Abstract

The Israel-Palestine conflict is a longstanding issue, deeply rooted in decades of history, religion, politics, and resource disputes. This conflict has resulted in numerous military confrontations, with over 35,000 Palestinians losing their lives since October 7, 2023. Despite peace efforts such as the Oslo Accords, achieving lasting peace requires a significant political commitment. In response, Palestinian solidarity movements—through protests, humanitarian aid, and economic boycotts targeting Israel—seek justice and the restoration of land rights. This study examines boycotting Israeli-related products and services as a global solidarity action in opposition to Israel’s war crimes and oppression of Palestinians. Drawing on Social Identity Theory (SIT) by Henri Tajfel and John Turner, it illustrates how individual identities are shaped not only by personal traits but also by belonging to social groups with shared values and objectives. The boycott fosters a collective identity committed to justice. Furthermore, social media amplifies global awareness, mobilizing individuals and organizations to apply economic pressure on Israel to end its Zionist atrocities

Abstract

The number of the world's population continues to increase every year in line with the increasing rate of economic growth, the rate of population growth, and the rapid development of the industrial sector. So that an increase in energy demand is inevitable. Human energy needs are obtained from the conversion of fossil energy sources, either directly or indirectly, which can have a negative impact on the environment and the health of living things and inefficiencies. The burning of fossil energy sources causes air pollution (acid rain, smog and global warming) where acid rain causes soil and waters (lakes and rivers) to become acidic. For agriculture and forests, the acidity of the soil will affect the growth of crop production. In the waters, acid rain will cause disturbances for living things in it. So that the number of human activities in increasing economic growth becomes more and has an impact on the environment, especially in the use of energy sources for the needs of households, industries and so on with the increasing use of fossil energy causing various problems, especially for the environment which uses a lot of fossil energy. This study generally aims to (1) Determine the form of implementation of sustainable development policies (2) Factors that inhibit and support the implementation of sustainable development policies. This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative research. Where in this study using triangulation using an inductive method, the results of qualitative research emphasize more on meaning than generalization. With the results of the study, fossil energy consumption has a big impact on the environment, especially through greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sustainable economics emphasizes the importance of meeting today's needs without sacrificing the capabilities of future generations. And with public awareness of the impact of fossil energy consumption is critical in the transition to a sustainable economy. And although there are many opportunities, there are several challenges that need to be faced in implementing a sustainable economy on fossil energy consumption. So the researcher suggested increasing education and awareness and bureaucratic reform.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the student entrepreneurship development program organized by Ganesha Laboratorium Entrepreneur STIE Ganesha, focusing on the benefits, challenges, and need-based development strategies of private higher education institutions. This study is original and uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model evaluative approach with qualitative methods. Data were collected through a survey of 80 student respondents and supported by in-depth interviews and program documentation. Based on data from 80 respondents, the program succeeded in increasing motivation and entrepreneurial mindset (61.25%), increasing knowledge and skills (17.50%) and shaping creativity and innovation (11.25%). On the other hand, the main challenges include limited access to capital (43.75%), markets (32.5%), and weak post-program mentoring (1.25%). The findings suggest the need for sustainable strategies such as the integration of technopreneurship in the curriculum, the establishment of an entrepreneurship endowment fund, and the strengthening of campus business incubation. The implications of this study provide a practical contribution to the development of contextualized entrepreneurship models in private universities as well as supporting national policies in increasing the ratio of young entrepreneurs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: The development of modern management and business science cannot be separated from interdisciplinary interactions and the complexity of global challenges. From classical management theories of the 1960s to the modern era of artificial intelligence (AI) and global crises, both academia and practitioners are increasingly required to adopt an integrative approach. Challenges in digital marketing, financial literacy, economic disruption, and human resource (HR) management demand the unification of diverse perspectives to build a more adaptive and relevant management framework. Objective: This article aims to summarize and synthesize findings from seven key scientific articles to present cross-issue perspectives and approaches that enrich contemporary management theory and practice. This synthesis is expected to identify new integrative patterns that can serve as a conceptual reference for the development of context-based and technology-driven management. Method: A descriptive qualitative approach was used in the form of a literature review of seven scientific articles from reputable international journals, covering topics such as management theory, digital marketing, financial behavior, responses to global crises, and HR systems. Results: The synthesis of the seven articles presented highlights the significant contributions of various management disciplines to modern management. This synthesis connects theory and practice, ranging from classical approaches like Koontz to cutting-edge technologies like AI in marketing. Furthermore, managerial approaches need to be tailored to actual situations and needs, such as in financial education, global policy, and HR management. Overall, this synthesis reflects the importance of cross-scale and cross-disciplinary perspectives—integrating aspects of psychology, technology, economics, and human resources—to form a more comprehensive management framework that is relevant to today's challenges. Conclusion: The synthesis of these seven articles demonstrates that modern management requires cross-disciplinary integration to address the challenges of the digital era, global crises, and organizational transformation. The resulting framework supports the need for management that is adaptive, contextual, and technology-based, while also affirming the importance of harmonizing theory, practice, and the dynamic realities of contemporary organizations.

Abstract

This study analyzes the causes of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane crash that occurred on January 9, 2021, in the Thousand Islands area, from the perspective of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). This qualitative study employs a literature review method, utilizing data from official reports by the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT), academic journals, and credible media sources. The findings reveal that the accident resulted from a combination of technical factors, such as autothrottle failure; human factors, including the crew’s unpreparedness to respond to malfunctions; and organizational factors, such as inadequate training and weak oversight. These findings indicate gaps in the implementation of OSH principles within the aviation sector. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of comprehensive OSH application in all aspects of flight operations. The proposed policy recommendations include enhancing crew training quality, conducting regular and thorough aircraft maintenance, and strengthening risk-based decision-making systems. The implementation of these measures is expected to prevent similar incidents in the future and to improve aviation safety standards in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study provides an original contribution to the discourse on transportation safety by focusing on the specific case of the PT. KAI train accident in Cicalengka, Bandung, which highlights underexplored aspects of corporate responsibility in accident scenarios. The research objectives are to identify the root causes of the accident and to evaluate the responsibility measures undertaken by PT. KAI (Persero) in its aftermath. Employing a qualitative literature study method, this research synthesizes and analyzes data from various online media news texts to derive insights. Empirical results reveal that the accident was primarily caused by a combination of human error, infrastructure deficiencies, and procedural lapses, while PT. KAI demonstrated accountability through compensation programs, safety audits, and public communications. The implications of this study emphasize the need for strengthened safety assurance frameworks in transportation systems, including regular training and transparent reporting mechanisms, to mitigate future risks. This analysis offers practical recommendations for enhancing corporate accountability and operational safety in the railway sector.

Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers' experiences in implementing the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) at Malika Center Special School (SLB) in West Jakarta, which serves students with various special needs. The originality of this research lies in its focus on the context of inclusive education with a new and flexible curriculum approach. A qualitative method was employed, with data collection techniques consisting of in-depth interviews and classroom observations. Empirical results show that teachers welcomed the Independent Curriculum due to its flexibility in adapting learning to individual student needs. This curriculum allows for a more personal and relevant approach; however, its implementation faces challenges such as limited adaptive resources, high teacher workload, and the need for intensive communication with parents. Strategies implemented include comprehensive assessment, collaboration with experts, and the development of adaptive materials based on students' actual needs. The implications of this study indicate the need for further support from schools and the government in the form of ongoing training, inclusive policies, and the provision of adequate resources to support the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum in special schools. This research provides an important contribution to the development of inclusive education based on the national curriculum
