Abstract

This community service program aims to give training about the strategy methods to increase product sales through online marketing to vegetable traders around Bandung. The problems are declining sales turnover, not knowing the mechanism for using applications for online marketing, not being able to promote products through social media. The solution offered was to provide directions and procedures for strategies to increase product sales through online marketing through social media. The specific target is to promote on Facebook to increase product sales.The activities started by giving directions on how to use the Facebook social media application to promote their wares, finding out their consumers' mobile phone numbers so that partners can offer their wares. With the training provided by the team, the mobile vegetable seller, Mang Edo, is more developed with an increase in the number of consumers who buy his merchandise. There are many strategies that can be done, build customer loyalty, do online sell on social media, using Facebook so that they are more familiar and skilled, doing promotions on social media, expanding marketing area, trying to accept orders in other areas, do promote on Facebook to expand marketing area, increase shipping costs for remote areas.

Abstract

Conservation of biological natural resources is not only the responsibility of the manager of a conservation area but also the responsibility of all elements, including the community around the area. The activities of conserving biological natural resources that are carried out in collaboration will provide maximum results. Communities around the area in particular are the subject of development in an effort to conserve natural resources. The method of implementing community service activities carried out includes training activities and field practice in stages; preparation, implementation and evaluation. Preparatory activities include field observations regarding the need for facilities and infrastructure. Implementation activities are through training and field practice in the technique of making plant seeds with uprooting techniques in nature. Evaluation activities are carried out after the completion of the activity to ensure the sustainability of the activity. The benefits of this activity are expected to increase public knowledge about the role of providing plant seeds in an effort to restore the area of the Research Station of the Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Kuningan in Gunung Ciremai National Park.

Abstract

Most of the residents in the RT run the Micro, Small and Medium Business Units (UMKM). Although some business actors have used information technology tools to support their business, they are only limited to posting products via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp. Residents do not understand how to sell and market products using information technology tools. In addition, product sales turnover tends to decline during the Covid-19 pandemic and large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), due to the lack of buyers. E-Commerce is an information system technology device that can be an alternative solution in an electronic-based sales system. With the use of E-Commerce technology, business actors can market their products online anywhere and anytime. Based on the above conditions, we conducted training to build a business using Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) technology for residents in the RT 03 RW 02 Pondok Jati Jurangmangu Barat environment in order to foster an entrepreneurial spirit based on information technology (Technopreneur). The end result of this community service activity is that residents of RT 03 RW 02 Pondok Jati Jurangmangu Barat gain knowledge and experience regarding the use of E-Commerce technology, and get assistance in building E-Commerce websites.

Abstract

Alam Barajo District is one of the sub-districts located in Jambi City with the largest population. In terms of the environment, Alam Barajo is one of the districts that produces the largest waste in Jambi City with a waste volume of 251.36% / day according to the 2018 Jambi City Environmental Service report. In addition to the waste problem, forest destruction is also an environmental problem in Alam barajo District. The above is due to a lack of understanding and low community participation in environmental conservation in Alam Barajo District. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding through socialization of the importance of environmental preservation properly. This Community Service activity starts from the group discussion stage, preparation, observation, and socialization of environmental conservation based on the concept of Good Environmental Governance in Alam Barajo District. Service methods are socialization, training and simulation. The delivery of socialization and training materials is carried out using several relevant methods, namely: lecture, question and answer and discussion methods. The results of the observations show that some people do not understand well how to conserve the environment. After the socialization was carried out, it was seen that the people of Alam barajo sub-district, Jambi city, were very enthusiastic with the material presented about environmental conservation based on the concept of Good Environmental, from this socialization it was hoped that the understanding, participation and awareness of the people of Jambi city in general and the people of Alam barajo sub-district in particular about environmental preservation increasing and getting better so that the achievement of Good Governance in a government.

Abstract

The rapid development and advancement of Information Technology has led to changes in the activities of human life in various fields which have directly influenced the birth of new forms of legal action, the use and utilization of Information Technology must continue to be developed to maintain, maintain and strengthen national unity and integrity based on Legislation in the national interest, that the use of Information Technology plays an important role in trade and national economic growth to create public welfare. The purpose of this service focuses more on teenagers, both boys and girls, while other targets are the objectives of holding this counseling, namely the community in general. The approach method used in this Community Service is through the workshop approach method, lectures then at the end of the event a question and answer session is held, with this question and answer the community is given the opportunity to ask questions according to the theme of extension, or the community can ask questions outside the predetermined theme. The benefit of holding legal counseling in Margasari Village, Luragung District, Kuningan Regency, West Java Province is to create a better legal awareness of the community so that every member of the community realizes and lives up to their rights and obligations as citizens and creates a legal culture in attitudes and behaviors that are aware, obedient, and obey the law and can understand good information in the use of gadgets and social media in the digital era as it is today.

Abstract

OPT attack on rice plants is a serious threat that can reduce the potential yield of agricultural products so that production is unstable and tends to decline. By knowing the causative factors, we can create a control strategy by selecting and applying technical technical steps and pesticide analysis as pest control that is environmentally sound and has a high level of efficiency. PKM activities are carried out in Cidahu Village - Pasawahan District - Kuningan Regency, from July to November 2021. The purpose of this service activity is to increase knowledge and understanding of the community, especially farmer groups about strengthening farmer group institutions and pest control technology in rice plants. Counseling is carried out using extension methods and demonstration plots. Measurement of the success rate of PKM through Pre-test and Post-test to all participants. The data were analyzed using the Quasi-experimental method. PKM results showed that PKM activities were able to increase farmers' knowledge about pest control technology in rice plants. The results of the PKM activity increased the maximum knowledge score of farmers by 12 points from before and the minimum knowledge score rose to 16 points from the previous. PKM activities provide equitable knowledge skills for PKM participating farmers, as evidenced by the percentage result value of the coefficient of variation of participants being lower than the coefficient of variation before the PKM was implemented.

Abstract

The ornamental plant trader was established in 2016 having his address at Jalan Canal Citamiang, Cibeunying Kidul District, Bandung City 40121. The land used for ornamental plants is owned by the West Java Provincial Government, which is managed by the Infantry Weaponry Center. The marketing pattern is still conservative. This means that ornamental plant traders are more waiting for the arrival of consumers to the place of sale compared to making sales pro-actively coming to consumers. The implementation method in carrying out community service includes, 1) Conducting a preliminary survey to find out the condition of ornamental plant traders in general such as facilities and environmental conditions as well as those specifically related to the marketing process that is currently running. 2) Compile an improvement plan from the results of a preliminary survey that has been carried out and communicate to the owners of ornamental plants about the program to be implemented accompanied by a schedule of activities. This business, if managed properly and with a marketing pattern using social media, will generate greater profits. So that this business is not only a source of livelihood, but also can be a profitable business in the future.

Abstract

Every year the students of class XII SMA/SMK/MA compete to register themselves to enter PTN through the UTBK SBMPTN route. However, the situation is different for 2021 at this time, where the Covid 19 pandemic condition that hit Indonesia changed the exam system that had been implemented so far from offline to online. Schools are competing to guide and direct class XII students to take part in the UTBK SBMPTN. However, schools face obstacles because during the current Covid-19 Pandemic, teaching and learning activities at schools are stopped and students study online at home. This is a problem for which schools, they do not have their own LMS or web learning system to simulate the Try Out UTBK SBMPTN Online. This opportunity is used as material for the PKM team in carrying out community service activities by creating a special web learning system for the preparation of the UTBK SBMPTN Online through the online UTBK SBMPTN Try Out simulation link that has been designed. The purpose of the PKM activity is to introduce the UTBK SBMPTN Online Try Out simulation link to teachers and school principals at SMA N Cirebon City so that they have their own web learning system and can carry out independent Try Outs in the coming years. Meanwhile, for class XII students, it can be used as a training ground to know their own abilities and increase their readiness and preparation in facing the UTBK SBMPTN Online in April 2021.
