Abstract

Objective: This study aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the psychological impact of tsunamis, particularly focusing on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and to assist in developing effective interventions to support mental recovery for disaster victims. Method: A scoping review methodology was employed to examine the literature on PTSD caused by tsunamis in Asia. Relevant studies were identified through the Web of Science database using the keywords "PTSD AND Tsunami" and "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder." Results: The synthesis revealed the prevalence and symptoms of PTSD among tsunami survivors, as well as the risk and protective factors influencing its development. Key risk factors included the loss of family members or close friends, feelings of helplessness during the disaster, and the quality of post-disaster social support. Novelty: This article highlights the specific psychological challenges faced by tsunami survivors in Asia, particularly following catastrophic events such as the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. It emphasizes the need for targeted mental health interventions and contributes valuable insights for enhancing recovery efforts in disaster-prone regions.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the legal aspects influencing enterprise development under Uzbekistan’s civil law framework, with a focus on business registration, contractual obligations, and liability. It addresses the challenges entrepreneurs face in complying with civil regulations and explores the broader implications for economic stability. Method: The research employs a qualitative legal analysis, reviewing constitutional provisiosns, civil codes, and regulatory frameworks governing entrepreneurship. Case studies and judicial precedents are analyzed to assess the practical application of these laws. Results: Findings reveal that legal capacity, property rights, and contractual obligations significantly impact entrepreneurial activities. The regulatory framework provides mechanisms for legal recourse through commercial courts, ensuring business protection while addressing monopolistic practices. However, challenges such as bureaucratic inefficiencies in business registration and contract enforcement remain prevalent. Novelty: Unlike previous studies, this research highlights the intersection of legal capacity and entrepreneurship, demonstrating how civil law principles shape business operations. By bridging the gap between legal theory and entrepreneurial practice, this study provides insights for policymakers to refine business regulations, enhance legal literacy, and foster a more efficient business environment.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the underlying causes of juvenile delinquency, assess the effectiveness of legal frameworks in addressing youth crime, and explore preventive measures that integrate legal, educational, and social support systems. Method: The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing legal analysis, case studies, and a review of existing literature on juvenile justice systems. A comparative analysis of different legal frameworks provides insights into the effectiveness of punitive versus rehabilitative approaches. Results: The findings reveal that juvenile delinquency is predominantly influenced by socio-economic disparities, family dysfunction, and gaps in the education system. Legal interventions focusing solely on punishment are often insufficient in reducing recidivism. Instead, a comprehensive approach incorporating legal reform, educational policies, and community-based interventions proves more effective in preventing youth crime. Novelty: This study contributes to the discourse on juvenile justice by emphasizing the integration of preventive legal policies with educational and social support mechanisms. Unlike previous studies that focus primarily on punitive measures, this research highlights a multidisciplinary approach as a sustainable solution for reducing juvenile delinquency.
