Abstract

Family is the main and first basis of education. Parents in the family are required to be able to carry out their role as good educators in the family. Education can be in the form of teaching, habituation, giving advice, setting an example, giving gifts and punishment. The purpose of this activity is assistance to mothers and families in raising children through religious literacy. Religious literacy uses Lukman's advice in QS. Lukman: 13-19. Lukman's advice contains educational values ​​and can be used as an Islamic family education curriculum. The research method for community service activities uses the Asset-based community development (ABCD) approach. The steps of the ABCD method start with preparation, implementation, reporting and presentation activities. The form of this activity is in the form of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the women of Tepus Kulon Village. The results of the activity showed that the results of the FGD activities resulted in an increased understanding of the mother's role in raising children in the family and an understanding of Lukman's advice to his children. In addition, family understanding is the first environment that influences one's education and as the first and foremost vessel for personality development and growth has achieved a good initial understanding.

Abstract

Understanding the financial management and governance of micro, small, and medium enterprises is needed so that micro, small, and medium enterprises can develop and obtain information quickly and accurately for decision-making. Understanding the financial management of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises involves traders in Tempos Village, including traders of traditional Lombok snacks. This community service activity aims to improve understanding of the financial management of micro, small, and medium enterprises. Apart from that, if financial records are carried out well, they can produce the correct information for decision-making and solve problems for business actors. With this outreach, the activity participants' awareness level will become more motivated. It will no longer be afraid of seeking capital in the banking and non-banking sectors, which is inherent in business actors. The method of counseling and knowledge about financial governance is carried out by training participants to make simple financial reports. By implementing this program, participants are expected to be able to apply and be able to make simple financial reports that can be used to apply capital to financial institutions.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide training on the application of digital marketing as a marketing strategy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) so that it can produce marketing that can reach the wider community, increase the number of consumers and attract buyer interest. MSME business actors in Ringinanom village need technology-based business development to be able to compete with their competitors. Therefore, outreach and training need to be carried out to provide knowledge and understanding of the importance of digital marketing for their business. There are two methods used in assisting MSME businesses in digital marketing, namely workshops and direct practice. Introduction to digital marketing as an introduction to this program as well as the benefits obtained from using digital marketing. In this training, we utilize an application in the Play Store Application, namely the Photoroom Application. Business actors who take part in this training are expected to be able to implement the results of the training and discuss with other business actors and the surrounding community. Advice that can be given in creating content marketing is to add interesting captions and hashtags that are easy to follow so that products are easy to find.

Abstract

MTS Ma’arif Walisongo 2 is the only nonformal educational institution in Krandegan hamlet, Sukomakmur Village, Kajoran sub-district, Magelang district. This institution is the center of a school teaching reading the Al-Qur'an from an early age in the hamlet. However, there are deficiencies at the school. Namely, a few MTS Ma’arif Walisongo 2 st students have entered the Qiro’ah field. The students all read the Al-Qur'an in the usual tone. The purpose of this activity is to provide students with understanding and learning in order to be able to read the Qur’an by applying the Qiro’ah rules. In this activity, the servant meets the students face to face. The result of this dedication is an increase in reading the Qur’an properly and correctly, supported by an understanding of the Al-Qur'an Science material. The approach method is the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method, which focuses on asset development.

Abstract

Reading is an activity used to increase knowledge and experience to increase intelligence. Lack of reading skills makes students find it difficult to understand the content of the writing they read. Based on the background, the aim of the read aloud learning program carried out by the author is to improve students' reading skills, so that they can more easily understand and capture the results well from the writing they read. In implementing this service activity, the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach is used. This community service program was carried out in class 3 at MI Al-Islam Prampelan, Adipuro, Kaliangkrik, Magelang, using picture story media through digital books. The result of this service activity is that through the read aloud learning program using picture story media, students' ability to use punctuation, intonation, and comprehension ability in reading and understanding improves.

Abstract

This community service activity which  was carried out on July 31 2023 has the aim of assisting digital marketing activities in Sukomakmur Village, Magelang Regency. The form of  assistance  is  carried  out  in  the  form  of  socialization  which  is  carried  out  at  the Sukomakmur village hall, Kajoran District. The material presented is related to the introduction of digital marketing, the benefits of branding, social media, brand naming, icons, when to post, how to provide watermarks and recommendations for applications to use to make the product more attractive. In community service, a business registration number, halal certification and digital marketing workshop was held with 20 participants from Sukomakmur Village, including Marongan Hamlet, Gunung Malang Hamlet, Nampan Hamlet, Krandegan Hamlet, Gendol Hamlet, Naden Hamlet. The training stage consists of several activities including: (1) introduction to Digital Marketing and branding. (2) introduction to social media. (3) introduction of the marketplace. To carry out this socialization, lecture, discussion and practice methods were used. Socialization is carried out to provide an understanding of digital concepts, social media and the benefits of using social media. Apart from that, assistance is provided to improve technical capabilities for content on platforms such as: Tik-tok, Instagram and Facebook. The results of the evaluation of digital marketing training activities show that this activity received a positive response, was assessed as being able to provide new knowledge and knowledge, and received responses that provided inspiration for MSMEs in Sukomakmur village.

Abstract

This community service (PkM) activity aims to strengthen early childhood character formation through Moral Guidance (Akhlak Pendampingan) at TPQ Al-Amin, Gombong Hamlet. The core urgency of the activity was the existing gap between religious theory and the practical application of moral conduct among students, coupled with the lack of a structured curriculum focused on character development within the TPQ. The methodology employed was the Asset-Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach, leveraging the community assets, specifically the TPQ facility and full community support. Program implementation involved curriculum reformation through deliberation (Design), followed by the execution of three core activities (Destiny): Alala Book studies using the bandongan method, direct prayer practice, and ancestral tomb pilgrimage (ziarah kubur); all oriented towards practical moral behavior. The results demonstrated that the program successfully produced a sustainable new curriculum and significantly increased student enthusiasm and positive behavior (Akhlak). This success affirms that cultivating character education from an early age through interactive and community-based participatory methods is highly effective in shaping the character of the nation's children.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out in Gombong Hamlet, Magelang Regency, with the primary goal of increasing student learning motivation which had declined due to the ineffectiveness of online learning. The program was designed to fill the academic gap, complementing existing character development efforts. The methodology employed was the Asset-Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach, where the problem of low motivation was addressed through the design and implementation of interactive Tutoring (Bimbingan Belajar) sessions. Tutoring was held six days a week, utilizing a personal mentoring model at the local mosque porch. The sessions involved adaptive and engaging learning strategies, including task completion, additional cross-curricular material, and interspersed games and singing to combat lack of focus. The results of the PkM demonstrated the program's success, marked by a significant increase in student enthusiasm and attendance, along with positive feedback from parents who felt assisted in academic guidance. This achievement confirms that structured and responsive tutoring intervention is an effective solution for reinforcing student motivation and academic competence at the hamlet level.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was conducted in Tempursari Hamlet to address the low learning outcomes in Mathematics among Elementary School (SD) students, particularly concerning mastery of basic arithmetic operations, exacerbated by insufficient guidance at home. The main objective of the program was to improve Mathematics learning outcomes through innovative educational mentoring. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involved a continuous cycle of Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The core intervention implemented was the Jarimatika Method, a play-based learning model utilizing the hands and fingers as a visual and kinesthetic counting tool. The results from PAR Cycle I demonstrated that Jarimatika successfully increased basic arithmetic competence and student interest significantly, as students were able to solve problems quickly and correctly. Although challenges related to differences in student comprehension were noted, the overall findings confirm that employing the innovative Jarimatika method offers an effective solution for transforming students' perception of Mathematics and enhancing their academic achievement.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was conducted at MTs YAKTI Tegalrejo with the primary objective of developing school administration management. The PkM addressed internal constraints faced by the madrasah, namely the low competency of administrative human resources (HR). The methodology employed was Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), which involved asset identification (Discovery) and vision formulation (Dream). The main interventions designed (Design and Destiny) focused on two priority issues: (1) Data collection and organization of Class IX student documents (birth certificates, diplomas, SKHUN) and (2) Creation of student library identity cards. Implementation results showed that this assistance successfully established a more organized, efficient, and accountable work system. The program significantly improved the performance quality of the Administration Staff (Tata Usaha) and library services, affirming that asset-based administrative system development is an effective solution for supporting the optimization of the educational process in the madrasah.
