All articles will be sent directly by the author through OJS, then the articles will be reviewed and selected for publication. Abstract

Technological developments in the digital era have brought significant changes to the world of education. 21st-century teachers are required to integrate technology into the learning process to create interactive and relevant learning. However, many teachers still face obstacles in implementing technology, such as limited digital skills, lack of institutional support, and limited facilities and time. This study aims to examine the factors causing teachers' difficulties in implementing technology and possible solutions. Interviews with an elementary school teacher revealed that limited facilities and the habit of conventional methods are the main obstacles. Therefore, ongoing training, adequate infrastructure, and support from all parties are needed to improve teacher competency in facing the challenges of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the implementation of duties and responsibilities, as well as the fulfillment of rights and obligations of teachers at State Junior High School 10, Padang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and interview methods as data collection techniques. The focus of this study covers various aspects faced by teachers in carrying out their duties, starting from their roles as teachers, mentors, to implementing additional activities at school. The results of the study indicate that teachers are not only responsible for delivering lesson materials, but also play an important role in shaping students' character and establishing partnerships with parents and fellow teachers. In addition, teachers also have rights facilitated by the school such as salaries, professional training, and supporting facilities. This finding shows the importance of synergy between the fulfillment of rights and the implementation of obligations to create a quality educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Subject Teachers' Consultative Meeting (MGMP) in improving teacher professionalism at State Junior High School 10 Padang. Teacher professionalism includes pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies that are essential in supporting the quality of education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with teachers who actively participate in MGMP activities. The results of the study indicate that MGMP plays an important role as a forum for developing teacher competencies through various activities such as training, discussions, and workshops. These activities have been proven to support the improvement of teachers' abilities in designing learning, implementing innovative methods, and conducting learning evaluations effectively. Thus, MGMP has a real contribution in improving teacher professionalism and the quality of the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relevance of Imam Al-Ghazali's thoughts to the modern education system, particularly in shaping the ethics, morals, and character of students. Amidst the current of globalization marked by technological advances and a moral crisis, Al-Ghazali's ideas have strategic value as a philosophical and spiritual basis for developing holistic education that focuses not only on intellectual aspects but also on moral and spiritual development. This study uses a qualitative approach. using the literature research method, through a study of Al-Ghazali's main works such asIhya’ Ulum al-Din, Ayyuha al-Walad, And The Scale of Action, as well as secondary literature in the form of books, scientific journals, and relevant research findings from the past decade. The study's findings indicate that Al-Ghazali viewed education as a process of purifying the soul (tazkiyat al-nafs) and developing noble morals through the integration of knowledge, faith, and good deeds. Teachers serve as both moral role models and guides. spiritual,while students are required to seek knowledge with intention sincerity and proper etiquette. Al-Ghazali's concept of ideal education is one that balances intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions. This finding confirms that Al-Ghazali's ethical educational thinking remains relevant in the context of modern education, as it can provide a solution to the moral crisis and encourage the formation of a generation that is knowledgeable, devout, and has noble morals and plays an active role in community life
