Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the CIRC type Cooperative Learning learning model in reading comprehension material for grade 4 at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Barokah An-Nur Ajung, Jember. This research was conducted due to the background in which students find it difficult to understand and find information on a reading text and on the other hand students also have problems, namely they are easily bored in following lessons in class. Then the class teacher decided to apply the CIRC learning model, therefore researchers were interested in conducting research on the application of the CIRC learning model. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students. This study used a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses condensation, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that with the application of the CIRC learning model, students can easily understand and obtain information about the content of reading texts. Where in the implementation of the CIRC learning model students are required to work in groups so that students gain new experiences in learning, besides that students will be more confident in expressing their opinions in group learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by difficulties in storytelling skills in Indonesian subjects. So that students have difficulty in expressing ideas, and ideas when teachers ask students to tell stories, students tend to be lazy if the subject Indonesian.Learning storytelling skills in Indonesian subjects through this role-playing method is a game that is used as a place to act out characters, objects, plants or animals around them, so as to make students tell stories by paying attention to (1) the choice of words and sentences, (2) fluency and accuracy, and (3) the expressions shown. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the use of role-playing methods on the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects. The type of research used is pre-experimental quantitative research with one group pretes-postes design. The data collection method used is a test performance to determine the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects using role-playing methods. The subjects of this study were 25 students who were taken through purposive sampling data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used is the t-test or t-test. Based on the results of the calculation, the data obtained is significant at 0.000 smaller than 0.05. Which means a signification of 0.000<0.05. Thus, this shows that the influence of role-playing methods on the storytelling skills of Indonesian subjects is acceptable. It means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected

Abstract

The implementation of audio-visual learning media is very good for learning in madrasah, because students learn. This implementation is not only to attract attention so that students are able to pay attention to what material is in it, but the implementation of this learning media is to improve their memory through audio-visual learning. As according to Hamalik (Atin Fatimah 2019: 23) there are three factors that affect the success of a learning media implementation, namely: support from the head of the madrasah, peer teacher support, and internal support in the classroom. This implementation will not work if it is only driven by one factor such as the teacher, but everything will work if all are able to encourage and influence each other to keep running well an audio-visual learning media

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out how the application of guided inquiry models to learning in elementary schools, (2) find out whether there are differences in students' science process skills before and after learning through guided inquiry models, and (3) knowing how the development of students' science process skills through guided inquiry models. This type of research uses mixed methods embedded experimental design, using interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests as data collection methods. The research subjects consisted of 24 elementary school students. The results of the study show that: (1) the application of a guided inquiry model is carried out by the stages of expressing problems, preparing experiments or investigations, conducting experiments or investigations in groups, compiling reports on the results of experiments or investigations, and presenting the results; (2) there are differences in students' science process skills before and after learning through guided inquiry models; (3) students' science process skills through guided inquiry models experience fluctuating developments.

Abstract

Prayer is the main obligation of Muslims, so it must be introduced to children as early as possible. In learning in elementary schools (SD) there are Islamic religious education subjects (PAI) with a focus on discussing material about prayer. The fact that happened that the scores of grade III students in the PAI lesson on my obligation prayer material at SDN Gumirih Singojuruh Banyuwangi were still relatively low, namely out of 16 students only 3 achieved completion scores. Talking stick is a fun method that can be used as an alternative solution to improve student learning outcomes on prayer material. This research was conducted at SDN Gumirih Singojuruh Banyuwangi with the research subjects being grade III students totaling 16. The research method used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques in this study are, interviews, observations, documentation, and tests. While there are 2 kinds of data analysis techniques used, namely individual and class average value analysis techniques. The results showed that there was an increase in the number of children who achieved completeness scores from pre-cycle data as many as 3 children, cycle 1 as many as 7 children and cycle 2 as many as 11 children with a comparison of class average scores in the pre-cycle of 58.25, cycle 1 69, 31, and cycle 2 80.25.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Uswatun Hasanah method in shaping the character of the 8th grade students of Mts Imam Syafii Genteng Banyuwangi who have good morals. In this study the subjects were grade 8 students, totaling 25 students, all of whom were boys. In this study, the researchers designed using PTK (Classroom Action Research) with 4 stages, namely (1) Planning (2) Implementation (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. For data collection techniques, here researchers use evaluation or tests. There is an increase in the percentage of student completeness that occurs in the results of research on students' moral character. This can be seen in the actions from cycle I to cycle II which showed an increase. Because in Cycle I the results achieved were 32% of students who achieved good and very good indicators, the remaining 68% were still in sufficient and insufficient. Whereas in Cycle II it increased to 92% of students on good and very good indicators, and the remaining 8% were on less indicators. This research has been able to improve the character of akhlakul karimah in grade 8 students of MTs Imam Syafii Genteng Banyuwangi Regency.

Abstract

Education and character have great contact because the two are interdependent. There is some news regarding the waning value of character education in students, therefore the need for good character education. the focus of this research is (1) How are the values ​​of Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of Jember Muhammadiyah Vocational High School students? (2) What are the Values ​​of Character Education Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Social Intelligence of Jember Muhammadiyah Vocational High School students?. This study used a qualitative-descriptive approach at SMK Muhammadiyah Jember. Data collection procedures used observation, interviews, documentation with a total of 5 technical informants. The analysis included data categorization, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. As well as data validity using credibility. The results obtained from this study are (1) There is a Habituation of Character Education Values ​​Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Jember Namely Religiosity namely Dhuha Prayer, Nationalism namely Commemorating Religious Holidays, Honest namely IstiqomahDuha prayer, Integrity namely Consistent upholding noble values. (2) There is habituation of Kh Character Education Values. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of students at the Muhammadiyah Jember Vocational School, namely Religiosity, namely Praying for sick friends, Nationalism, namely participating in the flag ceremony, Honest, namely Students not smoke at Integrity schools, namely Students wearing complete uniforms.

Abstract

The scientific learning approach is learning that focuses on students being more active in the classroom. This learning model has good steps including observing, collecting data, reasoning and communicating. This learning model provides students with the opportunity to think critically in learning activities. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through a scientific learning approach in class VIII b PAI subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Cakru. This type of research is classroom action research with the number of samples in this research being 21 students in class VIII B at SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Cakru. The data collection technique is by conducting observations and writing tests. Meanwhile, when observations were made, the results obtained were 3 students (14%) with an average score of 70-80 who achieved completeness and students (86%) with an average score of 40-70 who still had not achieved completeness. After the first cycle of action was carried out, the increase was 14 students (67%) who completed it with an average score of 70-90 and 7 students (33%) who had not achieved completeness with an average score of 40-60. Then the second cycle of action was carried out which then it increased again, namely 17 students (81%) completed with an average score of 70-90 and 4 students (19%) had not yet achieved a completion score with an average score of 40-60. Based on research results, it shows that student learning outcomes increase by using a scientific learning approach model for class VIII b students in PAI subjects at SMP Muhammadiyah 08 Cakru.

Abstract

Education is an important thing in life of every human. Every human being has the same right t obtain education andd hopes to always develop in eduucation. Through education a person can gain extensive knowledge. In education, it is hope that ther will be change in achievemen and improvement in student learning outcome, especially in social studies learning in elementary school for class V students. So the researc was conducted withthe aim of findingout whether thermwas an increase instudent learning outcome .after implementing the STAD type coperative learning method in social studie learning in elementary schools. This research was carried out because during the research, researchers found a lack of student activity in class and relatively low student larning outcome in social studies subject because teachers when teaching still used the lecture method. Here the researcher uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method in the research process. And from theresearch results, it was found thatthere was an increasein student learning outcomes after implementing the STAD type cooperative method. The increase in learning outcome can be see from the comparison between cycle I and cycle II

Abstract

Pancasila is the philosophy of the Indonesian nation. Indonesian students should have character as the values contained in Pancasila. The values of Pancasila can be instilled through various strategies both directly in the learning process in the classroom, as well as the creation of a positive culture in schools. A positive culture in schools can be a productive medium for instilling Pancasila values for students. This study aims to describe the creation of a positive culture at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the study were teachers and students at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. This study involved 7 teachers, consisting of 3 teachers from low grades and 4 teachers from high grades. The students involved in this study were 30 students divided into 10 students from low grades and 20 students from high grades. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the creation of a positive culture The positive culture developed by the school consists of religious habituation, structuring the learning environment, and project compassionated action. The school believes that the cultivation of Pancasila values is effective when carried out in habituation of daily life at school. Therefore, schools need to build a positive culture that guides children and teachers in interacting with all school residents.
