Abstract

Kata keterangan dalam bahasa Jepang disebut Fukushi . Fukushi adalah salah satu bagian darihinshi (kelas kata dalam bahasa Jepang) yang dapat berdiri sendiri, tidak berubah bentuk danpada dasarnya banyak menerangkan penekanan, ketetapan/ kepastian terutama pada kata-katayang termasuk dalam yougen (dalam hal ini kata kerja dan kata sifat). Dalam penelitian inimembahas juga mengenai cara mengajarkan kata keterangan yang terdapat dalam buku Minnano Nihongo 1 pada siswa SMA dengan menggunakan metode pengajaran dari JapanFoundation. Pada metode pengajaran ini menitik beratkan pada 3 tahapan yaitu : 1)Pengenalan, 2) Latihan dasar, 3) Latihan penerapan. Dengan menggunakan metode ini makasiswa diharapkan dapat mengerti (ศࡿ࠿ ,(mengingat (覚えࡿ (dan menggunakan (使えࡿbahasa Jepang sederhana dalam percakapan sehari-hari dengan sesama temannya yang belajarbahasa Jepang juga maupun dengan guru bahasa Jepangnya.

Abstract

Pendidikan bahasa Jepang di Indonesia mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat, namun pengajaran lafal bahasa Jepang belum mendapat perhatian. Padahal lafal bahasa Jepang sangat penting untuk diajarkan, karena ada unsur-unsur bunyi bahasa Jepang yang sulit bagi pembelajar Indonesia. Dalam komunikasi penutur asli (orang Jepang) menuntut ketepatan lafal sesuai dengan level pembelajar. Semakin tinggi kemampuan pembelajar, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan lafal yang diminta. Dalam hal pengajaran lafal bahasa Jepang, ada cara pembelajaran lafal yang disarankan, namun melalui tulisan ini mencoba mengusulkan penerapan peer learning sebagai salah satu solusi pembelajaran lafal yang memberdayakan potensi para pembelajar untuk saling memberikan feedback.

Abstract

Translation is generally defined as activities divert the messages conveyed in the source language to the target language. Proposed definitions vary according to the background and perspective, so that this definition can be weak, strong or browse each other. In practice, in terms of process and product of translation, we know there are two types of translation, namely the translation of written and oral translation. In this paper, we discuss some strategies and techniques oral translation or interpretation as well as some common aspects with written translation, especially in the Japanese language. The aim of this article is to clarify the strategy and technic of interpretation, also understood as oral translation. There are many technic and strategy of interpretation proposed by scholars. Some of the technics are similar, but some are overlapping and show inconsistency. First, existing strategies and technics of interpretation are reviewed in terminological and conceptual are pointed out. Then, based on analysis, the new technics classifications are proposed.

Abstract

Research related to Kanji usage by Hasanuddin University Japanese Department student is a type of feedback in order to understand how students react to a certain kanji teaching method. This is a qualitative research, and the subject of research is 60 Japanese Department students from 1st to 3rd year students. Research result showed that subjects cannot write well-proportioned kanji, incorrect stroke or stroke order. Incorrect writing tend to cause wrong interpretation or even make the kanji have no meaning at all. 1st and 3rd year students tend to use more hiragana and less kanji in Writing Class than 2nd year students.

Abstract

The assessment on students' ability to read and to understand Japanese texts quickly and effectively showed on quite low level. The scanning and skimming techniques were applied to overcome this problem. This research purpose was to improve students' ability to read or to find certain ideas on Japanese texts quickly and effectively based on reading goals. This study is a classroom action research. It consisted of three cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages; they were planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in Reading 4 course or Dokkai 4 for with 41students. The results shows the average marks of the test taken by the students are cycle I 70,85 , cycle II 72,68, and the cycle III 74,39. It implies that the application of scanning and skimming techniques can improve students' ability to read Japanese texts quickly and effectively.

Abstract

Pragmatics can be divided into two terms, (1) pragmatic as something is taught, (2) pragmatic as a coloring in teaching action. The first part is subdivided into two things, (a) the linguistic pragmatics as a field of study, and (b) pragmatic as one face in language or the so-called communicative function. Therefore, pragmatics relate to the conditions which resulted in a matching or absence of language in communication. The dialogues in the novel Saga no Gabbai Bacchan can be identified by the pragmatic aspects. The message conveyed otherwise in accordance with the conditions will lead to a different interpretation. Pragmatic deviation is a deviation that occurs due to irregularities in the communicative situation with the disclosure of the message to the recipient differently interpreted. This is because of differences in understanding in understanding the message delivered by messenger.

Abstract

The second language acquisition that we discuss in this article refers to what Gleason and Ratner (1998 : 454) said that “we refer to second language acquisition when describing cases in which a learner who already has some degree of control over one language system is introduced to a second (or third or fourth).” The objects of this study are two students of Japanese Language Department at Jakarta State University who each of them has a very contrast characteristic. The first one is the successful one, and the other is the failure one. The purpose of this study is to see what makes them different from each other, and what makes them success or failure in the process of this second language acquisition, which is in this case is Japanese language. In this study we observed the learning strategies, personality, and their motivation of learning. As the result we found that the student with good learning strategies, which accomplished 4 main strategies in learning process, and stabil personality with high motivation will much more success than the other one.

Abstract

This research is an experiment research for study model in jigsaw co-operative learning effectivity. The sample research is second grade academic years 2013/2014 students in dokkai II subject. Based on the result, gaining the average of study result in post test with the average value is 7,65 point at experiment class and 8,26 point at control class. therefore is 0,86 point. Moreover, is smaller than , so Hk is unaccepted. Thus, in dokkai II subject was uneffective on co-operative learning in jigsaw method. Because the students attend three classes before dokkai II class from 14.20, students feel saturated, worn out and unconcentration. wherefor those few factor comprehensive analysis is too less on expert group student, random group student can’t explained crearly on their own group. Furthermore, the control class teacher always use discourse lecture, the students are accustomed to a class like that. Then study method in that control class is reading together and interpreting each sentences of the reading contents. wherefore, student’s mind set is equal and unattracted of some debate, and then students understand more about the reading contents, discussing together directly.

Abstract

In conceptualizing learning material, attention needs to be paid to the needs and the environment of the learners, and in addition to the socio cultural systems as the third element that greatly affect a person's perceptual activity of the culture and intercultural communication. The conceptual frame work of intercultural learning materials also need to considerate intercultural awareness, intellectual understanding, and intercultural skills. Byram’s four learning components, namely: language learning, language awareness, culture awareness, and culture experience can also be integrated in intercultural literary language learning materials. Through of this conceptual frame work, an intercultural communicative potential of Indonesia-Japan are expected to be grown.

Abstract

Subjects of writing (sakubun) in Japanese Language Education Program UNNES has been conducted by various methods and approaches. At first, the students were given a themeand asked to write essays.Then we tried to apply process approach and project work.The results of these experiments only succeeded in improving writing skills in general terms. But, there are still weaknesses in terms of grammar, vocabulary election and coherence between sentences or paragraphs. Based to this background, I think individually guidance is needed to improve students awareness of element that needed when do the writing. The results of this experiment are improved learning outcomes, reduced mistakes, and students found that this technique has helped them. However, because this method is applied to a large class, its implementation becomes less effective and efficient.
