Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of profitability and leverage on company value with dividend policy as a mediating variable in non-cyclical consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study is 10 companies with a research period of 2018 - 2024. This study uses secondary data, with a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The data processing or analysis methods used are classical assumption testing, panel data regression analysis, and hypothesis tests using the t test, F test, and Sobel test. The data processing tool used is EViews 14. Based on the results of the study, it is known that profitability has a positive and significant effect on the company's value, while leverage and dividend policy do not have a significant effect on the company's value. In addition, profitability and leverage have no significant effect on dividend policy. The results of the mediation test showed that the dividend policy was unable to mediate the influence of profitability and leverage on the company's value

Abstract

TikTok has become an important promotional medium for culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) because of its visual, interactive, and broad-reach characteristics. This study aims to analyze the TikTok social media strategy used by Bebek Sambel Korek Surabaya and its contribution to brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. A descriptive qualitative case-study approach was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with the owner, who also manages the official TikTok account, and nine consumers representing student, employee, and general consumer segments. Data were analyzed inductively and validated through source triangulation. The findings show that the promotional strategy includes target determination, content creation, highlighting distinctive product characteristics, audience interaction, TikTok Analytics, paid promotion, influencer collaboration, and continuous evaluation. Influencer collaboration was perceived as more effective than paid promotion in driving outlet visits. TikTok also contributed to brand awareness by helping consumers recognize the business name and remember distinctive product attributes, while purchase intention developed through attention, interest, curiosity, information seeking, willingness to try, and, for some consumers, actual visits and purchases.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the determinants of Firm Value, proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), in Consumer Non-Cyclicals sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2024 period. The independent variables tested include Profitability (Return on Assets/ROA), Capital Structure (Debt to Equity Ratio/DER), and Firm Size (Log Size). Using the purposive sampling method, 12 sample companies were obtained with a total of 48 panel data observations. Through a series of classical assumption tests and model selection tests (Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier), the Random Effect Model (REM) was determined as the most efficient estimation model. The regression analysis results show that partially, Profitability has a positive and significant effect on Firm Value, reinforcing the relevance of Signaling Theory where net profit is perceived as a signal of future prospects. Conversely, Capital Structure and Firm Size do not have a significant partial effect on PBV, indicating that investors in this sector tend to disregard debt levels and asset scale when performing valuations. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on Firm Value with a coefficient of determination of 9.24%. This low Adjusted R-Squared value indicates the presence of external factors or other fundamental variables that are more dominant in influencing investor expectations in the primary consumer goods sector during the observation period.

Abstract

The Desa Cantik Program (Desa Cinta Statistik), initiated by the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), is a strategic program aimed at strengthening data governance at the village level as the foundation for development planning. Based on Law No. 6 of 2014 on Villages and Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019 on One Data Indonesia, village governments are required to be capable of conducting sectoral statistical activities to support targeted development. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Beautiful Village Program in supporting village development planning in Leran Village, Manyar Subdistrict, Gresik Regency, with one of its main outputs being the provision of social protection data for vulnerable worker groups. The method used is descriptive qualitative research employing David C. Korten’s policy implementation theory, which emphasizes the alignment between the program, the implementing organization, and the target group. The research findings indicate that, in terms of program design, the program has been tailored to the village’s needs and employs a structured data collection strategy, although data updates have not yet been conducted consistently. Regarding the implementing organization, coordination between the Gresik Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and the Leran Village Government has been effective and supported by training; however, there remain limitations in terms of human resources and implementation time. Regarding the target group, data collection on vulnerable workers has seen a significant increase, with social protection coverage rising from 12% (2023) to 100% (2025) as a result of improved village data governance. It is hoped that the results of this data collection will drive Leran Village toward more responsive and sustainable development planning, while also opening opportunities to strengthen social protection for all segments of the village community.

Abstract

Improving employee performance in public sector organisations has become a strategic issue amidst increasingly complex and dynamic service demands. However, performance optimisation has not yet been fully achieved due to limitations in knowledge management and low levels of employee innovation. Therefore, an approach is required that can integrate knowledge management, leadership style, and innovation to enhance employee performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of knowledge management and leadership style on employee performance through innovation as an intervening variable within the Sukabumi City Government environment. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The study population comprises all employees within the Sukabumi City Government. The sampling technique utilised purposive sampling with a sample size of 150 respondents. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that knowledge management and leadership style play a significant role in enhancing employee innovation. Innovation has been proven to be a key factor in improving employee performance and is capable of mediating the influence of knowledge management and leadership style on performance. These findings indicate that employee performance in public organisations is determined not only by the availability of knowledge and leadership, but also by the organisation’s ability to foster innovation. The implications of this research underscore the importance of strengthening knowledge management systems and implementing participatory leadership styles to create a sustainable culture of innovation in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

Indonesia’s blue economy roadmap projected the maritime sector to contribute 15% to national GDP by 2045, yet its realisation rested on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that constitute more than 90% of marine and fisheries actors. In Manado, a strategic coastal city facing the Pacific trade route, MSMEs encountered a persistent regulatory mismatch: business law remains terrestrial-oriented and fails to accommodate the spatial, traceability, and digital-transaction characteristics of the blue economy. This study examined how an adaptive regulatory model conceptualised as a Smart Regulatory Framework can be constructed to strengthen Manado’s blue-economy MSMEs and elevate their national and international competitiveness. Employing a juridical-normative method reinforced by a socio-legal approach and Economic Analysis of Law, the study integrated statute, conceptual, and comparative approaches, the latter drawing on blue-economy governance in Norway and Seychelles and on cross-sectoral regulatory sandbox practice. The study proposes a tri-pillar adaptive regulation integrating certainty of marine spatial utilisation, digital transaction security, and a transitional blue standard aligned with internationally recognised sustainability requirements, designed to reduce transaction costs and to operationalise law as a tool of social engineering for sustainable coastal development. Because this study is a normative-conceptual model construction rather than an impact evaluation, these effects are advanced as projected consequences that require ex-post validation once the model has been piloted.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of delivery speed as a standalone dimension of service quality on customer trust within the Indonesian e-commerce sector. Amidst the rapid growth of digital transactions, logistics efficiency specifically timeliness and consistency has shifted from a service differentiator to a fundamental market standard. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, data were collected via structured surveys from 100 active e-commerce users through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression and processed with SMARTPLS software.Descriptive results indicate high average values for both delivery speed (25.3858) and customer trust (39.3622), reflecting positive consumer perceptions. The inferential analysis confirms that delivery speed has a positive and significant effect on customer trust (t = 5.480, p < 0.05). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.886 reveals that delivery speed explains 88.6% of the variation in customer trust. These findings reinforce the theoretical importance of reliability and responsiveness in mitigating post-purchase uncertainty. Practically, the study underscores the necessity for e-commerce players to optimize last-mile logistics to sustain long-term digital business competitiveness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the speed of adjustment toward the optimal capital structure of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. By employing a partial adjustment model on panel data from 38 companies, this research examines the internal determinants influencing capital structure dynamics. The empirical results demonstrate that firm size has a positive and significant effect on the speed of adjustment, suggesting that larger firms with better market access can reach their optimal targets more efficiently. Conversely, asset tangibility and profitability exhibit a negative and significant influence, indicating financial rigidity and a preference for internal funding as posited by the pecking order theory. Growth opportunities were found to have no significant impact on the adjustment rate. These findings provide critical implications for managers in the energy sector to achieve efficient capital structure equilibrium in a post-pandemic economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of the Village Head in improving the positive image of the village government of Gunung Tua Tonga, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency, as well as to identify the obstacles faced in implementing the communication strategy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of the village head, village officials, the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and the community. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, as well as testing the validity of the data through source triangulation. The results of the study show that the communication strategies implemented by the Village Head of Gunung Tua Tonga include the use of print media such as leaflets and invitations, the utilization of social media such as WhatsApp Groups, and direct communication through regular meetings and community activities. In addition, collaboration with the BPD and village officials is also an important part in conveying information to the community. These communication strategies have proven to be able to improve the positive image of the village government through information transparency, persuasive communication, and community involvement. However, in its implementation, there are several obstacles, such as differences in community perceptions, limited understanding, and the potential for miscommunication. To overcome these obstacles, the village head applies a dialogical approach, mediation, and increases the intensity of direct communication with the community. Based on Leadership Communication Theory and Image Formation Theory, it can be concluded that the success of building a positive image is highly influenced by the effectiveness of communication carried out by the leader.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how kompang music learning can be designed to enhance students’ appreciation of the arts. The study is motivated by a phenomenon frequently observed in educational settings, namely students’ limited appreciation of traditional arts. This condition is reflected in students’ attitudes that perceive kompang music as unattractive and incompatible with contemporary developments. Data were collected through observation, direct interviews, and documentation of relevant sources. The findings indicate that effective learning planning through the formulation of learning objectives, selection of appropriate materials, application of suitable strategies and media, and the use of appropriate assessment methods plays a crucial role in improving students’ appreciation of kompang music. Learning plans that integrate local cultural values, adopt contextual approaches aligned with students’ real life experiences, and actively involve students can foster understanding, curiosity, and positive attitudes toward traditional arts. Therefore, structured and contextually relevant learning planning is essential to enhance appreciation of kompang music as part of local cultural heritage.
