Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi has p-ISSN 1858-2192 and e-ISSN 2686-5467 published by the Development Economics Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, this journal publishes research articles in the field of Economics. This journal publishes research studies that use various qualitative and/or quantitative methods and approaches in the field of Economics. This journal aims to develop concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms, and methodologies in the scope of Economics published twice a year, namely June and December. The scope of Balance: Journal of Economics covers Economics and Development, Economic Behavior, Islamic Economic System, International Economy as well as applied sciences of Statistical Economics, Macro and Micro. Article submissions are made using the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi template accompanied by supporting documents in the form of: a statement of authorship, ethics, and a copyright statement, which can be downloaded on the main page of the Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi website. Balance: Jurnal Ekonomi has been single-reviewed by peer reviewers. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis tingkat bunga dan besarnya nilai taksiran barang jaminan pada PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Metode penelitian berupa lokasi penelitian di Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan dengan waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama 1 bulan. Pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Jenis data nya adalah kualitatif dan sumber datanya bunga dan besarnya nilai taksiran barang jaminan pada PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga. Populasi/sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 orang nasabah Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil penelitian adalah Besarnya nilai taksiran barang jaminan emas pada PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan adalah berdasarkan harga emas dunia perkarat dalam satu gram. Bunga taksiran barang jaminan emas pada PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan adalah dihitung per 15 hari dan besarnya bunga tergantung pada besarnya pinjaman nasabah dari PT. Pegadaian Cabang Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa. Pinjaman golongan A bunga yang diberikan sebesar 75%. Pinjaman golongan B dan C bunga yang diberikan sebesar 1.2%. Sedangkan pinjaman dengan bunga 1% masuk pada pinjaman golongan

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the human development index of Tana Torajad Regency within 10 years, starting from 2004-2013. The dependent variable in this study is the human development index (Y), while the independent variable is the percentage of the poor (X1) and economic growth (X2). The method of analysis used in this study is the method of multiple linear regression statistical analysis and analysis tool used to process data that is by using SPSS 16.0. The result of data analysis shows that the percentage of poor people significantly influence the human development index (HDI) of Tana Toraja Regency. From result of regression test, it is known that the value of sig = 0,016 <0,05 because sign value less than 0,05 means there is negative and significant influence with IPM. Similarly with the influence of economic growth (PDRB) on human development index (IPM) Tana Toraja , can be said to have a positive and significant effect. It can be seen from the result of regression test it has sig value = 0,027 <0,05, it means there is positive and significant influence. Thus the hypothesis is proved.

This study aims to determine the effect of interest rates on the volume of savings deposits customers at PT. BRI (Persero) Tbk Branch of Bulukumba.The population in this study is the interest rate and all the amount of savings customers. While the sample used is the interest rate from 2008-2014 and the amount of customer savings for 6 (six) years. Technique of data collecting done by observation, documentation, further analysis technique used is simple regression and correlation technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a very strong relationship and direction between the interest rate with the volume of savings at PT. BRI (Persero) Tbk in the city of Bulukumba with nilia (r = 0.84) and the influence of the interest rate on the saving volume is significant, since the tcount (4.2) is greater than the ttable on degrees of freedom 4 (2.13). Hence the hypothesis proposed earlier states that there is a significant influence between the interest rate with the volume of customer savings at PT. BRI (Persero) Tbk Branch Bulukumba for the last 6 (six) years (2008-2014) proved.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan apakah Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Motivasi karyawan pada kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Makassar serta untuk mengetahui variable manakah yang berpengaruh secara dominan diantara dua variable Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan. Sampel menggunakan Metode wawancara langsung dengan pihak-pihak yang terlibat dengan masalah yang sedang dibahas serta memberikan kuesioner kepada karyawan sesuai dengan penelitian yang dilakukan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Metode Kuantitatif yang menggunakan enam rumus yaitu Uji Validitas, Uji Reliablitas, Regresi Berganda, Uji F , Uji T dan Koefisien Determinasi dengan bantuan software SPSS 20.0 for windows. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Motivasi Kerja karyawan pada Kementerian Agama Kota Makassar. Variable Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan koefisien regresi berganda bertanda positif (+) menandakan hubungan yang searah dengan kata lain Kepuasan Kerja dan Kepemimpinan akan meningkatkan Motivasi Kerja Karyawan pada Kementerian Agama kota Makassar.

Penelitian ini adalah dengan metode regresi linier sederhana, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Selayar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Selayar,kemudian diadakan penarikan sampel dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik Accidental Sampling (sampling kebetulan). Tehnik analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: pada umumnya kualitas pelayanan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Untuk menentukan erat tidaknya pengaruh yang ditunjukkan variable. kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanngan, dapat diperhatikan pada hasil korelasi dengan memakai standar 0,5. Artinya jika koefisien korelasi > 0,5 makadinyatakan pengaruhnya erat dan jika < 0,5 pengaruhnya lemah.pada hasil korelasi pada tabel 14 terlihat nilai kualitas pelayanan sebesar -0,042 artinya pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap epuasan pelanggan tidak eratatau pengaruhnya lemah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwapengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan tidak erat atau pengaruhnya lemah.

FILZAH NUR FAJRINA 2011 Effect of Motivation on Work Productivity In BKKBN Office Sulawesi - South. Supervised by Dr. Hj. Ruliaty, SE, MM and Ismail Badollahi, SE, M.Si. AK.CA. This study aims to determine the effect of Motivation on Work Productivity In BKKBN Office of South Sulawesi in order to increase productivity in the office. The method used in this research is the Research Library (library research) are implemented by way of holding direct study of some books as library materials that can support this research. Besides field research (field research), which held a direct visit to the object. Research has been established, the research conducted by the method of analysis used is Simple Regression Analysis which explains the motivation Effect on Productivity Work In South Sulawesi BKKBN office. Results of this research indicate that motivation influence on Productivity Work In South Sulawesi BKKBN office.

This research is aimed to increase the income of pavement (PK5) in Pantai Losari Makassar. The method or type of this study is the population or target survey that is the tourists and experts on the beach losari losari, each of 20 people. Techniques of writing data through questionnaires, interviews and materials as a supporter. Data analysis was done by using simple linear regression analysis.Working hypothesis: Release and train have a significant effect on increasing the income of the street vendors in losari beach. The result of analysis based on result of simple linear regression analysis obtained y = 5,787 + 0,910x. And by partial test or partial determination coefficient (r2). To increase the income of PK5 beach losari makassar by 0,522. Through F test obtained Fcount of 19.690 which means for income increase PK5, and simultaneously (r2) is equal to 52,27%. This means that the increase of PK5 in coastal losari makassar is 68.8% by tourists and 47.72% by other factors that are not in the analysis.

This purpose of this research is to know The Influence of Performance Assessment and Self Monitoring of Discipline Work Employees Part Operational Technique The Office Region I Services PDAM City Makassar. The kind of research used in the is research case study with the approach descriptive quantitative. From the test F and the t, obtained regression equation: (Y = 8.888 + 0.281X1 + 0.506X2 + e) After the results of a correlation coefficient 0,451 who obtained the shows that there is a close relation between variables Performance Assessment (X1) and variables Self Monitoring (X2) on variables Discipline Work (Y). To known the result testing overall on variables Discipline Work (Y) he then use test F with the level of trust 95%. Of variable ANNOVA obtained that F-annova obtained that count as much as 12,378 > F-table 3,30 it or significant F 0,000 < 5% (0,05) so it can be concluded that is the simultaneous is Performance Assessment and variables Self Monitoring on variables Discipline Work. From the results of this partial testing, variables Performance Assessment (X1) and Sel Monitoring (X2), have the effect on Discipline Work where on Performance Assessment t-annova > t-table (2.061 > 1.68957) and at Self Monitoring t-annova > t-table (3.119 > 1.68957).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran modal sosial yang terdiri dari kepercayaan, jaringan, dan nilai / norma, pada kontrak pinjaman antara pedagang dengan rentenir di pasar karuwisi kota Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.Data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa modal sosial memiliki peran penting dalam kontrak pinjaman antara pedagang dengan rentenir dalam hal kepercayaan, jaringan, dan nilai / norma. Dari sisi kepercayaan, rentenir percaya untuk meminjamkan setelah komunikasi yang intens dan kehadiran tempat penjualan tetap.sisi jaringan, hubungan pribadi membuat para pedagang merasa nyaman karena rentenir. Dari sisi nilai / norma, nilai siri 'membuat para pedagang tidak membayar hutangnya dan baik pedagang maupun pemberi pinjaman tahu bahwa seharusnya tidak menambah hutang sebelum membayar dari hutang sebelumnya.

This research is a quantitative research using interview and survey approach. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Work Motivation Employee Performance On Carrefour Karebosi Linkdi Makassar. By using saturated sample sebanyank 58 respondents. Methods of data collection using questionnaires with likert scale. Data processing is done by using simple regression analysis.The findings of this study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between employee motivation on employee performance at Carrefour Karebosi Link in Makassar. In the research above thesis that has been done there is a simple regression analysis results that have a value of 0.68 and T test conducted states that Ho is rejected and accept Ha.
