Abstract

This type of research is an experiment that aims to improve the culture of washing hands with soap under running water for students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru in Makassar City. The population of the study were students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru in Makassar City. The sample was selected by using simple random sampling technique and obtained 60 people. The data analysis technique employed a sample paired t test and an independent t test. The results of the study reveal that there is an influence of learning using educational videos on the  culture of washing  hands  with  soap  under  running  water  for students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru in Makassar City with a value of Sig. (2- tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 or H0 is rejected. There is an influence of learning CTPS (Covid-19) gymnastics on the culture of washing hands with soap under running water for students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru in Makassar City with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 or H0  is rejected. There is a difference between learning using educational videos and learning CTPS (Covid-19) gymnastics on the culture of washing hands with soap under running water for students at SD Muhammadiyah IDI Tello Baru in Makassar City with a value of t = 2.150 and Sig. (2-ailed) = 0.038 < 0.05 or H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of paired and unpaired ball passing exercises on ball passing skills in soccer games. This research is an experimental research type. The population of this study was all students of SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo Polman Regency with a total sample of 30 male students who were selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is an inferential analysis technique with a t-test using the SPSS Version 22.00 system at a significant level of 95% or 0.05. Starting from the results of data analysis, this study concludes that: (1) there is a significant effect of pair ball passing practice on the ability to pass the ball in soccer games, it is proven to = 5,200 > tt = 2,045 (P < 0,05); (2) there is a significant effect of unpaired ball passing practice on the ability to pass the ball in football games, it is proven to = 3.200 > tt = 2.045 (P < 0.05); (3) there is a significant difference in the effect of paired and unpaired ball passing exercises on the ability to pass the ball in a soccer game, proven to = 3.238 > tt = 2,000 (P < 0.05).

Abstract

This study investigated social media efficacy on prevention and control of Covid – 19 pandemic in Ilorin South Local Government Area, Kwara State. This study examine effectiveness of awareness created by the Facebook, NCDC messages and Twitter on prevention and control of Covid – 19 pandemic in Ilorin South LGA, Kwara State. The study adopted descriptive research design of survey type. A multi-stage sampling technique of stratified and purposive techniques was employed to select 150 respondents for the study. A researchers structured questionnaire validated and pilot tested with the use of test re-test reliability method and 0.75r were obtained. The findings revealed that awareness created through facebook, NCDC and Twitter have much impacts on prevention and control of Covid – 19 pandemic. Based on this findings, the study recommends that health officers should encourage people on the needs to use social media tools like facebook, NCDC messages, Twitter, Youtube and soon to gain insight on prevention and control of Covid – 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Sport tourism serve as economic catalyst of any Nation, therefore, this study investigated Economic impact of covid-19 pandemic on sports tourism in Kwara State. The objectives of this study were to: (i) evaluate the relationship between sports income generated on sports centers and closure of hotels and sports tourism. Descriptive research design of survey type was used for the study. The population of the study comprised of all Hoteliers, staff of sports council and sports marketers. Stratified and purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 respondents. Researchers designed questionnaire was used for the study. The instrument was validated by lecturers in the Department of Human Kinetics Education University of Ilorin and lecturers in the Department of Human Kinetic & Health Education, Kwara State University. A correlation coefficient of 0.68 was obtained. The instrument was administered by the researchers. The data collected were analysed using inferential statistic of Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). The result of the findings revealed that income generated on sports centers, closure of hotel have economic impact and sport tourism during covid-19 pandemic in Kwara State. Based on the findings of this study, it was recommended that people should be encouraged to embark on digitalization of sports in term of sales of sports products and viewing of sports events on social media so as to enhance effective participation in sports tourism.

Abstract

Endurance is one of the elements of physical condition that is indispensable in football. Football is a long game which is about 90 minutes. During this time, players are required to make various movements both with the ball and without the ball to look for opportunities to score goals or defend against opponent attacks. Of course this will make you tired if a player does not have good endurance. Compared to other components such as speed, agility, flexibility and strength, endurance is the most important. Because the ability to perform movements during the game for a long duration is the most important. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of cardiac endurance of female soccer athletes in Rokan Hulu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a cross sectional design. The population is 38 athletes using total sampling technique. The method used in this research is a test survey method. The first stage of this research is to prepare, communicate with athletes for their willingness to be a sample. Second, perform a test using the Multistage Fitness Test instrument. The data collection technique uses a multi-stage test or Multi-stage fitness test (MFT). Analysis of the data used is the percentage. The results showed that athletes had VO2max in the less category (63.16%), while the rest were in the less (21.05%), and moderate (15.79%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between leg length and running speed on the squat style long jump ability. This research belongs to the type of descriptive research. The population of this study was all students of SD 154 Waecekke'e, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency. The Makassar Model State with a total sample of 40 female students selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is correlation and regression analysis technique using the SPSS version 15.00 system at a significant level of 95% or 0.05. Starting from the results of data analysis, this study concludes that: (1) There is a significant relationship between leg length and squat style long jump ability in elementary school students 154 Waecekke'e, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency, it is proven that the value of ro = -0.845 (P < = 0.05); (2) There is a significant relationship between running speed and long jump squatting ability in SD 154 Waecekke'e Students, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency, it is proven that the value of ro = 0.771 (P < = 0.05); and, (3) There is a significant relationship between leg length and running speed on the long jump ability of the squat style at SD 154 Waecekke'e Students, Lappariaja District, Bone Regency, it is proven that the value of Ro = 0.847 (P < = 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dominant and supporting factors regarding the components of the PAMOR FPOK UPI mountain climbers' physical abilities on fast climbing. This research method uses the expost-facto method. Data collection techniques using physical abilities instruments as many as 7 respondents. The sampling method uses non-probability with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used confirmatory factor analysis with the help of SPSS 23 software for windows. The results of this study show that the physical abilities of mountain climbers consist of 15 components, namely Circulatory respiratory endurance, General strength, Right thigh circumference, Left thigh circumference, Speed & power, Elastic strength, Body weight, BMI, Percent body fat, and supporting components including are Agility, Balance, Anxiety, Circumference of the upper right hand, Circumference of the upper left hand. The factors that have the highest contribution to the physical abilities of PAMOR FPOK UPI mountain climbers are Muscular endurance, agility, endurance cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular strength and power percentage 36.452%.

Abstract

The cause is not optimal due to non-bio motor factors, namely inadequate body structure, and bio motor factors, namely poor hand-eye coordination. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an effect of body structure on the ability of pass over, to determine whether there is an effect of eye coordination on the ability to passing-over and to determine whether there is an influence of body and eye-hand coordination on the ability to pass over. This type of research is descriptive correlational by involving the independent variables (independent) consisting of body structure and eye-hand coordination, while the controlling variable is the ability to pass. The research sample was students of SMP Negeri 27 Makassar with a total of 30 people drawn by random sampling. The research instrument used an upper passing test, measurement of body structure by measuring height, weight and arm length, and eye-hand coordination with a chess pass test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the body's upper passing ability (p<0.05), there was a significant structural effect of eye-hand coordination on the upper-passing ability, and there was a jointly significant effect of body structure and eye coordination on upper passing ability (p<0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the feasibility of instructional video variations of attack training using punching pads for taekwondo novice athletes in 2020. The study was conducted on product trials at taekwondo clubs. TVRI Medan. Address on JL. Capt. Sihombing Stone. Comp. TVRI, Club Taekwondo Taruna Nusantara Medan which is located at Jl. Karya Jaya. Comp. Jaya Syafira. Medan Johor and at Taekwondo Club Gaperta Medan. A study subject is a whole object where several sources or informants can provide information about the video instructional attack training product using a punching pad in development research. The research method is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of the development of video instructional attack training using punching pad taekwondo novice athletes from the sports aspect have been categorized very well with a percentage of 87.5%, thus the development product can be categorized as viable and can be used. The development of video instructional attack training using punching pad taekwondo novice athletes from taekwondo coaches has been categorized very well with a percentage of 96.6%, thus the development product can be categorized as feasible and usable. The development of video instructional attack training using punching pad taekwondo novice athletes from media experts has been categorized very well with a percentage of 92%, Thus the development product can be categorized as viable and usable. Conclusion of the development of video instructional attack training using punching pad is an instructional video variation of attack training using punching pad in taekwondo novice athletes in 2021 has an excellent category and is worth using.

Abstract

In 2022, cases of covid-19 in Indonesia have decreased compared to 2021. This has led to a loosening of rules related to social activities so that it has an impact on practising badminton. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes in 2021 and 2022. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were badminton athletes, both male and female, who were included in the age group of teenagers, cadets and adults who were in 10 badminton clubs in 9 districts/cities in East Java Province. The research instrument used a motivational questionnaire that was validated by expert judgements with a total of 19 questions and 6 questions about the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise. Data collection was carried out 2 times in June 2021 and March 2022 using an online google form. Data analysis used descriptive tests and paired t-tests using SPSS 20 software. The results showed that the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes was dominant in the moderate category with a percentage of 47.06% in 2021 and a percentage of 38.82% in 2022. The results of the t-test Pairs also show that there is a significant difference in motivation to train East Java badminton athletes between 2021 and 2022 on all indicators. The conclusion is that the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes in 2022 is better than in 2021.
