Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of early childhood curiosity through experiential learning within the framework of constructivism philosophy. A qualitative approach with a literature review design is used to explore in-depth data from various sources, such as scientific journals, reference books, and reliable articles relevant to the concept of constructivism, early childhood development, and learning strategies. Data analysis techniques followed the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of constructivism philosophy can be done through project-based learning methods, playing while learning, guided discussions, and the use of props. Direct experience has an important role in stimulating children's curiosity, improving cognitive abilities, and developing social skills. A learning environment that supports exploration, freedom to experiment and collaboration between students is a key factor in the success of this approach. Learning media such as pictures, videos and props are also effective in enriching children's learning experience. Reflection on the learning experience helps children connect new knowledge with existing ones, creating a strong representation in memory. This research makes a social contribution by emphasizing the importance of positive interactions between children, parents and teachers in creating an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. Such collaboration not only stimulates children's curiosity but also hones their communication, empathy and cooperation skills, which ultimately support their development as active and adaptive individuals in society.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explore the role of the family in early childhood moral education from an Islamic perspective, focusing on the views of Imam Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and Abdullah Nasih Ulwan. The research method used is a qualitative literature review, referring to classic books such as Ihya Ulumuddin and various modern sources related to moral education. The results show that the family has a central role as the main agent in instilling moral values through modeling, habituation, and teaching Qur'anic values from an early age. Moral education not only covers moral aspects but also equips children with practical skills to become productive members of society. This research emphasizes the importance of methods such as tadarrus, Islamic stories and daily prayers in building a child's spiritual and intellectual foundation. With the implementation of appropriate strategies, families can strengthen their function as primary educators in a modern era filled with the challenges of globalization and technological advancement. The findings provide practical insights for parents and educators to educate children holistically to grow into individuals who are civilized, have integrity, and are beneficial to humanity. Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the fatherless phenomenon on children's learning motivation from the perspective of family education philosophy. Secondary data were analyzed through a review of the relevant literature. The theoretical framework of this research is based on the thoughts of John Dewey, Abraham Maslow, and Carl Rogers regarding the role of the family in character formation and intrinsic motivation. The results of the study show that the absence of a father figure can significantly reduce children's motivation to learn due to the psychological, social, and economic challenges faced. Lack of emotional support, difficulties in social interaction, and limited educational resources are inhibiting factors. However, the research also highlights the importance of the role of mothers and the surrounding environment in providing support, as well as strengthening family values as capital to build positive learning motivation in fatherless children. The implications of this study emphasize the need for comprehensive and collaborative interventions between families, schools, and communities. Counseling, mentoring, use of educational technology, and economic empowerment programs for single families are recommended as strategies to support the academic and social-emotional development of fatherless children, so that they can reach their maximum potential even in the condition of an incomplete family.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the concept of human nature in the perspective of Imam al-Ghazali's thought and its implications for character education. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method used is literature research. In al-Ghazali's view, humans consist of physical and spiritual elements. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the dominance of spiritual aspects such as qalb, spirit, aql, and nafs as the core of humanity that determines the direction of human life Character education according to Al-Ghazali not only aims to transfer knowledge, but also to form noble morals through purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs), spiritual approaches, and habituation of moral values from an early age. The implications of Al-Ghazali's thinking are very relevant to the goals of Indonesian national education as stated in the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003, which emphasizes the formation of people of faith, piety, knowledge, and noble character. The contribution of this research is to provide theoretical and practical insights into the importance of integrating spiritual values in character education, so that it can be a foothold for the development of holistic education models that are in accordance with the challenges of the times. This research also shows that character education based on akhlakul karimah can be an effective solution in overcoming moral degradation among today's young generation.

Abstract

This study examines the shift in religious authority amidst the dominance of social media and the post-truth era. Religious authority, which was once singular and static, now faces the challenges of democratization and fragmentation. Using descriptive qualitative methods and theoretical perspectives ranging from Marshall McLuhan to Bryan S. Turner, this study analyzes the interaction between technology and tradition. The results show that social media has transformed religious authority into a competitive actor in the public arena through digital indicators such as followers, likes, and shares. This phenomenon has triggered the emergence of "Celebrity Ustadz" who often displace traditional ulama due to their expertise in managing algorithms and emotional narratives. In the post-truth era, objective facts tend to be defeated by personal sentiment, forcing authority holders to choose between the depth of knowledge or the relevance of digital aesthetics. In conclusion, social media creates a new ecosystem that redefines religious authority as a "brand" in a highly competitive digital identity market

Abstract

The development of the modern era marked by globalization, digitalization, and the complexity of social problems requires Islamic Education to be adaptive and solution-oriented. However, Islamic Education learning still tends to be normative and insufficiently connected to students’ real-life contexts, thus necessitating a relevant philosophical and pedagogical approach. This study aims to analyze the principles of the pragmatic school of thought and their implementation in Islamic Education learning to realize adaptive and solution-oriented education. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were obtained from books, scholarly journal articles, and relevant academic documents. Data collection was conducted through source selection, critical reading, and systematic note-taking. Data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that pragmatic principles such as experiential learning, problem solving, inquiry-based learning, technological integration, and performance-based assessment are compatible with the values of Islamic Education. The implementation of these principles enhances learning relevance, strengthens character development, and makes Islamic Education more contextual in addressing modern challenges. The implementation of pragmatism in Islamic Education strengthens the integration of knowledge and action, making learning more applicable, adaptive, and responsive to contemporary social dynamics. The novelty of this study lies in the conceptual synthesis of educational pragmatism with Islamic values as a foundation for adaptive and solution-oriented learning.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology necessitates fundamental transformation in educational practices, particularly regarding the roles of teachers and educational staff. This literature study examines optimization strategies for teachers and educational personnel in realizing quality character-based education amid digital transformation. Through thematic content analysis of recent academic publications, this research reveals three critical findings. First, 60% of teachers possess minimal digital competencies, requiring structured capacity building through tiered training and peer mentoring programs. Second, effective digital education integration demands a three-pillar model comprising professional digital competencies, character-based innovative learning, and educational ecosystem synergy. Third, educational staff including school principals, digital librarians, and laboratory technicians play strategic yet often overlooked roles in creating conducive digital learning environments. The study demonstrates that successful digital education depends not merely on technological sophistication but on educators' capacity to utilize technology as instruments for enhancing learning quality while maintaining character values. This research contributes a comprehensive framework emphasizing the balance between technological mastery and moral value cultivation, proposing systematic professional development programs and multi-stakeholder collaboration to address implementation barriers including digital gaps, infrastructure limitations, and increased workload burdens.
