Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan desain metode quasi-eksperimental. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil tes akhir pada kelompok eksperimen mencapai 85,74, lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 82,92. Rata-rata peningkatan nilai pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 16,28, dan kelompok kontrol adalah 5,07 dari hasil tes sebelum perlakuan. Berdasarkan analisis uji (t), nilai signifikansi statistik (Sig.) (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 (< 0,05), menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan secara statistik antara kedua kelompok. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan permainan ular tangga dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Tapin, Kalimantan Selatan, terbukti efektif.
