Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic economic publications in developing research on financial system stability through mapping research results. This research was conducted on journal articles indexed by dimensions.ai from 2017 to 2021. The analysis was carried out by bibliometrics using the R Biblioshiny software. The results show that non-Islamic economic journals dominate the development of journals that publish the theme of financial system stability. There is only one journal that is most relevant to the theme of financial system stability in Islamic economics and is in the top 20, namely "Journal of Islamic Monetary Economics and Finance". Likewise, only one journal that has a major impact on Islamic economics is the "International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management". The most relevant writers on the theme of financial system stability are Li J, Wang Y, Zhang J, and Zhang Z. However, the most productive is Li J and the one with the biggest impact is Chen Y. Then the country with the most citations is Hong Kong followed by the USA and India. Research with this theme is predicted to increase again in the years to come and is related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the system has not detected the relationship with the Islamic economy.

Abstract

This research details the Qardhul Hasan funding, administration, and assessment system. Six respondents were interviewed for this study, four from BMT Bina Umat Mandiri (managers, DPS members, secretaries, and customer service) and two from other customers. This research found that Qardhul Hasan is funded from Zakat, Infaq, Alms, Member Savings, and the Remaining Operating Results. Furthermore, most people who apply for this type of funding are in the education and trading sectors. Based on our analysis, the weaknesses of this financing lie in the distribution of human resources and the scarcity of available cash; To address these issues, we propose surveying consumers to collect reliable data and encourage individuals to save more proactively. Qardhul Hasan has a severe money shortage, but member savings are steadily growing and might help alleviate the crisis. While this funding can be used to serve others, oppose usury institutions, and please Allah. BMT Bina Umat Mandiri's follow-up plan involves employing member savings to create and enhance the quantity of cash for supporting Qardhul Hasan, expanding its reach in its mission to aid people. Management studies reveal that Qardhul Hasan funding at BMT Bina Umat Mandiri is not being redistributed to company capital but is being used to reduce the financial burden of healthcare and education on the local population.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of Islamic economics in Islamic boarding schools in Banjar City. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach, and the sample consists of 45 Islamic boarding school institutions taken using the saturated sampling method. The study results indicate that Islamic economics development in Islamic boarding schools in Banjar City is generally good in several aspects. However, there are still three aspects that are not optimal, namely the lack of activities on Islamic economic/financial studies, the absence of Islamic economic/zakat/financing institutions, and not being involved in the socialization/promotion of Islamic economic and financial products in Banjar City. The indicators of the perception of Islamic boarding school leaders towards Islamic economics and their contribution to the development of Islamic economics are good, but the mentoring of society trapped in loan sharks still needs to be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential and collaborative scheme between BSI and IMIs in utilizing ICSR zakat more productively. The research method used is qualitative research with a grounded approach which begins with analyzing empirical data and literature leading to the conceptual-theoretical level. The author conducted content analysis on secondary data in the form of BSI 2021 journals and sustainability reports. The results of the research show that there is potential for collaboration between BSI and IMIs in terms of utilizing zakat to improve the living standards of the poor and encourage micro-enterprises through the qadhrul hasan financing scheme where the beneficiary will only be charged return on initial capital then profits can be given to the manager. This collaboration will not only provide social benefits to both parties but will also increase the commercial function where people will feel the direct impact of the benefits of Islamic financing so that they can be more educated and will ultimately increase Islamic financial inclusion in Indonesia.
