Abstract

Al-Qur'an is a way of life for every Muslim and, hereafter, obligatory for every Muslim. Recognition and understanding of tajwid are essential to read properly and correctly, especially reading iqra'. However, in Jombong Hamlet, there are still limited assistance and a need for more knowledge about reading law. Therefore, tajwid learning training activities are needed, especially for TPQ children. The mentoring method used is the PAR (Participatory action research) method. Thus, in the process of community service, the team is involved in a participatory manner among parents. After the service, the community became enthusiastic because it added knowledge about reading tajwid properly and correctly with the qiraati method.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the community's attractiveness in managing waste in Jombong Hamlet, Patent, Dukun, and Magelang. This activity aims to reduce the accumulation of household waste so that there is no disaster and to utilize the waste with the creations and innovations of the surrounding community. The methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. With the PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach, the service team views the existence of a waste bank as an essential asset for the community. The results show that waste bank management benefits the surrounding community; the environment becomes comfortable, beautiful, and green. This study concludes that household waste can benefit from the social, economic, and environmental aspects that positively impact the Jombong Hamlet Waste Bank.

Abstract

Several countries, especially Indonesia, are still feeling the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the health, politics, and education sectors. In addition, the impact felt by the Indonesian state is the economic sector. The Indonesian economy experienced a slump; the government intensified Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to improve quality. Because MSMEs are increasingly visible and widely owned by Indonesian citizens, the government provides a policy that every MSME must have legality. This legality is called the Business Permit Number or NIB, formerly known as SIUP. Using the PAR approach, the facilitator conducts a mentoring program for making NIB using the Online Single Submission System so that MSME actors immediately have legality. Moreover, during the making of the NIB, MSME actors access the OSS page and already have a legality called NIB.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the current conditions regarding the administration of facilities and infrastructure in Babadan 01 hamlet, Patent village, dukun sub-district, Magelang district. This research was done because of the need for more socialization in the village apparatus about recording the administrative management of existing facilities and infrastructure. Thus, the first work program provided assistance and socialization to the community on the importance of recording the administrative management of hamlet facilities and infrastructure. The method used is PAR (participatory action research), meaning that this program was created because it needed to be strengthened by information obtained from the head of the hamlet and not the development of existing activities. This program has had a positive impact on both the hamlet and the surrounding community.

Abstract

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines skill as the ability to do something that comes from training, experience, and practice. Skill is something that requires basic training and abilities that everyone has in order to produce something more valuable quickly. Skill is a term that includes knowledge, competence, and the ability to perform operational tasks. Skills can be developed through life and work experience or learned through training. Therefore, to improve skills, screen printing training is carried out. Screen printing is a technique to ink with a specific process on fabric materials in various shapes, images, and colors. The ability to print images in fabrics and t-shirts has prospects as an effort to improve creative skills and create independent job opportunities for young people. The aim is to introduce screen printing to the youth groups of Babadan 1 hamlet and provide a deeper understanding to youth groups about the potential to develop the economy through screen printing training. Through this training, the youth are expected to be able to bring about changes in the economy. Babadan 1 hamlet has the potential to have new skills and create new livelihood opportunities. So far, most of the livelihoods of Babadan 1 hamlet are farmers. The training results show an increase in skills and the interest of the youth to open up opportunities for screen printing entrepreneurs as a free time filler during the gap period after the planting season is over.

Abstract

Dasekan hamlet is known as the center of the cottage industry for brickmaking. Almost all residents become brickmakers. However, this business gradually gets sluggish, and the price is lower. The type of Research used in this study uses a qualitative case study. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The PAR method has three key variables: Participatory, Action (action), and Research (Research). The results of the initial observations indicate the potential economic value of the excavated pits for raw bricks that have yet to be utilized. During the outreach activities, the community learned how to use ex-brick excavation land in fish ponds. The follow-up to this community service activity is to carry out continuous monitoring and evaluation with STAI Lecturer Syubbanul Wathon. To facilitate coordination, a brickmaking community in Dasekan hamlet is formed so that this socialization activity has valuable benefits that the community can feel.

Abstract

Most MSMEs in rural areas utilize and increase the value of local raw materials to produce a product. Utilization of local raw materials as superior products for SMEs is carried out in particular in the Sawangan Hamlet, Sawangan Village Magelang Regency. One of the SMEs that utilizes local raw materials is the centre for making Gendar crackers. Products produced from these raw materials are very popular with traditional ones. However, good marketing has yet to support the amount of product produced. This is due to the need for more marketing personnel and the absence of a food product brand. Based on this, the servant assists the MSMEs in marketing strategies. In assisting marketing activities, the servants assist by providing training on the use of social media as a marketing tool and making product labels or brands that become the identity of the Gendar Cracker snack product from Sawangan hamlet.

Abstract

Currently, micro businesses have an important role in society. The backbone of Indonesia's economy is through micro business because micro businesses are one of the government's programs for alleviating poverty. One of the efforts to promote micro business was carried out in Gondangan Hamlet, Sawangan Village, by training on making bouquets and socializing the creative economy. This activity is carried out to ignite the community's creativity and change the mindset to be more advanced. By using the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) research method and the implementation method using the FGD method, interviews, presentations, and evaluations, the mindset of the Gondangan Hamlet community is increasingly advanced and systematic. It is proven by the number of people who are moved to start new creative businesses, and the community is aware of the importance of a certified economic system. People pay more attention to the economy and make something that looks worthless can be turned into something of high value. Abstract

With independent learning, a student can solve problems related to his studies without depending on the teacher or classmates. Then is the character of someone who believes more in his abilities and tries to be free from dependence on others in adjusting to his problems, based on a creative and innovative character. This community service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method by directly extracting various information, then taking action as a solution to the problems identified by participating in developing the design and implementation of actions based on research results. The tutoring program aims to help increase students' independence in learning. With the tutoring program, the students became more enthusiastic about learning. Increased enthusiasm for learning can mean that students have increased learning independence.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an Education Park is a public facility used as a multipurpose building located in Babadan 2 Hamlet, Patent Village, Dukun District. The service activity aims to provide learning assistance for elementary school students in Babadan 2 village to increase the spirit of learning. The small group discussion method can help increase students' enthusiasm for learning. The approach method is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method which focuses on asset development. Achievements in mentoring elementary school students in Babadan 2 hamlet, Patent Village, include: applying discussion learning methods, orientation to students, and assistance in overcoming learning difficulties by forming study groups.
