Abstract

Network management and monitoring are crucial, especially in educational environments such as SMK Wachid Hasjim Maduran, which has a network with various devices and connected clients. The high number of users accessing the network often leads to bandwidth issues. This research aims to implement The Dude, a MikroTik-based network monitoring application, to detect and address bandwidth problems and monitor the status of client devices (up/down). The system is equipped with a notification feature that sends real-time information to network administrators via Telegram regarding the network's condition. Monitoring is conducted using The Dude, which can map all devices in the network and monitor their performance and status. When a bandwidth issue occurs or a client device goes down, the system automatically sends a notification to Telegram. This allows administrators to take the necessary actions promptly without always being in front of the computer. The results of this implementation show that utilizing The Dude in combination with Telegram notifications is effective in real-time network monitoring, reducing downtime, and improving response to network issues. This system is expected to be an efficient solution for network management in educational environments and can be adopted by other institutions facing similar challenges.   Keywords - MikroTik, Monitoring, Telegram Notification, The Dude.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of water pollution in the Tempur River based on physical parameters, including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), temperature, and color. The Tempur River is one of the water sources used by the surrounding community, so it is important to know its water quality condition. Sampling was carried out at several strategic points along the river. Laboratory analysis was performed to measure TDS, TSS, temperature, and water color intensity, then compared with the quality standards set in Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 regarding Water Quality and Water Pollution Control. The temperature, TDS, and color parameters of the Tempur River are still within the quality standard limits set by Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 The results show that the water temperature of 28.9°C is within the normal range but close to the upper limit, potentially influenced by high sunlight intensity, low vegetation shading, and shallow river depth. The TDS level of 305 mg/L is well below the maximum threshold of 1000 mg/L, indicating that dissolved substances are within safe limits, though minor anthropogenic activities may contribute to this value. The TSS concentration of 35 mg/L is below the allowable limit set by Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001, suggesting the water is relatively clear and suitable for agricultural and fishery use. Furthermore, the water color value of 15.0 Pt-Co is significantly below the threshold of 50 Pt-Co, indicating clear water with minimal pollution from dissolved organic compounds or industrial waste. Overall, the water quality of the Tempur River remains within acceptable limits, though ongoing monitoring is recommended to maintain its suitability for various uses. Abstract

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) turning is one of the most widely applied precision machining technologies in modern manufacturing, where surface quality is a key determinant of product performance and reliability. Surface roughness (Ra) is recognized as one of the most critical parameters for evaluating machining results. However, reliance on operator experience in selecting machining parameters often leads to inefficiencies and inconsistent surface quality, indicating the need for more accurate predictive approaches. This study proposes an Artificial Neural Network (ANN)-based model to predict surface roughness in CNC turning using two distinct experimental configurations. The first experiment (Exp1) employs three identical factor variations, whereas the second experiment (Exp2) incorporates different factorial combinations to introduce broader variability. The developed ANN architecture consists of four dense layers with ReLU and LeakyReLU activation functions, complemented by dropout layers to mitigate overfitting arising from the relatively small dataset. The results show that the ANN model effectively learns the nonlinear relationships between machining parameters and Ra values. Furthermore, the model achieves higher predictive accuracy in Exp2, likely due to its more structured parameter variations. Overall, the findings demonstrate that ANN-based prediction provides a promising and efficient approach for enhancing accuracy in surface quality assessment within CNC turning operations.   Keywords-  Artificial Neural Network (ANN); CNC Turning; Surface Roughness.

Abstract

Academic stress significantly impacts students' psychological well-being and academic performance. This study focuses on predicting students' stress levels using a data-driven machine learning framework. The dataset was obtained from a questionnaire comprising 25 indicators encompassing emotional, psychological, academic, and environmental aspects of students. The research procedure involved data preprocessing, checking for missing values and redundancy, normalization, descriptive statistical analysis, model development, and performance evaluation using metrics such as recall, precision, sensitivity, specificity, F-measure, and accuracy. The implemented algorithm achieved excellent results, with an overall accuracy of 0.98. The model demonstrated high effectiveness in classifying Eustress and Distress, while its performance in detecting the No Stress category was limited, although precision and specificity indicate a strong capacity to differentiate between classes. These findings confirm that a machine learning approach can effectively capture patterns of student stress based on questionnaire responses and offers valuable guidance for developing early warning systems and targeted psychological intervention strategies. The study highlights the potential of data-driven predictive methods in supporting students' mental health through empirical data analysis. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload experienced by workers in the production of snow cireng and chicken-filled cireng at UD Mitra Abadi, Duriwetan Village, Maduran Subdistrict, Lamongan. The production process involves high physical and mental demands, especially in activities such as manually mixing dough, shaping dough, lifting raw materials, and performing packaging. The NASA Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) method is used to measure perceived workload based on six dimensions, namely mental demand, physical demand, time pressure, effort, level of success, and level of frustration. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to workers. The results of the study show that the workers' workload level falls into the high category, with the indicators most influencing the workload being Effort (27.50%) and Physical Demand (22.50%), which indicates that production activities require significant physical effort and are performed repeatedly, making it the most dominant factor causing fatigue. Some workers also complain of discomfort in the back, shoulders, and arms due to manual work and less ergonomic working postures. Recommended improvements include adding male workers so tasks do not overlap and the workload is reduced, as well as adding automatic mixing machines to decrease physical fatigue. The use of PPE such as heat-resistant gloves should be mandatory, and the layout and height of worktables need to be adjusted to be more ergonomic and reduce physical complaints. Abstract

The onion stick home industry is one of the small-scale food sectors in Indonesia that significantly contributes to local employment and income. Ensuring halal compliance is crucial not only to meet consumer demands but also to enhance sustainable performance. This study aims to examine the implementation of Halal Supply Chain Management (HSCM) and its impact on sustainable performance in the onion stick home industry. Data were collected through surveys and interviews with home industry producers, focusing on four main dimensions of HSCM: halal sourcing, halal production, halal warehousing, and halal distribution. Sustainable performance was measured across economic, environmental, and social indicators. The results indicate that the implementation of HSCM in home industries is moderate, with strong awareness of halal practices but limited formal documentation. Despite these limitations, HSCM positively affects sustainable performance, particularly economic and social aspects. The study also identifies challenges such as limited knowledge of formal halal standards, inadequate documentation, and financial constraints in obtaining halal certification. Strengthening supplier verification, formalizing standard operating procedures, and providing training and government support are recommended to enhance both halal compliance and sustainability. Keywords¾ Halal Supply Chain Management; sustainable performance; home industry; small-scale food industry.
