Abstract

The national film industry continues to grow, one example being Bakar Production's film, Joko Songo. This film is significant because it highlights local wisdom and the history of Karanganyar heroes while maintaining their authenticity. Studying this film is crucial to understand how effective management strategies can produce quality work even with limited resources.The main objective of this study is to analyze the production management of the film Joko Songo comprehensively, including planning, organization, budget and time management, and identify challenges and implemented solution strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the production team (producer, director, department heads), direct observation on location, and documentation studies (budget plan and production schedule). Data analysis was conducted using thematic techniques to identify patterns and determinants of success. The results show that the film production management is based on the principle of realism rather than blind idealism, where creativity must adapt to the available budget ("maximizing what we have"). Overall, this study concludes that Bakar Production has successfully implemented structured and professional production management with a focus on cost and time efficiency, team cohesion, and creative adaptation to bridge resource limitations in producing high-quality works that are rich in cultural values.

Abstract

Surah An-Nisa, verse 43 of the Al-Qur'an, stipulates that individuals in a state of junub are forbidden from entering the mosque. Numerous fiqh and tafsir scholars subsequently associated this restriction with menstruation women, so restricting their entry into mosques. This study seeks to investigate the function of mosques and women within the context of Qur'anic da'wah, particularly on the restriction on menstrual women, notably preachers, from visiting mosques. This research is qualitative and descriptive, employing a library research methodology that entails gathering data from several scientific publications, interpretations of the Al-Qur'an, and the perspectives of ulama concerning the regulations and etiquette for menstruation women in mosques. This study seeks to link these laws to the objectives of da'wah, particularly concerning women's involvement in religious and social activities within mosques. This research indicates two perspectives on the restriction of menstruation women from attending mosques. Rigid beliefs entirely forbid menstruation women from attending mosques to preserve the sanctity of the prayer space. Conversely, lenient interpretations permit menstruation women to occupy the mosque vicinity, provided they refrain from entering the prayer area and uphold decorum in accordance with Shari'a principles. Consequently, they may continue to engage in da'wah and religious instruction activities, provided they adhere to the etiquette prescribed by Shari'a. This research is new in its Qur'anic da'wah method, which underscores the significance of inclusivity and the role of women in da'wah within mosques, while adhering to established regulations. This research's conclusions examine the stringent and lenient perspectives of the ulama concerning these regulations

Abstract

In the context of modern society, Islamic da‘wah faces significant challenges in conveying moral and spiritual values in ways that remain relevant amid the dominance of popular culture and entertainment media. Popular music, often perceived as a profane cultural space, is frequently questioned in terms of its capacity to function as an effective and non-dogmatic medium of da‘wah. Against this backdrop, this study aims to analyze the song “Haramkah” by Melly Goeslaw as a reflection of cultural da‘wah that communicates Islamic moral values through popular music. This study employs a qualitative approach using lyrical text analysis, combined with the theoretical framework of Islamic communication and cultural da‘wah. The main focus is on how concepts of love and religious moral boundaries are aesthetically interpreted within the song’s lyrics, as well as how da‘wah messages are presented in a reflective and humanistic manner rather than in a dogmatic form. The findings indicate that “Haramkah” represents the inner struggle of modern individuals between romantic desire and moral consciousness, with the lyrics emphasizing the importance of self-restraint and the surrender of the heart to God. Music functions as a medium of emotional communication that integrates moral messages, affective experiences, and the listener’s religious awareness. The song illustrates a dialectical relationship between religion and popular culture, in which Islamic values are articulated through aesthetic forms that are accessible and relevant to urban life. Implications of this study highlight the potential of cultural da‘wah in fostering moral and spiritual awareness in modern society, while also expanding scholarly understanding of the transformation of Islamic da‘wah in the era of media and popular arts.

Abstract

Gender issues remain a problem that must continue to be brought to the attention of society. Gender inequality, discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence are topics that are avoided because they are considered taboo. Moreover, society's stigma against victims of sexual harassment prevents victims from reporting crimes because they are viewed negatively or even blamed for causing the harassment. The patriarchal culture that originated from capitalism, whereby men are more dominant, has created gender inequality in Indonesia that continues to this day. In gender equality, the rights of women and men are equal; neither is higher or lower than the other. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify and explain Instagram as a means of conveying issues of gender inequality in the content of the @sadampermana.w account. This study uses descriptive qualitative content analysis of the values of gender inequality conveyed through Instagram content. The primary source of content analysis is @sadampermana.w, while secondary sources come from books, journals, and previous literature that support the research topic. The points that underlie gender inequality according to Mansur Fakih include: 1) stereotypes or negative labeling by society, 2) subordination or distinguishing one entity as higher and less important, 3) marginalization, the attitude of excluding a group, 4) double burden or excessive burden, and 5) sexual violence. The research results of the @sadampermana.w account have voiced the five points of gender inequality through reel content on Instagram.

Abstract

The language of communication of public officials represents ethics, morality, and responsibility in maintaining national stability and government legitimacy. However, recently, there has been a frequent phenomenon of language ethics crisis, characterized by controversial, discriminatory speech, and even containing elements of hate speech. This study aims to analyze the crisis of language ethics in public officials' communication from the perspective of nationalism and governance. The novelty of this study lies in the relational analysis between the language ethics of public officials and the value of nationalism in the context of democratic governance. This study emphasizes the importance of fostering communication ethics based on Pancasila values and the principles of ethical political communication. The method used is library research by reviewing literature, scientific articles, and credible news related to the issue of communication ethics of public officials in Indonesia. Researchers use communication ethics theory to analyze data. The results of the study indicate that the crisis of language ethics has an impact on weakening public trust, decreasing state authority, and has the potential to trigger social disintegration. The crisis of public officials' language ethics is not only a linguistic issue, but is also closely related to the legitimacy of government and the integrity of nationalism. Abusive, discriminatory, or provocative language not only undermines communication ethics but also undermines national unity and government legitimacy. This research demonstrates that public officials need to internalize communication ethics based on moral values, Pancasila, and democratic principles to maintain national dignity.

Abstract

TThis research is motivated by the importance of da’wah communication in shaping the spirituality of members of the Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (PSHT) South Lampung Branch. PSHT members are not only trained in martial arts techniques but also require the strengthening of moral values, discipline, social awareness, and consistency in religious practices. Although organizational activities are conducted regularly, studies on how da’wah communication is implemented to develop and reinforce members’ spirituality remain limited. Therefore, this research aims to describe and analyze effective da’wah communication practices within the PSHT community.This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out thematically to identify the da'wah communication methods used and their impact on the spirituality of members. The results show that the form of da'wah communication in the PSHT South Lampung Branch is through da'wah communication through oral, verbal, and verbal communication, with the implementation of three main complementary methods: exemplary behavior (Uswatun Hasanah), advice and attention, and reward and punishment. The role models of seniors exemplify moral and spiritual behavior, advice and attention provide guidance and personal empowerment, while rewards and punishments strengthen motivation and spiritual habits. This combination of methods effectively builds and internalizes spiritual values, enabling members to implement discipline, humility, caring, and self-control in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic da'wah in environmental issues by highlighting the major flood that occurred in Bali on September 10, 2025. The low level of public awareness and concern for environmental preservation, which caused the flood, was not only due to natural factors but also due to environmental damage caused by human activities, as well as the suboptimal role of Islamic da'wah in building ecological awareness in society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of da'wah (Islamic outreach) on environmental issues, specifically through TikTok Metro TV's social media content, in educating the public about the causes and impacts of flooding. This data was obtained from TikTok Metro TV's social media platforms in the form of videos, observations of information broadcasts, and literature on Islamic da'wah and ecology. This study shows that flooding in Bali is not only caused by extreme rainfall, but also by decreased land absorption capacity, development that ignores spatial planning, dense buildings, and community habits that are less concerned about environmental issues, such as littering. Metro TV, through its TikTok account, plays a role in educating the public through short content explaining the causes and impacts of the floods in Bali. From an Islamic ecological perspective, environmental damage is seen as a facade of the earth's purpose (fil-ardh) and must be prevented. Therefore, collaboration between the community, government, media, and Islamic values is crucial to promote disaster mitigation and maintain environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The digital world for the Gen Alpha group today has become a challenge that must be considered by all parties, especially the openness of information without limits. Therefore, this study aims to provide an overview of education as a reflection of achieving awareness so that it can filter the information needed. Using the ABCD method, the author developed an approach in the field to raise awareness through digital literacy. So the results of the study show: Discovery (Finding Strength), taking information about the map of students' strengths as Gen Alpha facing the current digital world Dream (Building Dreams) Next, students together with facilitators design what desires they want to achieve with the current condition of assets. Design (Planning Actions) From the previous mapping, it is continued with action planning or preparation of RTL. Define (Gathering Strength) The PKM UIN FAS team collaborated with students of SMP N 2 Bengkulu City to compile a pocket book containing terms in Online Gender-Based Violence/KBGO to be used as a guideline by students to avoid pornography and sexual violence. Destiny (Ensuring Implementation) After the FGD is carried out, the PKM UIN FAS Bengkulu team will continue the discussion and preparation of a pocket book that is easy to understand and acceptable to students.
