Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efforts and strategies undertaken by Sanggar Seni Bebalam in preserving Nyanyian Panjang as Malay cultural heritage in Pelalawan Regency, Riau. Nyanyian Panjang is a traditional Malay oral art form containing historical, philosophical, and moral values that faces extinction due to globalization and lack of intergenerational transmission. This qualitative study employed a case study approach with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Sanggar Seni Bebalam implements four integrated preservation strategies: (1) structured intergenerational learning through master-apprentice programs, (2) systematic digital documentation and archiving, (3) strategic collaboration with customary institutions and educational organizations, and (4) adaptive performance innovations for contemporary contexts. These community-based approaches have effectively increased youth participation and strengthened local cultural identity while maintaining the authenticity of the tradition.

Abstract

Logical thinking skills are one of the important cognitive abilities that need to be developed from elementary school, as they play an essential role in helping students recognize patterns, classify objects, compare, sequence, solve simple problems, and make rational decisions. However, the implementation of group guidance services in elementary schools still faces limitations in providing innovative and interactive media that are appropriate to students’ cognitive developmental characteristics. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia based on Game Logic Adventure as a medium for group guidance services to support the development of logical thinking skills among first-grade elementary school students. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) development model, consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data were collected through a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation sheets for material and media experts, and a product practicality questionnaire. The developed interactive multimedia integrates text, images, animations, audio, and educational games adapted to the cognitive developmental characteristics of students at the concrete operational stage based on Jean Piaget’s theory. The activities included in the multimedia consist of recognizing objects, classifying, comparing, and sequencing, which are designed to stimulate students’ logical thinking skills. The results showed that the Game Logic Adventure interactive multimedia achieved a very high level of feasibility based on the validation results from material and media experts and met the practicality criteria based on user responses. Therefore, the Game Logic Adventure interactive multimedia is considered feasible and practical for use as a medium in group guidance services to support the development of logical thinking skills among first-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of e-wallet usage intention using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with perceived risk as a moderating variable. The independent variables include perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived complexity. The study employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 120 Accounting Education students at Universitas Negeri Semarang. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis. The results indicate that perceived ease of use has a positive and significant effect on usage intention, while perceived usefulness, perceived complexity, and perceived risk show significant negative effects. The model explains 32.5% of the variance in intention, increasing to 35.4% after incorporating interaction variables. Moderation analysis reveals that perceived risk significantly moderates the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on usage intention, but not the relationship involving perceived complexity. These findings highlight the importance of usability and risk perception in shaping fintech adoption behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies that can increase sales of stamping services at PT. XYZ, which operates in the automotive component manufacturing sector. With increasingly fierce competition and fluctuating demand, the company faces challenges in maintaining and increasing its sales. This study uses a qualitative approach with quantitative analysis methods, namely the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrices, the SWOT matrix, and the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The results of the analysis indicate that PT. XYZ has a number of strengths, such as reliable machine maintenance and competitive prices, but also faces operational weaknesses, such as delays in work and frequent machine breakdowns. Externally, the company has a great opportunity to develop the market along with government policies that support the local automotive industry, despite facing the threat of increasingly fierce competition. Three priority strategies identified to increase sales are providing special discounts, increasing promotional events, and providing timely warranties. Based on the QSPM matrix calculation, the strategy of providing special discounts received the highest score and is proposed for immediate implementation by the company.

Abstract

The migration of the Dayak Bahau Tribe from Muyub Aket Village to Tukul Village, West Kutai Regency, during the period 1825–2025 is a complex phenomenon involving social, cultural, and economic dynamics. This research aims to reconstruct the history of migration, identify the driving factors, adaptation mechanisms, and socio-cultural impacts that arise. The research method used a qualitative approach, with in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and local historical documentation studies, involving six key informants who had in-depth knowledge about migration. The results show that migration occurs in three waves, influenced by Dutch colonial pressures, environmental conditions, local beliefs, and the need for fertile land. The migration process is carried out collectively through customary meetings, fair land distribution, and gradual settlement development. From a socio-economic perspective, the community maintains traditional livelihoods such as farming, selling rattan, and fishing, while integrating modern jobs such as civil servants, honorary, and mining. The socio-cultural aspect is maintained through the preservation of Hudoq rituals, customary structures, and harmonious relations with immigrant tribes. These findings confirm that Dayak Bahau migration is not just a physical displacement, but also a sustainable process of socio-cultural and economic adaptation, reflecting the resilience and flexibility of indigenous communities in the face of environmental change and modernization. This study contributes to the historiographic literature on migration and cultural sustainability in East Kalimantan.

The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type. Primary data were obtained through a Likert scale that measures psychological well-being, work ethic, and work engagement in private elementary school teachers, then analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis, path analysis, and the Sobel test. The results showed that psychological well-being significantly influences work ethic and work engagement, and work ethic mediates the relationship. These findings emphasize the importance of psychological well-being in improving teacher professional engagement.
